The tour was purchased from 7 Wonders (Pegasus distributor) 16 hours before departure, hence the low price of $750 for two. According to Victoria (director of the "7 Miracles" company), this is a very profitable offer, she allegedly would have gone herself for that kind of money.

There are no complaints about the flight, I consider it quite natural to arrive late by 20 minutes. But the promised bus number 114 had to be searched for about 15 minutes. My wife and I were extremely surprised when the guide who got off the bus number 64 told us that it was for him. After that, they waited for other vacationers, after 20 minutes they left. It took about 3 hours to get to the hotel with two stops, thanks to the Pegasus guide Ramey, who did not let me fall asleep or get bored, also offered his laptop to access the Internet and play chess : )

The first impression of the hotel, starting with the barrier raised by hands, is not 4 stars : (

The only ones in the whole group put 10 dollars in their passport to get exactly the same number as everyone else. Something didn’t work for everyone, the second floor differed from the first only with a balcony instead of a terrace. On the balcony there are two plastic chairs of a frightening appearance, they did not dare to sit on them all the time. One of the two bedspreads was burnt, there were traces of plates and cups on the bedside tables, rust and fungus thrived in the bathroom, the hair dryer did not work.

From the refrigerator (I had the imprudence to open it) it stank as if something had died in it. The reception responded to the request quite quickly, after 2 hours the refrigerator was changed and the smell disappeared.

At first, the food pleased (I just wanted to eat! ), after 2-3 days I just got tired (yesterday's and morning vegetables, cheese and sausage in salads for lunch and dinner, especially began to annoy my eyes), by the end of the trip it was already disgusting.
Breakfasts are identical, for lunch and dinner various variations of fish, beef and chicken, some more successful, some less so. Soups are about 50/50: half disgusting, half edible. Fresh vegetables only for breakfast, fresh fruits are scarce and quickly sold out. The assortment of pastries is not very interesting, only a couple of times there were really delicious cakes and buns. An experiment was carried out - when a girl goes for tea, she is given clean new cups without chips; )

The beach is ordinary, without frills, a lot of garbage, sunbeds are old. To the depth and reefs go 300-400 meters, to the right of the hotel you can normally swim without slippers (and the depth is good), and to the left beautiful reefs begin after the first 50-100 meters. I went diving with a mask and snorkel, I really liked it. I don’t advise you to walk on reefs and hedgehogs without slippers, it’s more expensive for yourself.

Excursions: do not be fooled by the beliefs of Pegasus guides (and other "feeding" in the hotel offices), buy from local 2-3 times cheaper.

For Jerusalem, Pegasus wanted a 175+10 visa, as a result, we went for 100 per person, including visas (initially, there was an agreement for 90, then something changed at customs, Comrade Ibrahim asked us to add ten each). We rode jeeps with locals in the colored canyon - up to 6 people for 90 dollars (for Pegasus - 55 per person). Scuba diving - $45 per person (Pegasus 100 with lunch included). Even a trip to the city at the reception costs 2 dollars per person, and we went with the same carrier (Mansour) for a dollar, with a practically unlimited duration of the trip.

Guide from Pegasus (Hakeem Rizk) is a different story. To all complaints about the quality of the hotel he answered "What did you want at this price?
", we didn’t hear any useful advice from him when we didn’t buy excursions from him, he threatened that they wouldn’t let us out of the hotel + there would be problems with the police, he also persuaded the reception to delay our lunch packages (despite the fact that 6 people, including us, ordered them for day) we had to delay the minibus for an additional 5 minutes until we finally knocked out our food. Hiding behind the fact that he was supposedly responsible for our safety, he demanded papers from us about buying an excursion, was sent to the well-known 3 letters and more than once (approached me as to the conditional leader of our small group 5 times).

Impressions of the rest of the staff are much better. Bartenders, DJs, cafeteria, reception and beach workers all left a good impression. The reception nevertheless resolved the issues that arose, twice when our room was "forgotten" to clean, they organized the necessary shampoo, soap, toilet paper, towels.
Regarding the "dollar for cleaning" - none of our group left any money, everyone was cleaned every day without any problems. We once left 5 pounds, the quality of cleaning has not changed from this. After that they did not leave, in "gratitude" they received 2 days without cleaning, once they did not insist, the second they talked with the receptionist and the room was cleaned despite the late time (8-9 pm).

About souvenirs: it is natural that it is better to buy them in the city, while be prepared to bargain like crazy. Experienced people advised to knock down the original price by 4 times, then negotiate 3 times cheaper than the original one. In some places lower than 2 times they do not knock down, especially near the hotel, where prices are relatively higher compared to the city. I don’t advise buying anything from the Bedouins on the beach: the quality is lower, the prices are the same, it’s difficult to change later.
About the local currency: on the first day, I advise you to change 100-200 dollars (well, or how much you plan to spend) for pounds (there is an ATM in the hotel lobby for this, it issues banknotes from 5 to 200 pounds inclusive). The exchange rate is 1 dollar = 5.7 pounds, at the reception and in all stores they count 5 each, hence the gain is at least 14% (this does not count rounding prices when converting to dollars and losses on change). Even at Duty Free and the souvenir shop at the airport, it's better to pay in pounds, verified. The only ones who basically ask for only dollars are the organizers of all kinds of excursions. You can save dollars for them, although if you wish, you can negotiate with them for pounds at the official rate if you push yourself.

In Israel - a lot of impressions, but very tiring. Would not advise taking small children, pregnant women, elderly people. We crossed the border for almost 4 hours, according to the information of "colleagues" it is still very little, sometimes even 6-8 hours.
The return trip takes about half an hour to an hour. In the Dead Sea, people decided to swim after Jerusalem, so there was little time and it was already dark. Shops with cosmetics near MM are very expensive, but I think that the efficiency is worth it. We bought only dirt for ourselves, 5 bucks for a package for one person for 1 use.

By communication: since roaming is expensive, it makes sense to get a local SIM card (at least to communicate with the driver, local travel companies, you can also with each other). The store wanted $5 for it (you also have to register it with your documents), and the cheerful, ever-stoned driver Mansur gave it to me for free. Conclusion - you need to learn English. Internet in the hotel - 30 pounds per hour, in the city - 3 pounds. So it's cheaper to spend a dollar on a trip if you plan to be active online for a long time. I was not interested in prices and conditions for mobile Internet, since I did not take a laptop with me.
In addition to Elaria, there are two more hotels in Nuweiba: 3 * Regina (I don’t recommend it, judging by the reviews of locals and ours there are even worse conditions) and 5 * Hilton (prices are around 100 bucks per room per night, this is with All Inclusive, there are always no places must be booked in advance). There are also cheap campsites for savage tourists, met by German tourists who spoke well of them, who walked half of Egypt on foot.

Conclusions: given that they “started moving” late, while they did not have experience and time, they went very well. You could go to a better hotel for less / comparable money, or you could get even more (we met a couple who paid $ 1.800 for a "honeymoon" lasting 7 days in the same hotel, our condolences to them). Many vacationers have been promised accommodation in Sharm, and not in the village, which is Nuweiba. In total, 10.000 hryvnias were spent for two people for everything for 7 days, including travel to Boryspil and back. Next time we will be wiser, more prudent and more legible : )
