We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, there were no welcome drinks, the room was promised by 13-30, since I arrived very cold and with a temperature for the first time such a planned expectation led to a stupor, I just wanted to crawl to bed and go to bed, and not explore the territory. To my shame, lounging in the hall on the couch, as it seemed to me in a secluded corner, I was simply knocked out, cheerful Germans scurried around, who looked at "this sneezing object" with curiosity. As a result, after the husband handed $ 20 at the reception, we were promised to try + - to settle by 10-30. So, in principle, it turned out that we and the couple who arrived with us at the hotel were settled in the 3rd building on the 1st floor.
Number: I liked the location of the building and even the fact that the room is on the 1st floor with a large terrace and a "funny checkered ceiling", from which you can always find a shadow on the terrace. Clean, but the room is a little tired, but not killed. They brought their own router. There was a slightly broken faucet in the shower, but the next day, without having time to tell anyone anything, the cleaner called the plumber in our absence. Tips were left, they were taken away, it was clean and friendly in our direction. One fine day, the air conditioner in the corridor just started to rain downpour, after calling the reception and getting ready to wait a long time, due to the size of the hotel, after 5 minutes there was a master who fixed everything, washed the floor after himself! and ran to the cleaner for a clean towel, which I threw on the floor to collect water. The view when you take a shower and look at the sea is divine! Restaurant: in the evening you can go for free to 2 a la carte (Tangin and Italian, Citadel, "dining room" international and Asian.
The plus or minus menu is the same, some dishes may differ with a small number of dishes themselves, everything is quite tasty, again we saw hotels in Sharm, where the food is richer in choice and taste, but here everything is also very good. more "chamber" and quiet atmosphere and least of all people, no one ran under the nose with plates back and forth. In principle, they were satisfied with the waiters, if it suddenly seemed that for a long time they just walked and took everything themselves, at least a fork or a napkin, or pour themselves some wine. By the way, the wine is red, very good for Egyptian hotels. We didn’t drink beer, cocktails, rosé wine seemed worse to me. They were satisfied with the Tanzhin restaurant, although they saw how many left during the dinner, perhaps the cuisine is not for everyone, but the dishes are selected in such a way as to please many.

In the Italian a la carte, I liked the place where they laid the table, and also left more than full. Large portions on the menu, also delicious. Although, again, there were comrades who picked up pizzas for themselves, who did not eat them and went to eat at another restaurant. In our opinion, it is also a good difference from other hotels, almost everywhere on the territory you can drink good coffee, and not only in the Columbus cafe, although in the morning and afternoon, when there are fewer visitors, coffee and other coffee drinks were better than in the sold-out evening, when the waiters just couldn't keep up. In the evening, there are also more than 5 different types of places to sit: a coffee shop, a hookah bar, a beer bar, a pastry shop, both inside and outside, and in silence, and with live music. In the evening, on the embankment there was an atmosphere of some Mediterranean town, such as Chania or Heraklion, or even Genoa.
We had an attentive and friendly attitude, regardless of whether we left a tip in each case or not, although the attitude towards the Germans was even better and it caught our eye, but we were not annoyed. And the percentage of those who spoke Russian or Ukrainian was so minimal, in principle, this was also a decisive factor in the trip to the hotel, which could not but rejoice throughout the entire vacation. By the way, we were pleased with the Germans, who were well dressed, many were smart, even nice and elegant, but not because it is often blurry masses in it is not clear what they are wearing, regardless of the time of day.
You can sing laudatory odes about the territory for a long time, but the photos will be later. The territory is cleaned, watered, repaired, windows are washed! the slightest flaws, the sun lounger has broken, the carpenter is already running, who immediately repairs everything. The question is, is there a hotel in Egypt with more bewitching views and is it worth looking further? Beach and sea: first we went to the wild beach behind Neptune, swam there, then sunbathed in the lagoon. Of course, the lagoons are artificial and the reef is dead, but there are a lot of different fish, for those who are afraid of the depth or cannot swim, you can walk along the bottom and watch or just swim. The very fact of "just swimming" without a mask for me in Egypt is some kind of nonsense, how can you swim without seeing that there is a sharp reef or hedgehogs below you, but here it turned out to be possible and even a pleasant pastime.
With a mask, they tried to swim out of the lagoon beyond the green lighthouse to the left, but because of the strong waves and wind, it really didn’t work out. The reef itself along the way is average in beauty for fish, again in comparison. We heard that you still need to swim outside and there is real beauty, but it didn’t work out. Probably still have to go back and see the reef to the end and go to the a la carte Buddha on the beach. Of the obvious disadvantages, my health let me down and I probably didn’t manage to enjoy all the delights of the rest, the lack of napkins on the tables, sometimes toothpicks (not in all restaurants) in normal access, well, on the street, where it’s windy, understandably, but indoors? Well, maybe it would not hurt to dry clean the sofa in the room, peel off the coffee table on the terrace and clean the plumbing joints to whiteness in the bathroom. But in fact, these are minor flaws.

And I was also pleasantly surprised by the weather in September; Although, again, this wind also interfered with many. We were satisfied with our vacation, except that it turned out to be very short.
