Of course, it is warmer here than in Hurghada, you can not climb out of the sea for hours. The fish are bigger, the corals are prettier and the snorkeling (which is what we were after) is amazing. But, unfortunately, this is all that can be praised...
The hotel is beautiful, small and cozy, but this causes another problem - there is nowhere to retire from the "dear" compatriots from the former Soviet Union. There are few of them here, but quite enough, even against the backdrop of loud Italians. Do not think that this is snobbery, but we really don’t want to “fat ourselves to the blue devils” or listen to “interesting” stories about illnesses and problems on vacation. In short, the whole vacation had to hide from intrusive Russian-speakers, and this is difficult in a small area: they do not climb out of the sea - they sit for hours and tell those who are caught about gangrene, decay and other delights. We have to wait for them to come out (not out of need), but to replenish the supply of drinks in the body....They catch you on the beach and a horror movie worse than Japanese horror films continues there... In the dining room they will also try to sit with you and continue to spoil your appetite there....Wonderful, isn't it? It's very difficult to pass. Attempts to change the lunch time do not work - you are being watched. It is also difficult to hide on the beach, even changing the place regularly. So if you just want to relax and unwind - don't get your hopes up.
Staff. Well…. Here, there is nothing to praise. Like in a gypsy camp. Not in the sense that they steal. Not at all... But simply at the level of "service". They will pester you, break into your room under the pretext that it is your birthday and you need to be congratulated, while you are sleeping (and if before that you were on the road for almost a day, and you were wildly tired), they do not care at all. Even if after that you come to the reception and say that you don’t need a cake in your room, the restaurant is full of them, and in general you came here so that you would not be disturbed, since you are not celebrating....Nothing will come of it. . . You will be constantly disturbed here under various pretexts. . . We were tired and did not rest after our arrival. . . Because of our air carriers, we arrived a day later than planned (on our birthday), we wanted to relax.... But… again they began to break into us at 11 at night in a crowd with a cake… without tea…. Are you weak to eat a cake without tea? By the way. Italians wear fruit. Nicely. In short, we did not manage to sleep off not on the first day upon arrival, nor on the following ones... In addition, the staff will wander under the windows, yell loudly, change chairs on the terraces, and so on and so forth....If you are a woman, they will stare impudently and mumble something like “khabibi” and something else....You won’t be able to sit on the terrace alone... as well as go to the toilet or the bar... There will be no peace... And there is no “quiet hour” here. , Just a “seething camp”.

Rooms. The bathroom hurts. There is a window right above the toilet. . . Walking along the path behind the numbers, you will hear everything that happens in the water closet (and everyone will hear you), and the smells are sometimes “romantic” too. We advise you to grab a freshener... It’s impossible not to walk under the windows of the toilet, because the paths are planned in such a way, leaving the room there is no way to avoid this... By the way, in the last days, when we walked around the hotel, it turned out that the sewer had burst near the staff building, the stench was wild . I don’t know how those who lived closer to that part of the hotel survived there....
Restaurant. Good. The menu is standard. Although fettuccine pasta, canelone chicken and small round donuts are just class. The chef walks every evening and looks at how the guests are set up. Knowing if everything is good. Once we didn’t eat something (we didn’t finish the barbecue), so it was clear how upset he was. But that was one time. The rest of the time was delicious and quite varied. There is also the opportunity to have an afternoon snack overlooking the sea: pizza, french fries, drinks on the terrace…. Watching the sunset on the sea - beauty! And it's great that the restaurant goes directly to the beach - convenient and beautiful.
Animation. There is. Italian mostly. Beach games. Gymnastics, including water in the pool. There is also a disco. In general, if you want to have fun, you can... in the morning, traces of "entertainment" in the toilet are very noticeable.
Beach: there are, as it were, 2. Standard flat with sun loungers, mushrooms and a shower. And on the hill, the so-called "for adults. " But since our people cannot read, they drag their children there. So everywhere there is "equality" and there is no peace. But there is a bar with drinks and snacks. You can go down from the beach “on the hill”, there are also sunbeds and fungi for solitude and “topless” in the crevices, so everyone stomps there... “masseurs” and other pesters roam... There will be no peace.

SEA. Story. Compared to neighboring hotels, we were lucky. You can swim in any weather. I warn you right away - there is almost always a black flag, it is very stormy and you will not be able to swim behind the pontoon. There are lagoons (baths in my opinion) that have enough space for snorkelling. And since it’s shallow, it’s not scary for weak swimmers and you can see the fish. There are a lot of young people here. In general, vacationers from the neighboring five were deprived of coral lagoons and pontoons. They went to us. Two days that there were no waves (the second day was worse), we managed to swim from the outer line of corals. It looks like in Sharm - a sheer wall down. There are plenty of fish: angels, butterflies, aratrons, flutes. There were no lionfish, but there were moray eels. One is just gigantic. There were stars and octopuses, rays. There were triggerfish and balistodes. Treanxes and something like tuna. In general - a wonderful fabulous underwater world. And very sharp corals. One man wanted to get out not through the pontoon, but directly through the line of corals to the beach of the "five". In flippers. He was thoroughly beaten by the waves and then carried away on a stretcher. So be careful. Of course, it is crowded near the pontoon stairs and people do not understand that it is necessary to release tired swimmers at the beginning, and then dig around the stairs. Well, really, they stand and lalyak, they don’t let them go out... But this is the level of culture... here, as everywhere... And nationality does not play a role...
Contingent. Italians, some Germans and Eastern Slavs. Well, scoops - there are few of them, but enough to spoil the rest. Here, as in Sharm, everyone is afraid of them. They poke their fingers like they're lepers, and there's a reason for that. They looked at us like we were weirdos - we don’t drink, we don’t act outrageously, we don’t cause problems for others, we don’t communicate with “ours”....Well, let. By the end of the holiday, they already looked at us quite normally, the “foreigners” smiled at the restaurant and on the beach... Maybe someday they will not indiscriminately think of all the “scoops” as rednecks and idiots like “tagil-rules”. Although, it is unlikely that something will change....And tours “without scoops” are becoming more and more popular with “scoops”….
How did they get there. Hard. Especially the part from the airport to the hotel. 4 hours. With stops... I was wildly seasick. On the way back, the lemon water helped (I advise), although we rode a small bus and got there faster. But, people who still drag babies on such a long journey are just maniacs. Really hard to get to. This is not Hurghada for you - 10 minutes and you are at the hotel.
In general, it is difficult to be objective. The climate and the sea here are better than in Hurghada, warmer. But the journey is long and hard. . . Beautiful. Compact… But everything else…. In general, of all the hotels where we were, this one is in the penultimate place. At the last hotel in Sharm (there is a review) in Shark Bay (Sharks Bay), where it was crowded and it was even difficult to swim - it was stormy. So decide for yourself whether the hotel is right for you, or the environment is important for you to relax too.
