Friends! Hello! It is now the middle of November and we are flying from the autumn Borispol to the African summer. The purpose of my trip is the Marsa Alam resort in the extreme south of Egypt, THE THREE CORNERS FAYROUZ PLAZA BEACH RESORT 5 * hotel and the magical Marsa Mubarak bay with its inhabitants. The road to the hotel from Hurghada took about 3 hours, taking into account the arrival at a roadside cafe. Despite the late arrival, a late dinner was reserved for us, and from the first minutes there was a feeling that you had come to good friends and were waiting for you. Later I learned that the motto of this hotel is "Welcome Home". Looking ahead, I note that Mr. Elamari is the general manager of the hotel, very much in his place. At any time, it could be seen in the restaurant, and on the territory, and on the beach. Always interested in how things are going, if there are any questions or problems. Respect and positive.
Territory. The hotel as a whole made a favorable impression, you immediately feel that you are in a comfort zone. The buildings are mostly one-story, around the greenery, silence, comfort and relaxation.
Pools. Everything is nice and clean. Of the shortcomings, only the jacuzzi was heated. There were not many tourists, so there was enough space for everyone. Objectively, I fully understand the lack of heating of the main pool by the number of vacationers in the hotel at the time of our stay.

Beach. Nice, huge and equipped with everything, such as a bar, toilet, shower and other goodies. There is even a separate small beach for a quiet relaxing holiday. It is on the left side when looking at the sea. Sunset from the shore is not particularly comfortable, especially for children. There is nothing to do without corrals. The main entry into the sea is from a stationary pontoon with three descents. The 1st and 2nd descents into the internal lagoons, and the third to the outer reef. The downside of the inland lagoons is the relatively murky water, and the coral there is half-dead at best. But turtles and a bunch of other marine life live there too. The perfect turquoise of the Red Sea can only be seen on the outer reef. Marsa Alam is a rather windy region and quite often the possibility of swimming on the outer reef from the third descent was closed by 2 red flags at the same time. If 1 red flag hung, then swimming was allowed with some restrictions. There are always lifeguards on the pontoon, the pontoon and the beach are equipped with all the means for our safe rest. Of the shortcomings for me personally, as a tourist, this is the impregnation of the wooden flooring of the pontoon with some kind of black impregnation such as creosote. I don't recommend walking barefoot. Again, this is a matter of price and quality of rest, ship varnish and impregnation are certainly better, but many times more expensive.
Reef. Well, that's it. Normal. The break from the third descent is 15-20 meters. Every man to his own taste. Again, I compare with the reefs of Hilton and Maliki in Abu Dabab and Fantasia.
The beach towels were changed in the room. There is only one key card for the room, the second was issued when signing a separate paper with penalties in case of its loss. In any case, this was necessary given the large territory of the hotel and frequent trips to Marsa Mubarak Bay.
Wifi was only at the reception, rather weak. At best, for photos, calls and correspondence. Better in the morning when there are fewer people. I note that this was when the hotel was loaded + - 200 people out of 1000 possible tourists.
Animation is light, but it was always there and everyone could participate in it. Volleyball on the beach, boccia, aqua aerobics, Arabian night, etc. In the evening there is a constant program on the terrace. In general, the animation team made a positive impression. Russian-speaking Lilya constantly helped and advised on all issues of hotel life.
Nutrition. Generally ok and good. Was in 2 a la carte restaurants, Lebanese and Italian. In general, normal, I liked Italian more. Wine red, white, rose. Strong alcohol traditional. I would like to see a larger assortment of fruits. Fresh juices were only paid, and for some reason mango for 10 euros, although the same guides could bring it for 3 euros at that time. Well, then perhaps the logistics of the hotel is such or there is no desire to change something.

I liked the room in general. The beds were comfortable enough. Wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, safe everything is in place and everything worked. I was a little surprised by the lack of a bidet in the 5 * European level compared to the Hilton and the same Fantasy in Mars. Of the shortcomings... They asked for a scale to weigh the suitcases before leaving for the plane. At the Hilton, we had them in our room - electronic. And here at the reception desk they gave out some kind of wreck with a mechanical wheel, on which, most likely, elephants were previously weighed with an error of plus or minus 5 kilograms, judging by my weight on these scales, not to mention the weight of suitcases... In a word, they have long been needed throw it into the furnace, and for the proceeds from the sale of 2 kg of mango, buy normal scales that correspond to a European-level hotel. A significant drawback is the lack of a conventional dryer on the balcony for swimming trunks, wetsuits and other water ammunition. No, well, I took a rope and 5 clothespins just in case... They came in handy.
Cleaning. High quality and qualified.
Staff. I really liked the atmosphere in the hotel. A combination of friendliness, attentiveness and unobtrusiveness. The director is in the right place. Would I like to return to the hotel? Definitely yes. The only thing that confuses is the presence of other equally beautiful places that I would like to visit.
