We were in Egypt for the first time, so there is nothing to compare with, but we really liked the hotel. Small, cozy, compact, quiet, ideal for families. Very smiling, helpful, friendly staff. But the best part is the sea! The cleanest, transparent, with a gorgeous reef (according to the reviews of "experienced" travelers ") and a huge number of a wide variety of fish. A decent-sized moray eel lived almost near the shore, an octopus, a stingray, and once a sea snake were seen several times.
I strongly recommend taking a camera with the underwater shooting function - you will not regret it. Unfortunately, we didn’t get one in advance, so all the pictures are only through the water. Everything else - swimming shoes (no way without them), fins, a mask - can be purchased directly at the hotel shop, and the prices there are already minimal, so "bargaining is inappropriate. " For example, a mask with a snorkel costs from $12 to $25, and slippers $8. Not far from the hotel there is a small "shopping center" with a supermarket (products, cosmetics, souvenirs) with fixed prices and several shops where you can bargain, because. the prices in them are initially called 3-4 times higher.
The hotel has an ATM that dispenses Egyptian pounds. The percentage for conversion and withdrawal of money, according to our estimates, is small (withdrawn 200 pounds).

Unfortunately, we did not manage to swim on the reef (with entry from the pier) as much as we would like, because. out of 9 days of our stay, 7 and a half hung a black flag (swimming is strictly prohibited), half a red flag (swim at your own risk) and only 1 day white (access is free).
Travel agents offer a decent list of excursions, we visited one of them - in Luxor. The trip was on a comfortable bus with air conditioning, toilet and TV. We left early in the morning (at 4 o'clock), returned in the evening (about 11). The road took 5 hours each way, but we learned and saw a lot of interesting things. By the way, an excursion to Luxor costs $110 per person.
The food was very satisfying, although perhaps not very varied. Breakfast from 7 am to 11 am, lunch from 12-30 to 3 pm, dinner from 7 pm to 11 pm. From 10 am until sunset (this is about 6 pm), there are bars on the beach and by the pool where you can drink juice, lemonade, coffee, beer, locally produced spirits (vodka, gin, whiskey, brandy, rum), eat ice cream and something to eat. Also in an Italian restaurant from 12 to 17 and from 19 to 22 you can order pizza or pasta (pasta), but we never used this, because. We left the restaurant full, if not full)))
The room has air conditioning (very noisy), TV (there are 2 channels in Russian), hair dryer, safe (you need to take the key at the reception), minibar-fridge. There are very few rooms with a sea view and you have to pay extra 12 euros per day for them. Every day, 1 bottle of 0.6 liters of drinking water per person is left, but it is practically not consumed, because. all drinks were taken in bars. By the way, my husband really liked the local beer - light and weak. Of the alcoholic drinks, gin is good, all the rest, including local wines, are very mediocre. The same can be said about juices that differ from each other almost only in color. The only exception is the hibiscus drink. From entertainment - volleyball and football on the beach, table tennis by the pool, animators conduct aqua aerobics in the pool, gymnastics and belly dancing on the beach, in the evening (at 21-30) an entertainment program in the "summer theater", from 22-30 to midnight disco. True, my husband and I never went to a disco, because. got up at 6 am, went swimming and sunbathing under the first rays of the sun, then all day on the beach and in the water with breaks for breakfast and lunch, so by 10 pm my eyes were already sticking together.

In general, we went beyond the sea and the sun and got them in full!
