This is not the first time in Egypt, but I am writing a review of the holiday for the first time.
Rested at Sol Y Mar Paradise (Safaga) for the first time. The hotel rested from 16.03-23.03. In 2013, there were few tourists (Germans, Russians, Ukrainians), so there was enough space both on the beach and in the restaurant. Attention was paid to the cleanliness of the hotel: in the morning and before sunset the area was quickly cleaned. In the room we really changed the bed every day and gave clean towels (payment $ 1 per day). We lived on the ground floor in a 2-storey bungalow №244 (surcharge $ 20 for check-in). The rooms are small, the toilet is tiny, the furniture is old, there are no floor mats (I have never seen such a small 4 * room !! ). The contents of the refrigerator-paid. At the entrance to the room is 1 bottle of 1.5 liters of water. In the sea, the event is very shallow, which is well suited for children. The beach is large, the beach has a shower (without warm water), foot shower, hot and cold drinking water.
We were surprised that juices (fresh) are not made, but only cocktails ($ 3) and ice cream ($ 1) are offered on the beach. The food is varied: but there is no wide choice, ie if there is fish (1 species), meat (1 species), chicken (1 species) and for lunch soup (1 species) every day. You definitely will not stay hungry. I was disappointed in the baking (this is the first time !!! ). I didn't like anything to my taste (even the bread had an unpleasant taste). Of the fruits were: dates, melons, guavas, oranges, apples, grays, bananas. Okr emo I want to thank the animators! . The hotel has animation, but our vacationers were passive. The animators tried their best. The disco was also held with a very small number of people. In general, I liked the rest. I recommend this hotel for a quiet and family vacation.
