We chose this hotel quite by accident and at the last moment and immediately booked it, the next day it was already in the foot. We flew with Orenair, there were no delays and delays with departures, everything went like clockwork. All documents were received at the airport, the representative of Pegasus appeared on time. Arriving, we quickly passed control and got our luggage, and literally 20 minutes later we were already on our way to the hotel. On the way, we stopped at three hotels, and were glad that we did not choose them.
We arrived at the hotel at about 6 in the morning, we were afraid that they would only check in at 12. But at the reception they said to wait 2-3 hours to prepare the rooms, although they could immediately check into the second building without balconies, we naturally didn’t want to go there. They also offered to go to have breakfast, but we thought that then we would have to pay and went to explore the territory. As our guide at the hotel later told us, you can eat there before and after check-out from the hotel, and you don’t have to pay for anything. They don’t wear bracelets there, since everyone has the same ultra-ol power system. Two hours passed, we approached the reception, we said that we would like 3.5 or 6 buildings, they didn’t invest money in passports, and of course they answered that there were no available rooms. We started to worry, having read the reviews, we thought that the 7th and 8th buildings were too far away. By the way, they practically did not speak Russian at the reception, and knowledge of English accelerated the process. As a result, we see that he writes building 7, room 7139, we thought that this was also the first floor, but they explained to us that this was the second. There was nothing to do, they didn’t argue and persuade for a long time and drove an electric car to the room. There we found 2 small beds, and we needed 1 large one. We immediately returned to the reception and changed to another room in the same building with a large bed. It turned out that all our fears were not justified, the room was excellent with a beautiful view of the sea and not far at all. Moreover, throughout the rest it was very quiet and calm, the neighbors were not heard, there was no one under the windows. There are swimming pools in front of the third and fifth buildings, and it is very crowded there, so you can’t sit on the balcony in silence, at least it seemed that way to us.
There were no fruit plates and slippers in the room, but we were too tired and did not run to the reception again and complain. After a walk and lunch, we returned to the room and saw fruit on the table. They are apparently brought after 12, as this is the official check-in time. There was a card hanging on the door handle where you could indicate all the problems in the room and hang it out the door, we just wrote there that there were no slippers and the next day they brought them to us. So no need to run and hysteria over every little thing, just relax and have fun.

The territory of the hotel is large, the architecture is impressive, but there are a lot of stairs and climbs, I don’t know how they coped with wheelchairs. But for us it was not a burden. There is enough greenery and everything looks harmonious. There are three swimming pools and a whole outdoor jacuzzi complex. The beach is huge, but the sunbeds are almost all occupied from the side of the distant 6th and 5th buildings, on the other hand, where the amphitheater is always free, but we couldn’t swim there, as the corals go all the way, there really is not enough pantone. There are also 2 lagoons fenced off from the sea, it is good to swim there when the sea is not calm. We usually lay until lunch near the lagoon, and then went to the very end towards the Oberoi hotel, there is a good entrance to the sea and amazing corals.
The animation is sluggish, but mostly for Russians, once I went to morning exercises, it sucks, I wanted to play volleyball, the Russian girl animator barely gathered a team, played for 10 minutes and everyone went off to drink beer. For darts, too, everyone was enough for 5 minutes. Once we went to a show in the amphitheater, after two dances we left. only one black guy dances there, apparently he puts on dances, all the rest are just dancers, it’s funny and not interesting to watch. In the evening, pleasant live music is played on the piano in the lobby, and on the street near the fan bar they sing live, it's nice to sit and drink wine there, but the songs are almost the same every day. It was a huge plus for us that you can safely come to the fan bar and play billiards or table tennis. But the most important thing is the tennis court. We played with the coach (for free), not knowing how to play at all, in the second lesson everything worked out. hookah there is also free and there you can play backgammon. In general, the evenings were not bored.
The food is delicious, no one got poisoned. There is always a grill, the queue is only at the beginning, then you come up and calmly take it. And even when we returned from an excursion at 10 pm, everything was enough. We went to all the a la carte restaurants. After Italian and fish we went to finish our meal in the main restaurant. In the Brazilian overeat, a lot of meat, but the dessert was so-so. There were a lot of people at breakfast in the main restaurant, but then they also opened an Italian one where everything was the same, but there was practically no one there, you could have a quiet breakfast.
We went on two excursions from Pegasus: Luxor and El Gouna. We went to Luxor on a not very comfortable bus, the seats were too close. The driver was good, they didn’t drive, even sometimes it seemed that we were driving slowly. The accompanying guide on the bus told a lot of interesting things about the modern life of the Egyptians, it is a pity that he did not have a license to work in Luxor itself, where we came across a terrible guide. He spoke Russian very poorly, it was necessary to parse every word, so the information was poorly absorbed. There was very little time in the Karnak temple, after the dry story of the guide, we were given 40 minutes to take a walk ourselves, this was naturally not enough. Then we went to have lunch on the banks of the Nile, the food was not edible, even sweets. During lunch, the guides invited a shopkeeper, you could order a cartouche from him. Then they were taken to the alabaster factory, where they probably spent more time than in the temple of Karnak. And after again a quick look at the tombs and the temple, Hatshepsut was taken to a papyrus factory. In general, we went to Luxor for show.

El Gouna, on the contrary, caused only positive emotions, sailing on a yacht on the sea, sailed along the channels of El Gouna, visited their small aquarium, saw and learned about many inhabitants of the sea. On the way back fishing and snorkeling.
In general, the holiday was a success. And I really liked the hotel. Really one of the best in hurghada. By the way, the mayor of Hurghada dined there, and that says a lot.
