rested in Elaria at the end of August. it so happened that I had to go alone and in a hurry. I read reviews on the Internet - it seems tolerable, I'm not picky, I like a relaxing holiday. but when I arrived at the hotel, I noticed the absence of people, it was morning, wait and see, I thought. for 20 Baku I was settled on the 2nd floor overlooking the sea. I immediately went to the beach, I think I’ll get some sleep and warm up. I didn’t manage to sleep, because there wasn’t a soul on the beach, it was scary, I shuddered from every noise and voices. Nearby, Bedouins constantly walked on camels, drove past in a jeep, offered souvenirs or pokumar. the bar does not work on the beach, the sunbeds are old rusty, the mattresses are generally terribly shabby, the umbrellas are really strong and beautiful. when I arrived at the hotel there were only 4 Russians, 7-8 Czechs, 1 Arab family and a couple of local Arabs. it's all. and 4 Russians left the next day. I was shocked! I wanted to urgently change the hotel and I would have done it, but in the evening, to my great happiness, 2 guys (a guy and a girl) arrived from Moscow. it was a lot of fun with them and somehow all the fears and troubles with plumbing, etc. were forgotten. about the equipment of the hotel - everything is falling apart, from the door handle to the tiles in the pool. bleach is poured into the pool every evening, it stings your eyes. one day we had almost completely the day of a plumber-electrician, the reception at the sight of us then immediately asked: "technician? " there is no animation in the hotel at all, no Russian channels, no iron, no doctor either, no discos, respectively, a gym with 3 exercise machines was opened only at our request. we ourselves were animators and for others too)) they feed the same way, but you won’t die of hunger, I liked the soups, all the drinks were in disposable cups. good thing no one got hurt. the beach is normal, but there is no sea, because 200-300 meters are shallow. went to the right opposite the UN base to swim and further to the Hilton. having nothing to do, we went to nuweiba ourselves in a taxi of the 70th year of release, we thought that the machine would fall apart. there is nothing to do in nuweiba, 5-6 shops, one dirty street, a step to the side - slums. went to the mountains - 6 km there + 6 km back, through the desert with skeletons, garbage, etc. in general, we had fun as best we could. the hotel has several owners, therefore, apparently, it is so terrible and is used as a transit for group tours of Egypt - to spend the night for 1 night. conclusion: in no case should you go alone, but with a company of very picky people you can, but only for a cheap price, and not like me for big money. By the way, I forgot to mention the hotel guide Michael, because. I saw him only once and then for a few seconds. he doesn’t even live in a hotel, he lives in the Hilton and in general he doesn’t give a damn about everyone, he doesn’t even really offer excursions, if you need something - call him on his cell, stunned, star!
