We go to Egypt almost every autumn, always, until this year in Sharm El Sheikh.
during this time, all the living creatures of the Red Sea were isolated. Hurghada has never been considered - we love the reefs.
This year they proposed Azur Citadel (in Hurghada). Somehow they believed the manager (she herself was in this hotel).
It's nice when a person is a professional - she told everything.
The hotel is beautiful: architecture, really a fortress)). It is quite large in tiers, all rooms overlook the sea. A bus constantly runs around the territory.
We were given a room on the topmost tier (we knew that there was nothing to be afraid of, thanks to Irina). The view is amazing: a huge terrace, down a cascade of houses immersed in flowers and the sea and the sun.

The room at the reception immediately asked for a room with stone decoration (again, thanks to "Turmol")). The walls in the room are without plaster, finished with stone - shell rock, such a cozy cave, baseboards and floor - large tiles. Bathroom, separate room - washbasin, mirror , everything is as always, a toilet and in this bathroom there is a separate room with a glass hinged door - a shower room (not a shower, but a shower room, 5-7 people can easily fit), multi-level watering cans) - beauty. We had a terrace (wrote above), meters 7, armchairs / table.
Cleaning is daily and good.
Food, the usual Egyptian, no more and no less. BUT, near the main restaurant there is a cafe "Mozart" - be sure to come in and order. Strudel and coffee (for the first time in Egypt they brew good coffee) are impeccable. There was a precipitate when tourists come in and order all the desserts, they tried it and left. Why? Are you the last day at the hotel? Try one thing today, another tomorrow. . . The service is trying and very friendly. They didn’t leave tips anywhere, but by the end of the vacation, the waiters at Mozart, as soon as we entered, voiced my future order (espresso and americano - they always took these drinks).
The sea is a great reef, just one of the best. It stretched along the entire beach, there is a current, so we went into the sea in the bay area (in the center of the lower part of the hotel) and we were smoothly carried along the reef, then we raised our eyes - it's time to swim to the shore - the umbrellas / beach end and went out right behind the hotel's beach. We rinsed (there are cheap ones) and went to our trestle bed in the warm sun. The reef is very colorful, the depth is great.
There are special fenced lagoons for very young children, and if you want a little deeper (above the knee), then the children's entrance (sand and shallow, just behind the beach, if you look at the hotel from the sea on the right side.
I liked the hotel very much, so do not be afraid of Hurghada and there are decent hotels with an excellent reef.
