Rested 14 nights 15 days at the hotel RESTA REEF RESORT 4 * Egypt, Marsa Alam, AI, Sea View / Double FRENCH BED from May 16 to May 30.2012.
The tour was booked three months in advance from Pegas Touristik and paid $950 (7600 UAH) for 2 adults. UIA airline, flight PS 4415 (Boeing 737-800). The flight went well, there on time (9.25 from Boryspil), they moved back 7 hours later (we managed to get enough sleep, have breakfast, swim in the sea and at 9.30 on the road, and the flight from Hurghada at 15.30)
The hotel deserves a 4*. Guides from Pegasus Sasha and Pavel, saw Sasha only upon arrival, he said that the connection was only by phone, it was possible with the reception through the Russian-speaking Svetlana. It suited us just fine.

WI-FI in the hotel is free of charge at the reception in the lobby, both in your hotel and in the neighboring Resta Grand Resort 5 *. You can freely go to the neighboring hotel for animation and just walk around the vast territory, food is only at your Resta Reef Resort 4 * hotel.

HOTEL - a medium-sized area, well looked after, green, herons walk on the grass in the morning.
Insects did not come across =) and we were pleased. There are five buildings in total. The three-story building is the farthest from the sea and the restaurant (our friends lived there in a family room 35 m, mosquitoes and flies flew into them)

ROOM - We were settled immediately without any additional payments, on the second floor No. 4119 in the building closest to the sea and in general a good location - close to everything, quietly calm, overlooking the sea and the neighboring hotel Iberotel Samaya 5 * across the wasteland. Room 30 m. with a large bed and a bathroom, which had a shower with a flexible hose, a bidet, a toilet bowl and a sink with a shelf, shampoo, shower gel, soap and body cream in portion packs were replenished every day, a hairdryer. The room was cleaned every day with high quality, towels were changed every other day, the bed was changed less frequently. In the room, a small fridge-bar cooled well moderately, water was replenished every day when cleaning 2 bottles of 0.6 Baraka. The air conditioner worked quietly.
FOOD - breakfast, as usual in Egypt - scrambled eggs, sausages, stewed vegetables, various cheeses and sausage, milk soup, vegetables, sweets, fruits. Yogurt was not portioned, liquid with sourness.

Lunch and dinner are more varied. Soups, rice, potatoes, be sure to pasta (after all, the hotel is Italian), meat, beef and chicken, as well as fish and rarely seafood. All this was prepared every day according to a different recipe. Three times a week in the evening grilled meat and fish. There was lasagna, vegetables and fruits - guava, watermelon, melon, apples, peaches, physalis, dates, oranges and tangerines. Usually 2 or 3 types of fruits alternated in this way. Whole cakes were not set, only sliced u200bu200bcakes, there was also baklava. Ice cream 13:30-15:30 pool bar. During the meal, the chef approached each table and asked if we liked the food, if there were any comments, wishes. I said that the tomatoes were mixed fresh with not fresh, after that they were always fresh.
There was even borsch, quite normal.
In the bar on the beach, the pleasant guy Ehab worked in the first shift, he always poured cold drinks, and the second shift was not at all pleasant, the bartender poured out all the remnants of warm drinks and almost threw them on the counter.
ALCOHOL was in the main restaurant and bars not diluted locally - Gin, tequila, ouzo, whiskey, cognac, Stella bottled beer and white and red wine.

BEACH - its coral spacious, there were always enough sunbeds. Wooden pier with hanging ladder. We were lucky with the weather, for 15 days only 4 days the pier was closed and a black flag hung. Three days of complete calm and heat, I wanted at least a little wind. Seen enough and swam along the reef. The reef to the right side closer to Coraya Bay is more colorful and lively. When the pier was closed, they swam in the coastal lagoon, at high tide the depth was about 1m. 60cm at low tide just above the knee and the corals are dried and the water temperature in the lagoon reached +35.
There were quite a lot of fish in the lagoon, one large moray eel and many small spotted moray eels, also octopus lionfish, hedgehogs and so on. Sometimes, very few, jellyfish met. So there is something to see in the lagoon too. In the sea, the water temperature was +27, the air at night was +25, and during the day the temperature changed from +28 to +38. The strength of the wind is also different and the direction of the wind often changes.
The pools are small, we never swam in them - we didn’t come for this, so I can’t say anything.

ANIMATION was rather weak - but it was! A few words in Russian and everything else is only for Italians. I liked only the dervish - a guy spinning with skirts. There was also a disco, aerobics, aqua aerobics, water polo, boccia, table tennis.

The Pegasus guide took an excursion on a yacht for $ 65 per person from Port Ghalib - Coral Gardens "Coral Garden", which included two bays of Mars Mubarak MARSA MUBARAK 11 km. 200m from our hotel. with hour swimming in the sea and Marsa Shoon bay MARSA SHOONA 17 km. from our hotel.
The instructor and attendants immediately provided assistance to those who needed it. Everyone is attentive and the tour was enjoyable.
In the bay of Mars Mubarak we saw large turtles and Dugong - Dugong detachment of sirens a little more than 3 meters in length. How much joy it was - that on the very first trip we met these beautiful and it turns out not fabulous animals, but real ones! This meeting took place from approximately 13.00 to 14.00. Then we talked with vacationers who went on this excursion after us, and all but one group met a DUGONG in the bay of Mars Mubarak!

Traveled with a group of 5 people. We also met some good people on the spot. We planned more trips to the bays, but the first week there were health problems for several people from our company. There was a temperature of 39, and more.
When we negotiated for a taxi by phone with a poorly speaking Russian Arab, he said to any bay (Marsa Mubarak or Abu Dabbab) the cost of a mini bus for 13 people was $50, but he warned that from the new year 2012, they would not let us through to Marsa Mubarak from land, and he is not responsible for this, we will wait on the road for the appointed time. We decided that since we had already seen everything we were going for, we would just rest in our hotel.
We also went to the water park Medinat Coraya Coraya.

Enjoyed the holiday!
But on my next trip and choosing a resort in Egypt, I can’t say for sure. The choice will be between Sharm El Sheikh, Makadi Bay and Marsa Alam.

I will answer all questions. Everyone has the right choice for a holiday, and unforgettable pleasant impressions from trips! ! !
