The direction is new, we are tourists who flew to this resort in the third stream and experienced all the pros and cons of a hotel that is not ready for visiting foreign guests, because. for a long time the hotel accepted only "local" guests on a half board basis. I think everyone knows what an all inclusive system means in a 5 star hotel? In this hotel, the rules were different! Breakfast from seven in the morning to 10:30, exactly at this time they begin to politely kick you out of the restaurant)))))))) If you overslept or are not used to having breakfast early, you will go hungry until 13:00, because only at this time the pool bar opens and they start baking pizza and offer snacks - tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, olives and some local pates))))))))) True, after dinner they start grilling meat. Taking into account the fact that the nearest store is not close, they sell only fruits, chips and any other rubbish, I still advise you to go for breakfast.
Do not expect variety at lunches and dinners, the assortment is very meager, only desserts are yummy))))) Juices - diluted powders, fresh juices are paid ($ 4), ice cream is paid ($ 3). Drinks in all restaurants and bars are served EXCLUSIVELY in paper cups (please note this is a 5 star hotel)! There are 2 a la carte restaurants, one with local cuisine, I don’t remember the name, because. we couldn’t get into it, the tables were set, and the kitchen was closed, there were no visitors at all))))) The second Octopus is a seafood cuisine, in which we ordered the most expensive dish - spaghetti with lobster, they brought us a huge plate of spaghetti, under it was observed the outline of ALREADY TWO shells! when they pushed the spaghetti away, the shells turned out to be EMPTY !!!!!! )))))))))) They tried to explain to us for a long time that the meat was ground into sauce and put in spaghetti... then, after all, when they saw that we were taking photographs , agreed to cross out from the check!!!
Animation is a completely different story - two funny guys who tried to dance on stage, show tricks with cards and do at least something, and a singer who sang the same sad songs every day, after singing a couple of such songs, even the Arabs quickly dispersed by numbers ! ))))))) at 23:00 you will not see anyone on the territory, after 12 at night everything is paid. By the way, drinking water is issued at 1.5 liters per day per room, regardless of the number of people in the room, if you want more water - buy))))))))) The apogee was our departure from the hotel. 5 families with children had breakfast at 8 am and left the hotel at 12 noon (this was organized by the tour operator), 20 minutes from the airport, the plane at 16:30. We were promised on the first day of arrival that they would give out lunch boxes, because. there is no restaurant or food court at the airport (there is nothing there at all, because the airport is military), but, unfortunately, we were simply EXECUTED from the hotel, saying that we were only entitled to breakfast on the day of departure.

We were escorted, by the way, by the general manager George (if I'm not mistaken), who was called by the hotel workers. Neither the requests of the parents to give boxes at least to the children, nor the calls to the tour operator, nor the appeal to the hotel guides who promised us this helped... we ate the next time only at seven o'clock in the evening on the plane. This hotel could become a place of pilgrimage for our tourists in the summer, because. the sea, the beach and the weather are really beautiful, but! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS HOTEL! In this amazing place - Mersa Matruh - there are really good hotels, with excellent management and service, where you will have a great time, enjoying your vacation 100%!
