Rested in this hotel from May 22 to June 2.2010. Rested 2 families with children 7 years old. For the first time in Egypt. The hotel is very beautiful, in reality it is much more beautiful than in the photo. We lived in building 5 on the second floor in rooms 5130 and 5132 - directly opposite the "children's lagoon". We really wanted to live in this building. The rooms are decent, but already a little shabby, in some places the locks in the doors jammed, but this did not bother us . . But still I put 4 for it. There are 2 separate beds in the room. The bed for the child was brought only on the trail. day at our request. I read in the reviews that a very uncomfortable shower (not removable). So the shower is not in the ceiling, but on the wall. The jet is on the side... everything is convenient. Recently I was in China, and so there the shower was on the ceiling - this is very inconvenient... They cleaned the room every day, played beautiful swans, replenished the minibar daily (Pepsi, Mirinda, Sprite and miniralka). There is a kettle and tea and coffee in the room.
The area is very beautiful. Lots of greenery and flowers. It was sometimes hard to walk, especially in the morning for breakfast and from breakfast to our lagoon... Hot . .
I read in the reviews that the Arabs do not treat Russians very well... In fact, the staff turned out to be very friendly and sociable. Always greeted, smiled and talked.

True, we fed them a little, giving a dollar each to the cleaner, bartenders, waiter, who served us almost always, because. we sat at his table. And when one day it seemed to us that the table was occupied, he began to wave his hands to us, call us to him... What is good about one waiter, he already knows who drinks what and quickly brings drinks and constantly monitors whether the glasses are empty.
We visited 3 Ala carte restaurants, Italian - so-so, fish - catering... and 2 times Brazilian. I liked the Brazilian one. But when we were in it for the first time, we were served at the highest level, and the second time on June 1 there was already an influx of vacationers and the waiters could not cope (and did not receive a tip). By the way, we were lucky that we arrived with the children on May 22, having torn them from school a little earlier . . We had a great rest until May 28... And then the people went: Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, Serbs, Arabs and all with children. On June 2, there weren’t enough plates for dinner! ! We were so happy to leave and leave a good impression of the hotel. . . Because I can imagine how much the quality of service and the quality of food will deteriorate with so many holidaymakers.
As for the food in the main restaurant Citadel and dining in Harbor... The food is normal, but I love spaghetti, and the Egyptians do not know how to cook them... I was pleased with all kinds of fresh salads . . Very tasty. My husband thinks that the food was very tasty... You need to be careful with milkshakes on the beach - they spoil... My child constantly ran to the toilet after them and even when they stopped taking them. I also give 4 stars for food.
Children's animation is very good, the disco is like everywhere else, Russian girls, Maya and Marina. There is also karaoke on Thursdays. Also cool. .
Sea snakes and baby serpents were found in the sea in the lagoon adjacent to the children's lagoon. Snakes up to 1 meter live under stones. . Terrible!! ! It was very scary after that to swim. And they appear with the tide, in the evenings, after 17 hours. Be careful.
And the sea itself is a fairy tale. We swam with a mask and snorkel, very beautiful fish, crabs, hedgehogs, stars....everything is beautiful.

Bottom line, the rest went well, but I would not want to be in this hotel from June 1. And in general, I won’t go to Egypt anymore, although the Egyptians and the beautiful sea were pleasantly surprised. The climate is not very. . . at first it was windy, then calm, then winds again, and on June 1 HEAT set in. But everyone else - husband, brother, his wife, children - liked everything!
