Just returned from vacation and all the impressions about the hotel are very, very fresh....Well, first things first. I rested with my parents and a child, respectively: 3 adults and 1 child, this hotel implies such accommodation, therefore our choice fell on it, although objectively we wanted a completely different hotel... The day before, we had read bad reviews and were ready for the worst, BUT... even this, which I will write about below, was not expected. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours (this is just a word) + 4.5 hours of flight + 1 hour to get to the hotel (it is the last one until everyone is taken away), so we arrived at the hotel already tired, though after filling out standard papers at the reception and issuing room keys, we were fed in the main restaurant.
The room had 1 large bed, a folding bed and an ARENA in which a sheet was laid and a pillow lay, and all this was at the level of the plinth (not a bed !! ! for a child, but an arena, who has children, I think there is no need to explain what to play in you can, but you can’t sleep). The view from the room, of course, to the construction site, but we were ready for this and this fact did not upset us at all, since we are going to rest not in order to sit in the room, but just to sleep in it. Our indignation knew no bounds. We turned to our guide Mahmud (tour operator TEZ tour) and he assured that tomorrow he would definitely change the room to the best one, BUT... (again, but : -))) they changed the room for us, it had 2 beds and brought 2 folding beds, in general, they practically changed only the floor from the 1st to the 2nd, to be honest, they didn’t arrange a showdown anymore, after all, they came to rest...
The territory of the hotel is quite beautiful and large. Beautiful large pools, in the center of the pools there are bars, which you can either swim up to or get on the bridge, there is a playground with slides and swings.
On the 2nd day, I got very poisoned (I think from local alcohol, the day before I drank 2 glasses of local whiskey, diluting with cola), I had a temperature and all the other consequences of poisoning, I suffered for almost a day, I drank the pills that I brought with me, but since this didn’t help, I had to go to the doctor (ATTENTION: to get free medical help, before going to him, contact the insurer’s consultant by phone indicated in the insurance policy, otherwise you will have to pay for the treatment yourself and even when providing checks to the insurance company, a big question Are you reimbursed for expenses? They put me on a drip, made 2 injections and gave me some pills, and a day later I was already a full-fledged vacationer, adhering to a not very strict diet, since this is almost impossible to do. The food at the hotel is good and varied, delicious pastries. BUT… and here there are some disadvantages, which at the end of the holiday became very annoying, CONSTANTLY there were not enough plates, cups and free tables, several times, without waiting for SLOW waiters, she herself removed the dirty dishes on the next table and brought forks… Dear colleagues, I want to remind you, that this hotel is 5*. Then I want to tell you how the rooms are cleaned: THIS IS SIMPLY HORRIBLE!! ! For several days I left $ 1 each and....In 10 days the floors were not washed even once, around the sink they were not wiped, and the toilet was not even swept at all. The toilet paper ran out, I had to look for the boy in charge of cleaning for about an hour to take a roll of paper, though after the arranged "acceleration" by the end of the holiday we had already 6 rolls in the room )) (apparently in this way he mocked us). Towels are not changed. I decided to go for the trick, threw them on the floor, when, after cleaning, I returned to the room, then 2 towels were missing. I guess the boy thought, why don't 4 people dry themselves with 2 towels, otherwise life can seem like paradise. Bed linen was changed only 2 times and then when asked. Believe me, this is not my first time in Egypt, there was no such cleaning even when I was resting in 4 *.
Sunbeds on the beach had to be taken in the morning, at 6-7 o'clock, otherwise after breakfast you can "fly" past the sea, as well as past the pool. The beach is very good, cleaned every day, the sand is fine, beauty for a child! SEA JUST SUPER!! ! The hotel is located in a bay, which is very comfortable (there are no winds, as in the open sea). There are a lot of corals and a variety of fish in the sea (you don’t have to go to any “Paradise Islands”), everything is in your hotel. And very clean water! The entrance to the sea is rocky, but I went in without special shoes (although I had one) and did not feel any discomfort. And what a beautiful sunset on the beach, the sun is hiding right behind the mountains, which are located along the bay. BUT... a bunch of flies fly on the beach, they just get it, it's some kind of nightmare, they don't let you lie down quietly.
By the way, for the kids, the hotel has children's water slides, many of them are great to frolic, there are also two adults, not big slides, I rode the adult slides with my child.
And in the end, I want to note the excellent work of our guides. Many thanks to Mahmoud and Amr, well done guys. On the day of departure, as expected, we handed over the keys to the room at 12 noon (departure was at 15-30), then we went to the beach, had lunch, and after that Mahmoud agreed at the reception and we were given the keys to the room on the 1st floor absolutely free of charge, where we calmly washed and dressed.
Some conclusions:
PLUSES - sea, beach, hotel area, guides.
CONS - room cleaning, constant shortage of dishes and tables in the restaurant, flies on the beach, LOCAL ALCOHOL
