We rested in Egypt for the fourth time, and all because of my mother's great love for the Red Sea : ) We had a good rest when choosing a hotel, the priority was a good entrance to the sea and the presence of a children's pool with slides, because we went with children.
We didn’t have a very convenient round-trip flight, we arrived in Egypt at 20 o’clock local time (flying from Kazan for 5 hours), while customs, things waited for all the tourists (especially those who are in Egypt for the first time - they hang for a long time at the airport, because they don’t know that they need to dynamically queue for passport control : )), while we were taken to the hotel (we drove for more than an hour - a distance of 25 km, but tourists were brought to 6 or 7 hotels along the way, our hotel was the last ), in general, they arrived at the hotel after 11 pm local time, and in Moscow it was already one in the morning, of course, there were no children. We had already read about the rooms overlooking the construction site, but we decided not to give money, figs with this view from the window, we didn’t come to look at the sea in the room!
They gave us 2 rooms in the third building on the ground floor (we were 4 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 1). The children were sworn to bring beds (cot and baby) within 15 minutes. Naturally, no one in 15 minutes. didn’t bring anything, we decided not to wait and went to a nightly dinner, because everyone was hungry (the plane lunch was very light and long ago : )) In general, the beds were brought to us about an hour after 3 reminders and we went to bed around 2 am local time (it’s better not to think about Moscow time : ) We were also ready for mosquitoes, we took a raptor with us. By the way, instead of a crib, a one-year-old child was also brought a cot, but we decided to leave it all for tomorrow. To be honest, the first impression was not very good. The next day, my husband achieved (without money) a change of room - it was not very comfortable for me to sleep on the first floor with the "balcony" door open, and we did not leave the air conditioner on at night because of the child.

In addition, we wanted two rooms next to each other (parents flew with us). They gave us rooms on the third floor, the view was also on the construction site and a side view of the sea. By the way, about construction. Now there is no work being done there, the building has already been built, so there was no noise and dust. On the third floor, the room was better, the bed was one large and the child was brought a type of cradle. Everything worked, there was even a tap for washing feet in the shower, under which we washed our daughter. In general, I’ll write the rest without emotions, as it is, because for someone the lack of a change of underwear every day is a tragedy like “vacation failed”, but for someone it doesn’t matter. Room cleaning consisted of making the bed, throwing out garbage, paper, towels. Once I gave him a dollar, after that he made all sorts of crocodile elephants for 3 days to the delight of the children. Did he change the sheets, like no, at least that he didn’t change every day - that’s for sure. He also swept the floors rather than washed them, but it was not dirty. It is clear that it is not sterile,
there is sand. We felt the problem with sunbeds on the 3rd day, because a lot of tourists arrived (by the way, most vacationers are Russians and Ukrainians, there are a few Germans and Slovaks, French and Italians quite a bit). As my dad said, coming to the beach at 6:30 to take a sunbed - we will never get up before the Ural boys, because they have minus 4 hours from local time. Therefore, the entire first line was engaged at 5 in the morning. But we were fine in the third row. After 9 am there were no sunbeds and people lay on towels. But this is now the "high" season, I think by December there will be much less people. About animation. I can only say about the children's, because we did not go to evening shows, after a whole day of swimming and outdoor activities with the children, I went to bed after the children's disco at 9 pm : ) For children there is a mini club 2 times a day. My eldest used to go there until she met the girls on the beach. There is a children's playground with swings and a pool with slides.
which the Tez-tour gave us. Usually such tours are more expensive, but we had a special offer and the ultra was at the price of a regular all-inclusive. And so - it's still razvodilovo. We had like 5 benefits - we could drink imported drinks, get a haircut once for free, one free massage for 30 minutes, one time in the sauna for 30 minutes. and one wash. All once per person and imported drinks as much as you want. But their imported whiskey magically ended the next day, like there was the last half a bottle : ))) Get a haircut, of course, no one went to the Arab either. The massage took only 15 minutes, and only when we complained to TEZU, they began to do as much as 22 minutes! : ))) We never got to the sauna - who wants to sit there during the day, if there are almost the same degrees outside : ) and in the evening they don’t let you in for free. well, it didn’t work out with washing either - the animator told me that they also wash their personal belongings, because it’s not clear what chemicals to pour in the hotel,
to wash off all the stains from the tablecloths, so that later you won’t recognize your clothes. True, my husband was not satisfied with the excuse "the whiskey ran out", he picked up Mahmud and Amr (guides from TEZTUR), and then the hotel director apologized and brought a bottle of whiskey to our rooms and arranged for us a dinner almost by candlelight with a special menu : ) They even gave something like borscht : ))) In general, there are jambs in the hotel, but if you strain the guides (this is their job), issues are resolved. Do not try to swear right away, because everything can be resolved in a civilized manner. Well, about food. There is a lot of food, the fruits were not very ripe (I'm not a fan of fruits, so it didn't touch me). There is an assortment of food and more even in Egypt, but I did not see the hungry : ) Minus - the queue. For example, one person fried pancakes at breakfast, and there are many lovers of carbohydrates, and since my eldest child didn’t want to eat anything other than pancakes for breakfast, I honestly stood in line for 20 minutes.

We usually came to eat at 7:30 in the morning and the queue for omelets and pancakes was always 10-12 people. The same with tables, cups, plates. They are not enough for a large number of October tourists. True, at the end of our stay it got better - they opened a second restaurant, near the "Russian" third building. We began to go there for breakfast, the only thing is that they didn’t bake pancakes there, so we had to go to another restaurant for them in a 20-minute queue : ))) And another minus of the hotel is that there are few staff (at least while we were there). In other places where we have been before, the waiters brought drinks, they offered fresh juices for 2 bucks to those who wished, there were also a lot of waiters on the beach, and we didn’t take the sunbeds ourselves - they all moved. But you won’t get fat here - while you run back and forth for food, forks, cups, juices, beer, etc. - you will burn 300 calories : ))) By the way, there is a gym with exercise equipment, for free, but they only let you in sneakers,
slippers for the sea do not work : ))) Uff, how much I wrote in total : ))) Summary: our goal was to swim in the sea, sunbathe and so that the children would have a good time. Everyone came satisfied with the rest and the little things in life like they didn’t give me a fork, they didn’t leave any sediment with anyone. If you need a youth party or good service, when the staff guesses all your desires - you should go to another hotel. In our experience, good service in German hotels, but there is no Russian animation and you need to know at least a little English, because the staff does not understand Russian. And if you and your kids want to spend a week or two under the sun and you are ready to serve yourself in some way - I think you will like it : )
