General:
In general, the hotel is very pleasant, in terms of service, it probably surpasses similar ones in Hurghada and Sharm. Very helpful staff, accustomed to small tips. It is advisable to leave a tip in restaurants, then you will be remembered there.
Nutrition:
Good, tasty food, you can have lunch (without appointment) or dinner (by appointment) in two additional restaurants (and in the third only dinner) on the menu, order fish or fresh steaks. There is even Nestle ice cream - you can take it yourself.
Territory:
A wonderful volleyball court, protected from the wind by buildings, the second playground is nearby on the beach, the wind is already blowing there if the day is windy. Beautiful green area with trees in the shape of animals. There is one warm (very warm) small pool, it also has a small bar, a large pool with cold water is not for January.

You can go to the sauna in a neighboring hotel of the same group with a coupon from the reception, there are usually a lot of Germans in the sauna itself, it is small and cold, but there is a jacuzzi and a steam room, also cold.
You can walk around the territory of the whole Makadi, there are several hotels of the same plan. By the way, if you want to save money, you can stay in one of them, which many do, there will not be so many restaurants and the location is further from the beach. The beach, by the way, is sandy, you can enter the water without any problems, the bathing space is small, in the form of a cove with a stone spit, which you can swim to very quickly, so for those who like to swim far, you won’t clear up there. Divers claimed to have seen corals there, but it seems to me that this is clearly not the place where you can see the underwater world, for this it is better to go to Sharm.
Internet:
Connecting to the Internet there is expensive and inconvenient, you can get a password for access with a small limit (150 MB for free, then paid), but this access works on a network that is not visible in the room. I used a SIM card bought at the airport for internet.
Number:
The number is the most common for Egypt, do not expect something non-Egyptian from it. The furniture is old, the curtains are dusty, the light bulbs may not burn, the rugs are like that - more like a dog's. Outlets in awkward places, but there is a kettle and a free safe.
I was surprised that there was free laundry, but I never used it. Beach towels are brought directly to the room and changed. The room has bathrobes and slippers.
Accommodation and guides:

Upon arrival at the hotel, they are greeted very friendly, they explain everything and help to check in, this is done by an ordinary employee, and not by a Russian hotel guide, who (s) does nothing like that, except for making an appointment for New Year's and Christmas dinner. With questions, it is better to contact the reception directly, apparently the Russian hotel guide has no other task than organizing New Year's parties. An ordinary guide who sells excursions also, naturally, may not be aware of the intricacies of the hotel, so asking him for something other than organizing excursions is also useless.
About everything with a hotel guide:
By the way, it’s always funny for me to hear about the “ten plagues of Egypt” that await those who do not come to the introductory meeting with this guide, the fantasy is apparently limitless: what they just invent to ensure this meeting. The last time something like “the need to activate health insurance” sounded, and it was somehow subtly hinted that tourists who did not come to a meeting were subject to an increased (compared to those who came) risk of being robbed on the beach and even delaying their return flight, but how -the last time, in Turkey, a heartbreaking story sounded about how parents did not bring a baby to a meeting with a guide (although they themselves came) and then the return flight was delayed as much as 3 days, everyone was placed in a hotel for this time, and Here, a family with a baby was also placed, but with big problems, just like a miracle.
All this is not true, the hotel guide does not register insurance, tickets, accommodation and does not support tourists in case of problems. He can issue some kind of "registration" by filling out a questionnaire.
