We rested in this hotel in January 2019, the operator Tez-tour.

I liked the hotel, a very interesting area, cascading down to the sea and beaches. In total, the beach strip is 1.7 km, there are lagoons for swimming, a natural pool with sea water, several heated pools, in ours, the water temperature was +27. Internet was available throughout the beach. there are three bars on the beach. I would like to note the quality of drinks in beach bars: liqueurs, vermouths are not diluted, mojitos on order (any number of ingredients and a minimum of ice... ) and the bartender prepares a cocktail for you with a smile. Coffee is beyond praise, it is coffee, not powder, and latte and cappuccino, every whim. I have seen few hotels in Egypt with natural coffee in bars, not to mention the beach.
In general, the food at the hotel is excellent, the cooks are trying. For breakfast, several types of fresh juices, a variety of fruits, pastries (donuts with nutella... harmful, but very tasty! ) And much more. There is always a grill for lunch: fish or meat, dinner is just a fairy tale: several types of fish, seafood, meat, chicken... all this is cooked in front of you and immediately sorted out by hungry tourists. At the beginning there is a small queue, but by the middle of dinner everything is free. During the day, you can enjoy coffee and cakes at the waterfront café or at the several bars and patisserie in the main building. In the evening, try cocktails, each bar has its own. And most importantly, the good attitude of the staff. No one is rude, does not beg for money, well done!
In winter, of course, the hotel is very windy, it is comfortable to sunbathe on the beach, hiding behind a fence. You can swim in the sea from any lagoon, admission is free, even if a red flag is hanging, but lovers of warm water will not be comfortable. The underwater world near the hotel is rich, a huge turtle swam right into the port bay, there are moray eels, octopuses, a lot of lionfish (you have to be careful), etc. If you relax in the Citadel in spring or autumn, the impressions of the rest will intensify, I advise you.
We had room 3020, this is the most convenient location, close to restaurants and in the center of the hotel, we looked at other options, returned again to this room.
There is a gym on site, for the first time in our practice, the whole family went in for sports (winter).
The hotel is undergoing a partial renovation, it interfered a little, they blocked the passage on the embankment, but I think everything has already been repaired. We were satisfied with the rest, we will definitely return to the Citadel, but in the fall!
