Hello! We rested at the Citadel Azur Resort 5 * hotel from 07/31/2011 to 08/07/2011, a company of five people. The hotel is super, for Egypt it really is a 5 VIP, a very large territory, I can put everything for the service - 10!! ! The only thing I can’t call a minus, but what was missing was a pier and more active animation, it will be a little boring for young people, since basically the entire contingent is family, respectively, the disco was empty, but on Saturdays the beach disco was excellent - from small to old, everyone danced!!!
There is a lot of food and delicious, in the main restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner is a themed dinner every day, they cook food either Asian, Turkish, or French cuisine. The only thing that was missing was fruit, I would like more, there was no watermelon at all, although it was just the season, and the rest were all chopped, not whole. Although those who were here for the 2nd time said that last year the food was generally good, there were plenty of fruits and not only fruits... Maybe because of the political situation they decided to save money, not expecting that there would be a lot of people, this is not clear , but I emphasize that this is a small drawback, since the food was very much and delicious!! ! I’ll also note a la carte restaurants, we visited all 3 in a week, especially the fish one, but I’m just a seafood lover, so there was a stomach feast for me - squid, shrimp, fish of many varieties, all very tasty, even salted salmon was, and also sushi, but they are so-so... In the fourth paid fish restaurant they cook crabs and lobsters, dinner per person will cost about 70-80 USD. Pasta in Italian is excellent, lasagna is ordinary, but, and teramisu is beyond praise, we met the manager and the chef, so they even let us taste teramisu without an appointment, the waiters are also great smarties, as I said before - the service is at a very high level !! ! They didn’t take tips from us, they were even offended, they made a conclusion for themselves, probably because the girls, since they saw what they took from men, the only thing they took with great pleasure was our vodka, but they didn’t even hide it, but on the contrary boasted, for them it was the best tip
For alcohol, I note that those who want to get drunk, no problem... they pour as much as they like and anything, the amount is unmeasured! Drinks are not diluted, I especially notice the bartender Sam, he is generally a master of his craft, he works at a bar on a distant beach, seeing that the client is just coming to him, he is already preparing what you like, so when you come up your Mahito, rum, gin , beer is already waiting for you along with his smile! You won’t expect this from other bartenders, and cocktails are made longer and not so tasty…

The rooms are just a fairy tale, with large terraces, at first we made up our minds that they settled us in building 5, because we wanted to be closer to the main buildings in 4 or 3, but as it turned out later, it was something, a terrace with access to the sea, the view is awesome, on the contrary we have a great lagoon for swimming, from other buildings they came here, and walking turned out to be very close and even useful after meals  we drove by bus, which travels around the hotel only 3 times, it was better on foot! And the bellboy, the main one in our building, was generally smart, we had two neighboring rooms, so he brought us to the rooms what was given for the luxury rooms - sweets, beer, juices, every wish was fulfilled, on the last day when we were evicted from the room at 12, he settled us exactly in the luxury one, so that we could take a shower and get together normally, since we had a flight in the evening and I’ll notice this even without a tip !! ! But I note that they are trying to settle the bulk in the 2nd complex, it has no balconies, above the port, and the rooms there are much smaller, they put the money back in the passport, they also refused vodka, for that they didn’t lie, they said that they would give good numbers, did so, i. e. insist that you want with a balcony, don't be rude, just smile and ask By the way, they rested at our hotel for 2 weeks at the Hilton, they rated it as not very good, they said the food was 2+ and everyone was bad about alcohol. They also visited many hotels and not only in Egypt, so they said that Citadel Azur Resort 5 * VIP level hotel!
In the hotel, the bulk of the Russians, all the staff speaks Russian, very rarely anyone does not understand... They will always help in everything, they will even dance and sing, especially without tension, but from the heart 
Summing up, I will say frankly, I will advise this hotel to everyone, I myself always prefer to try something new, but I will return here with pleasure if possible!
