Last year we chose a hotel for rest based on reviews on the Internet for a very long time. We quickly realized that there were no ideal ones, but mostly people wrote enthusiastically about this one, with the exception of a few minuses...
We flew from St. Petersburg, the departure was on schedule, the meeting with Pegasus was well organized. The hotel turned out to be the farthest from Hurghada, we drove for 40 minutes until people were taken to everyone else, but the bus is quite comfortable, most importantly with air conditioning. We were in Hurghada for the first time, so spent time on the road, as if on an excursion.
Arrived very quickly, no complaints.
The room was very cozy. Then they began to discover the very disadvantages that they knew about in advance and were ready.

The furniture is really old (but very comfortable), the water from the shower compartment flows onto the bathroom floor (very annoying for the first days, then they got used to it), the safe did not work (they told the reception about this, the master came quickly, but never did it), the view to the construction site (later it turned out that it was great).
Now more about the important thing. . . The view of the construction site really put us on our guard. People often write about it in reviews and they are very frightening. For some reason, they don’t explain that this building has not been built for many years and, in fact, these are romantic ruins illuminated in the evening. The windows overlooking this side guarantee you a peaceful rest during the day and in the evening, unlike a noisy pool and bars-restaurants-discotheques.
The food is very varied, the pastries are amazing, the assortment of fruits is sufficient. Anyway, by the end of the holiday, everything gets boring and you choose food that looks like homemade, no frills. I do not recommend eating ready-made salads, a lot of chopped vegetables, do it yourself. Do not look for beef in meat it’s a camel. You might get used to the taste, but my husband and I got poisoned so that we thought for a day - that’s the end (take pills from home). And chicken and fish, especially from a restaurant on the street, are very good. Try Egyptian milk - a forgotten taste of childhood. In the afternoon, in a bar on the beach, shawarma and french fries are also very tasty. Visit a la carte restaurants if possible, in the morning at 9 you have to queue in a round-the-clock bar. very clean, the tablecloths are noticeably not new. But believe me, this will not spoil your mood. To be honest, after a few days we tried to get hungry with all our might, but we could not.
But cleaning the room is how lucky... The first week we were very pleased, the modest boy cleaned cleanly and, most importantly, imperceptibly, for us. While we were on the beach, the room was completely licked and it seemed that there would be no problems here. A day later we left a dollar each and did it from the heart, in return we received architectural compositions from towels. Everything changed in one day - we changed the cleaner. I must say that this was really a disaster that you don’t expect. bottles of cola from the minibar, the floor stuck to the rest of the rest. He didn’t change the towels, but simply folded the wet ones. But the worst thing is that he did all this without fail when we were in the room or came from the beach in order to be able to beg for money. We we were forced to somehow change our schedule just out of principle, but he literally guarded whenever we came, he cleaned the neighboring rooms and as soon as he saw that we were walking along the corridor, he appeared. It all ended with the last days we hung a sign -not a demon rest and refused cleaning.

In fact, the main thing why people go to this hotel is coral reefs, and for any level of swimmers. You can admire them both at a knee-deep depth and 20 meters under water. how this bay is, you just need to tune in to rest and then after a while you, like me now, will hardly remember what was bad in this hotel...
