Hotel ratings by criteria:
The hotel is very tricky, so I write about everything in detail. I would rate it a solid three. You can go there only because of the amazing sea and no more than $1000. It doesn't cost a lot of money.
The hotel is located between Quseir and Marsa Allam. The territory is very small, and around - the desert. We were immediately placed in a bungalow (as I later realized, in a very prestigious "neighborhood"), and our friends were placed in a building near the road. The rooms are the same, only we hear endless Italian music near the pool, and they have the noise of cars. True, it didn't bother us. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is made in a very interesting style - we appreciated it. No complaints. Cleaned up normally, however, we are not particularly fastidious, we paid little attention to this. In general, this is an Italian hotel, but now there are about half Russians there. Animation is also Italian - the worst I've ever seen! We can say that it simply does not exist. The disco is worthy of our village club, the music is appropriate, and the Italians are especially popular with their Italian music, to which they dance the hustle. In general, the animators clearly divide vacationers into people of the first and second grade (it is clear that we are the second). It is very noticeable, but we tried not to pay attention. The only thing that really strikes the imagination is the fakir show, which is held once a week. So do not count on fun and entertainment - they are not there, the hotel is very quiet.
Food - as usual in Egypt, nothing bad and nothing outstanding - normal. The most important thing is their "all" system - it is very stripped down! After 22.00 you will not even find free water, but a bottle costs 2 euros. ! Since there is nothing around for several kilometers, the hotel breaks the prices for everything shamelessly. So stock up on water throughout the day!

The beach is very large, sun loungers, umbrellas are always free. The sea is amazingly beautiful! Very rich flora and fauna. Charm just rests after that! But the entrance to the sea is on the coral plateau. To put it mildly, uncomfortable, to put it bluntly, far from safe. And if there is a strong wind, you will not enter the sea at all. I must say that the wind was always there, and for three days there were strong waves, and we were forced to sit in the lagoons. These are such pools hollowed out in a coral reef (there are only two of them). They have very warm water and sand at the bottom. There are children splashing around. Although in these bays, right at the very shore, I saw stingrays, lionfish, sea snakes and stone fish. (if anyone does not know - these are deadly poisonous animals) This is not to mention the huge number of starfish and sea urchins that stick out literally from every crack. In general, I would not advise going to this hotel with children - there adults also need to be careful. Well, if you nevertheless overcame the obstacle course and were able to go beyond the reef, it’s better to swim to the right - it’s just fantastically beautiful there! Still not far from the hotel, if you go to the right along the coast, behind the hotel under construction, there is a wild bay. All the same waves prevented me from exploring it well, but judging by what I saw, it is worth attention - it is very beautiful there.
Excursions in this hotel you can buy only from guides. We came from Mostrevel and bought a tour from them, which we regretted later. It is better to take excursions from Pegasus - cheaper and much better. So, we went on an excursion to Abu Dabab. This is a world-famous bay, on the shore of which there are several private hotels, and sea turtles live in the bay itself and sea cows come to feed. Our excursion consisted in the fact that we swam along the left bank almost to the open sea, then through the entire bay we sailed to the right, and then along it to the beach. Firstly, no one warned us that we would have to spend about an hour and a half in the water, and far from the shore. Secondly, for a large group - one instructor who did not even have a banal life buoy (and we were very far from the coast). Thirdly, he swam at such a speed that we, having no time to see anything, unsuccessfully tried to catch up with him. If someone drowned, no one would even notice! All in all, it was just terrible! Then we decided to go to this bay ourselves. It turned out to be very simple. You can take a taxi from the hotel for 15 euros round trip. Or you can go to the road near the hotel and catch a car for $ 2 per person one way. In general, from the hotel to the bay is only two kilometers, if not for the heat, you can walk. To enter the beach, you need to pay 7 - 10 dollars, depending on which hotel you enter through. You can climb through a hole in the fence for free, but you will be figured out quickly enough and you still have to pay. There is a gorgeous sandy beach in the center of the bay, and corals on the sides. Approximately in the middle of the bay, turtles live - an impressive sight! , and a little to the right, according to stories, you can see manatees. However, I didn't meet them.
I want to warn against a trip to Luxor. You will first be taken to Hurghada (this is a 4-hour journey), a large caravan of buses is assembled there and taken under guard to Luxor (another 4 hours). There you find yourself in the middle of the desert during the day, in the thick of it, and then another 8 hours of travel back. This is not for the faint of heart!
But, according to reviews, a very good excursion to the Hamata coral reserve with a dive. They say it's worth going there.

Now about health insurance. That this is crap, we already knew, but we had to make sure with all the evidence. First, I paid how many euros for a call to the “free” phone number indicated in the insurance, then I naively waited for two days for the doctor to arrive. The hotel doctor later told me that no one would come - very far from the city. Another mistake of mine - I contacted the administrator. He was very inspired, called the hospital, the hospital called the hotel doctor and he came to us. At the same time, he was forced to charge us twice as much, because part of the money went to the hospital (and, probably, the administrator also got it). And yet, upon returning home, for several months I tried to get through to the telephone numbers indicated in the insurance to reimburse the incurred expenses is absolutely unrealistic, the phone is always busy. So it’s better to go to the first-aid post right away - it’s cheaper and more efficient. Here we were very lucky - the doctor at the hotel was not a local, but an American. According to the contract, he has to work in Egypt for three months a year, and the rest of the time he lives in America. Very honest, smart and professional doctor. He even knows the names of Russian medicines, so if you see a red-haired doctor, then you are lucky - you can trust him.
