1st time in Egypt....
1. At the airport, do not buy a visa from a tour operator for $27 - buy it at a bank for $25
2. We lived in a standard room (3rd floor, the elevator did not always work). A little worn, cracks... but everything worked fine, the water freezes in the freezer. Numbers from 01 to 35 - sea view, until 23-00 you can hear the disco....There were no insects

3. The food is quite varied (you don’t need to take 4-5 side dishes at once on the 1st day... ). In a cafe on the beach for lunch, there is always a grill, in a restaurant for dinner often (kebab and shawarma). DISADVANTAGES: very small and tasteless fruits, some kind of stewed fish (not fried), an ugly bar in the restaurant (and there is no ice) - I went to the Cofee-shop (a bar next to the entrance to the restaurant) - there is always ice, the portions are more generous... Drinks are standard for Egypt (the factory is the only one in the country : )). In my opinion, the quality in the bar at the reception is slightly better... You can use your own mugs (thermo mug) - in the order of things. We drank a cooler a couple of times, without any consequences, but you can safely fill up a bottle of gas. Compared to Crete (see Scaleta Beach review) - almost like home....
4. The territory is large, green, you can walk around the neighboring 5 *
5. The beach is long and wide, 2 bars on the beach. The sea is sandy, shallow (especially at low tide) - SUPER for children, there are corals in islands, there are enough fish (but more diverse in Makadi), they eat out of hand. There were no turtles this time ( searched early in the morning: ().
DISADVANTAGES: the situation with the "booking" of sunbeds is not entirely clear - from time to time someone arranges a "revolution" - in the morning all things from the sunbeds lie in a pile at the point of issue of towels. take an old bright thing - tie it on an umbrella and put it on a sunbed
6. Excursions were taken from the tour operator, there is a tour desk on the alley of shops (to the left of the hotel, in front of Rivera Plaza) + they walk along the beach.
In Luxor, the price turned out to be the same, on a yacht it is more expensive, to the Bedouins it is cheaper. Moving around the country is quite safe, after several. km there are roadblocks (police and soldiers)
7. In general, everything is decent in the hotel (and nearby), without harassment; very arrogant (and aggressive) merchants in Luxor
8. As always, AnexTUR distinguished itself - on the last evening, all operators confirmed the departure by 18-00, and we ran, called until 22-00.
9. Learn several phrases in Arabic, they are very impressive: they gave me an excellent room at no extra charge for a couple of words of welcome in Arabic....
