We rested at the hotel from 30.03. 2013. to 06.04. 2013. We were in Egypt 4 times, everything somehow ended up in Sharm El Sheikh. Only five were chosen. Didn't write reviews. There was nothing to write about. There are more negatives than positives, namely, either the room is bad (you had to knock out a normal one for a fee), then the staff is frostbitten, then there are not enough seats in the restaurant, then towels will be stolen, then you wait three days to unlock the safe, then drunk Polish tourists will bomb the bar and territory, then for drinks I had to run to shops outside the hotel. This time we decided to go to Hurghada hotel Citadel Azur Grand Resort 5 *. The hotel was chosen based on reviews, and not on the recommendation of tour operators, as it was before. The hotel is located away from other hotels. Therefore, on the way from the airport it took longer to go. We stopped at five hotels along the way. Ours was sixth. Initially booked a deluxe room. We were settled in it in the 7th building. Room 7034. At first it seemed to us far away and my wife asked at the reception to change the room, but a woman from Ukraine approached us and dissuaded us from doing this. In this hotel, the De Luxe rooms are located further away and rightly so, as we understood later. The room was huge, as was the balcony. Everything in the room worked. A bus runs around the territory and even its absence was not a problem. It could have been cut. Breakfast and dinner in one restaurant near the Lobby bar. Lunch at a restaurant by the sea. The choice of food is sufficient. You won't be hungry. The staff is friendly and attentive. If in the hotels where we used to rest, the staff served the Germans, the British and the French in the first place, then in this hotel I did not notice the difference. The staff treated everyone kindly. In general, we did not feel like third-class people. Bars are a different story. The choice is simply the richest. The cocktails are wonderful. Even in some hotels in Turkey, the choice is smaller. And everything is free. After dinner, a party gathers in the Lobby bar. Namely, not young people, but middle-aged people. A woman pianist plays works by Schubert and Mozart on the piano. It's nice to sit in the evening with a glass of cognac and chat to the sounds of classical music. Those who like energetic music please go down to the bar on the terrace and enjoy the vocals. The guys are just great at hitting hits without any problems. The disco starts at 23.00. If you stay too long in the bar, then the animators will politely offer you to continue your rest at the disco. In this hotel, no one interferes with each other. Everyone will find something to their liking. The hotel has 2 boats and a catamaran. For a fee, you can ride a boat or go fishing. This is nonsense for Egypt. After you catch the fish, it will be cooked for you. Take alcohol with you. The captain also likes to drink. From 16:00 to 18:00 you can take part in a desert quad bike safari. I went with my son for 3 days in a row. It was great. The animators are wonderful guys. Almost everyone speaks Russian. Usually I just watched, but this time I took part in different programs and it was great. The area is just great. It feels like you are in some kind of medieval castle. The beach is wonderful with lagoons. No kilometer pantones. Ice cream is awesome in any quantity. The room was cleaned daily. The manager was constantly asking if everything suits us. I once said that I like to drink coffee in the morning, so a minute later I had a whole pack of coffee stickers in my room. April 5th was my son's birthday. Upon arrival from the beach, we found a cake and a greeting card from the hotel in the room. The boy was pleased. Even though we didn't warn anyone. I went with my family to Luxor for a tour. Dry rations struck. They just could not eat everything and gave it to beggars in Luxor. We left for the airport at 06.00 and again they gave us huge rations. Come to this hotel and you will want to return to it again. Therefore, I can safely say - this hotel is the best!
