I'll start with the fact that I got to the Citadel by accident. There was a transfer of the tour from March to the end of August. The hotel was in Sharm, in the calmest bay of Rues. But THAT gave the go-ahead to change the hotel and again began the agony of choice. With a small surcharge, we stopped at the Citadel.
I read the reviews very carefully and learned all the details about the hotel. And he did not disappoint me.
The hotel is chic! The views are amazing! Everywhere the sea! The wind is constantly blowing, the heat is not annoying.
Arrived early in the morning, at 7 o'clock were at the hotel. They said that they would check in no earlier than 14. The bracelets were put on immediately and sent for breakfast. After that, we took our swimwear and went to the beach so as not to waste time. We got a room in building 6. We called the reception and asked for slippers. The next morning the cleaner brought both slippers and bathrobes.

The room is spacious, huge balcony. The most important thing is the view. Lie in bed and look at the sea!
Water and cola in the mini bar. Replenished every day. Tea, coffee, milk powder, sugar were also replenished. They left a dollar, but they didn’t weave swans : ) but in addition to the usual tubes in the bathroom, they left us a washcloth, toothpaste and brushes, a machine tool and shaving gel, solid soap. Towels were changed every day.
Food. I don’t know what was before Covid, how they fed the hotel guests, but even now there were no problems with food. Everything is tasty and edible. Every day fish, meat (chicken, quail, beef, lamb), there were squids. I am indifferent to sweets, so the assortment was not interested. Breakfast was melon juice. Of the fruits were present: apples, guava, grapes, melon, bananas. Restaurants have coffee machines. Very tasty hot chocolate.
Booked in a la carte restaurants. Liked Moroccan.
From alcohol - drank beer and cocktails. All normal quality. Strong alcohol was not taken.
If you like to swim and watch the reef, then the Citadel has something to see. We sailed to the reef both from the royal lagoon and from the artificial one. It is best to go down near the green buoy, there is a ladder, and swim out of the lagoon into the sea. It's wonderful! And what dawns!
There are three pools, but we did not swim in them, only in the sea. From 5 in the morning until 18, until it started to get dark, with breaks for meals, I was at sea.
The territory is large, you have to walk a lot. For me, it didn't bother me at all. It is strange that people come here and then write that this is a minus of the hotel.

Honestly, I really liked everything, there were no cons for me at the hotel. The only thing that irritated was our compatriots, or rather the behavior of some. About how sunbeds are occupied, only the lazy did not write. They can throw slippers from the night, like busy, and then appear on the beach for dinner. They also roll up a scandal if someone lay down to sunbathe on "their" sunbed. On the beach, some manage to get drunk to a state of complete blackout. If we take into account that earlier mainly Europe rested here, then I think the staff from the Slavs is in a slight shock.
And what a beautiful hotel in the evening and at night!
Vacation went by very quickly. I didn’t manage to do a lot of things, I didn’t sunbathe on all the beaches : ), I didn’t try all the dishes : ), I didn’t go to the animation (I went to bed early), so, Citadel, wait for me to visit you again, I will come with great pleasure! I really want to come back here!!! !
