Ожидали лучшего... Expected better...

We rested with my family in Pyramis in August 2012. We were in Egypt 1 time, probably we will not go there soon. I must say right away that a year ago we rested in Turkey, in an excellent 5-star hotel, so we probably compared it with that vacation. Well, firstly, they settled us 3 times, since the air conditioner does not work in the room, then near the disco (and we are with three children). I advise: in the first case, if you have children, do not settle. There's a disco in the bar nearby, horror.... Then they gave us a good room.....but of course we compared with a Turkish hotel: heaven and earth!! ! everything is wrong - the furniture is old, the floors in the restaurant have never been washed at all, the tablecloths are full of holes, and the sheets in the rooms too. . . but many may say that these are all trifles))) Well, in principle, yes, these are trifles. The food is quite tasty, but again, in Turkey, this was served to us for dinner !! ! There is no such variety here! Baking is awesome, fruits are cut (melon, watermelon, apples, pears), most likely according to the season. I expected better from the sea. There is no open sea, as I used to. Backwater. . . well, someone doesn’t care, but I was dropped off))))) as if I were on a lake.... In general, on the first day there was a terrible disappointment !! ! where we arrived. . . then, of course, you get used to everything, you start to like everything, but still comparing with Turkey - everything is cooler there! Muscovites told us that they were in 20 hotels in Hurghada - and this was the best, then I understood everything.... Turkey and Egypt cannot be compared. . . different rest. So if you are deliberately going to Egypt, then this hotel is probably not bad.... there are some discos, a terrible semblance of animation, but at a level sooooo low. We had a big company, 8 people, entertained ourselves, but if you go alone or together, you can die of boredom)))) When we went on excursions, it became more interesting. My husband really liked the rest in Egypt, I didn’t really like it. Poor, dirty. . . In general, to each his own))) Have a good rest!
