The truth about SOLYMAR DOLPHIN HOUSE.

Good day to all who seek the truth. I would like to share my impressions about this hotel. I'll start from the beginning. When booking the hotel, there was no information about the SOLYMAR DOLPHIN HOUSE hotel. Since we were leaving on November 1, there was not much choice due to the holidays. The travel agency told me that in Pegasus and Mostrevel only positive reviews about this hotel. Newly built hotel. New 5*. Chain of hotels SOLYMAR. Etc. etc. After I looked on the Internet, it turned out that this hotel used to have a different name, or rather PARADISE RESORT MARSA ALAM 4 *. And the reviews about him are not the most encouraging. Change this hotel to another here in Russia, no one gave me. The most interesting thing in Pegasus was stubbornly saying that this was a new hotel, and they didn’t want to hear about the fact that the hotel had changed its name. And I hoped for the best went to rest.
We flew to the airport in Marsa Alam. The road from the airport to the hotel took 1.5 hours. On the way we stopped at FANTASIA SHORES. By the way, when choosing a hotel while still at home, they asked for it in "Fantasy", but the hotel was in the foot. When I finally reached my hotel, I was immediately disappointed with the appearance of the hotel. Going to the reception, I saw that the appearance of the hotel is fully consistent with the interior. Dirty floor and a welcome cocktail in the form of diluted powdered juice did not please, and did not inspire hope for the best.
We received the keys and were taken to our room. The room is quite spacious. Large bed, sofa and TV with the wordy name SANSUI. Everything was quite normal. Except for the fact that the furniture is quite old, and there are stickers from the PARADISE RESORT MARSA ALAM 4 * hotel in the toilet. And as I was told, the hotel had just been built. Hello Pegasus : ). I doubt they didn't know. Upon arrival at the hotel from the road, they naturally wanted to wash themselves. But nothing came out of the hot faucet. And the yellow water that poured from the cold tap, for some reason, did not want to go down the drain. My wife and I were in shock. All fears began to come true with rapid speed.

In the morning we went for breakfast. Again shock. Dirt is not only in the dining room (it cannot be called a restaurant), but the cooks are standing in dirty jackets, in dirty JEANS, at half-empty counters, and are waiting for something. After I chose a more or less clean one from stacks of plates, and taking a traditional omelet, I realized that there was nothing more to eat. The wife took tea and two rolls. Some lettuce leaves, cucumbers and tomatoes did not dare to take. I think cooks wash their hands no more often than the vegetables themselves. To tell the truth, lunch and dinner turned out to be a little better, the choice is not big, but you can choose something.
After breakfast we went to explore the territory and of course the beach with the sea. Further, only the facts. The palm trees are dried up. The pool water is dirty. Everywhere there are traces of destruction and desolation. The beach is garbage. Nobody cleans it up. And it feels like there are 40-50 people in the hotel. There are no foreigners. Some Russians. And that says something. And finally, the sea. That's what we came here for. It was then that I realized that they were all flowers. There is no pontoon. It is being "built". At this pace of construction, it will never happen. There is no other entry into the sea. Sharp corals, hedgehogs and constant wind. Having bought for $ 10 a special vehicle for moving around the corals (slippers), I plunged hoping to see at least what I saw in Sharm el-Sheikh. Bummer. Pretty scarce. I think for those who used to rest on the Black Sea it will be interesting. Well, who is not the first time on the Red Sea...
Then put up with the fact that we are being sold full d for my money....I did not put up, I found a guide Karen, who by the way was always there, and talked to him about changing the hotel. I asked to change for all the same Fantasia shores. He called somewhere and said that for $75 for a double room and $50 for a single room (there were three of us), they would move us, but only on 4.11. So I had two more days to enjoy the rest in this "wonderful" hotel. Well, having moved to FANTASIA SHORES MARSA ALAM, we began a real vacation. Rest with good cuisine, a wonderful sea, the best sea I have ever seen in Egypt. But that is another story.
