We recently returned to winter from summer (we rested from 12/24/10 to 01/04/11), the impressions are fresh, the most favorable, I must say, so I hasten to share with those who are going on vacation and who are interested. The hotel is very decent (there is something to compare - in Egypt for the 4th time), very rational, everything is thought out by management to the smallest detail. Maybe some zest-chips are missing a little, for everything I would put a solid “4+”. Suitable for family holidays, holidays with children (my wife and I celebrated our “honeymoon” and it’s hard to imagine a better one), it would be boring for young people, and there are few of them, mostly couples, groups, families. Although the animation is at the proper level, and not with a pine forest like in many hotels, but professional animation "Turbo", with well-placed aerobics, games, etc. , and it is not intrusive at all. The beach strip is quite long, so if you want to be with animation - you go to the beginning of the beach, if you want silence - to the end. The beach is very clean, although if you are a fan of sleeping up to 11 sunbeds, it may not be enough, as they come to the beach from neighboring hotels, where there is no beach due to the built pier, so the advice is to go for breakfast, throw towels, take sunbeds. On the beach, by the way, there is a well-coordinated team of staff in white and gray T-shirts with the inscription “recreation”, they will find out where you would like to lie and they themselves will bring you sunbeds and mattresses. The food is good - a large selection of second courses and salads, fruits depend on the season. The rooms are spacious, clean, they clean every day, the bed every three days, maybe earlier, if you ask the floor manager, it is advisable to leave a tip, the cleaning will be cleaner. In the minibar every day cola, fanta, juices, muffins. The most unfortunate rooms of the 3rd building are odd - a view of the construction site, even (we lived in this and they are a little larger by the way) - the sea and the pool, but the advantage is that the 3rd is far from the disco and quiet in the evening, plus it adjoins round-the-clock mini-restaurant where you can have a snack at any time. The most win-win - the 2nd building, the windows of all rooms overlook the pool and the sea. Live music plays in the evening, animation in a large restaurant. There are five a la carte restaurants (Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Russian, European), an appointment for the day, we went to Chinese - we did not regret it. In principle, perhaps everything. The New Year was very worthy (of course, as always, the rapped Muscovites did not like everything, as well as the hotel) elegantly decorated and filled with drinks and fruits tables, a good show program, although it is impossible to launch ours at the same time - there was, as always, a slight crush for the best places.
Brief summary: the main advantage of the resort is the presence of a promenade, very beautiful both day and night, not yet burdened with shops and shops, as in Hurghada, along which it is very pleasant to walk or jog. In about 20 minutes, at a very leisurely pace, you will come to the park with many beautiful illuminated fountains (they start working after 19-30). Once a week (check with your hotel guide) there are dances and a fakir show. I think that in five years it will be the most beautiful and elite place in all of Egypt.
