We rested in October 2017. The hotel was chosen by price, we were 12 times in Egypt, so we knew what to look for in the reviews, and, accordingly, we understood where we were going.
The hotel is very small even by the standards of Turkey, ie. by the standards of Egypt - the territory is tiny. But at the same time very green, clean, well-groomed. The entrance to the sea, like almost everywhere in Egypt, is along a pontoon, the length is 300 meters.
The food is close to European (without Egyptian spices), a rather meager choice, but we have never been hungry. Alcohol is bad, if you want to celebrate something - take your own (either in luggage or from duty free).
Rooms are ok, clean well. Animation works, various competitions and games near the pool all day long, in the evening - a show program, in general, for those who like to have fun with animation, this opportunity is provided.
Of the pluses - there are no locals and representatives of neighboring countries among the vacationers, mostly Germans and Poles, there were Ukrainians, Belarusians, Armenians, Irish and Koreans, but the latter do not sit in the hotel - they go on excursions.
Separately, I want to add about excursions - we went to Luxor (from Safaga to go there 60 km closer than from Hurghada) We were picked up from the hotel at 6 in the morning, taken to the hotel at 21:00, there was a Russian-speaking guide with a great sense of humor, in general spent the whole day on the positive and not a bit tired. The only thing I want to note is that if you go to Luxor, then take an excursion with a boat trip along the Nile - it really relieves fatigue from the desert, and on the banana farm they treat you to very tasty fruits (we had mangoes, oranges, bananas, guava - very different in taste and juiciness from those that were in the hotel).
In general, the hotel is suitable for picky tourists, for those who are not fond of diving and fish (there are no fish and reefs on the hotel's beach! ), Well, in my opinion, children will be bored there.
