Stayed at this hotel from 27/03 to 10/04/11. Everything is quite decent and corresponds to the money paid (about $ 1000 / person / week). The hotel was 20-25% full at most. Therefore, the beach is half empty, there are no queues in the restaurant. Only the 1st building, the closest to the restaurant, and some bungalows were inhabited. If the hotel is fully occupied, perhaps the restaurant is cramped. The contingent is mostly British, Poles. Only after April 2.2 families arrived from Russia. The food is quite decent: like everywhere else, breakfast is monotonous; for lunch and dinner, beef, chicken, fish, and rice are a must. There were baked potatoes, steamed vegetables - broccoli, carrots, etc. On the system all inclusive - quite enough. Between lunch and dinner - you can have a bite to eat on the site near the beach, but we did not go - and that was enough. The set of vegetables is also standard - cuts of tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, there were always pickled cucumbers, eggplants, lentils, etc. , greens - spinach, mustard, green onions. Quite decent, for my taste, beer (with a nostalgic natural taste from Soviet times), as well as wine, rum. Didn't drink any other drinks. Sweets are not enough compared to Turkey, but they were enough. Moreover, mostly puddings, mousses, jelly (do not forget that the hotel belongs to the English network, and the contingent is appropriate). The waiters are friendly, as are all the staff, perhaps because there were few people. The territory is constantly sheared (a lot of greenery), cleaned, washed. Animation (in the standard sense of the word) no. The guys walked along the beach touting for aerobics and volleyball, as a rule, there were no people who wanted to (the contingent was aged). Every evening, by the pool, the boy sang songs in English to the soundtrack, sometimes accompanied by a second character playing the flute or oboe (I don’t understand).
Of course, the main advantage of the hotel is its location (closed by mountains on 3 sides) and a very large protected beach with a gentle approach, which is not common in Egypt. A great opportunity for ordinary people to just swim, without the unpleasant feeling of the abyss under their feet, as in Sharm. For the entire stay, only one day (after the next tremors in Japan, maybe because of this) there was a strong wind and a storm, on the rest of the days, while on the beach, I did not hear the noise of the oncoming wave! Surface like in a swimming pool! The water in the sea was 26-27 degrees (it seemed to me that it was less), in the pool - 20, the air - up to 30 (at least that's what they wrote on the information board). Another advantage is that all the rooms have a sea view, and the superior ones, which are more expensive than the standard (a little more), are located on the first floor and, in my opinion, are more inconvenient - there is no balcony, anyone can look into the room.
In general, the hotel is decent for its price, we liked it.
