I will say right away that this is not my first vacation in Egypt, I always choose different hotels so as not to get hung up. I took this hotel, because the national money was released "to free float". I took what was at that time. Hotel Imperial is actually connected with two more hotels in Safaga Shams and Shams. One large beach, which on one side ends with a pier, and on the other side is a kiting company (boarding with a sail). By the way, 2 hours of skiing is 130 c. u. e. Horror. So the hotel. We traveled as a group of three (2+1 children 9 years old). We were seated right away even though we arrived around 10 am. The room was large, 30 meters, which pleased. The bed was delivered almost immediately. We lived on the 3rd floor. The view from the window was on the spa center (where there is a jacuzzi) and partly on the sea. Rooms ending 01.02, 03. . . these are rooms with a jacuzzi on the terrace, but these baths, judging by the state, are not working. The room was cleaned badly. Judging by the amount of dust under the bed (it was already rolling in shreds), the cleaning consisted in a partial change of linen and a change of 1-2 tents. Cosmetics in the bathroom were put only at the beginning, the rest of the times I had to catch the cleaner and ask for at least shampoo. Cleaning mostly took place at an extremely inconvenient time - after dinner, when you don’t want to go to the beach under the active sun at all. When checking in, there were 2 bottles of water (0.5 each) in the refrigerator, then we collected water from the coolers that are on each floor, in the restaurant and on the beach at the bar. The opinion that the water there smells like bleach was not true. Apparently, those who wrote this did not drink water that smelled of bleach)). The refrigerator did not work upon check in, the drain in the bathroom was clogged, the doors to the balcony were not locked. The refrigerator was vital for me, because I had a number of medicines that cannot be kept warm. I went to the reception for three days in a row, at the same time I turned to the guys from Anex, who claimed that all our problems were their problems. From the third time, when my patience ran out, as my appearance indicated, they immediately gave me some kind of "Uncle Vanya", who stupidly changed the refrigerator for me. When he began to break through the sewerage in the bathroom with his hands (without a plunger), we sent him out of the room. The doors to the balcony were repaired by the husband himself. There are two elevators, but we tried to walk to the third floor, because I don’t know if they worked all the time. Teritorriya hotel more or less, there is a playground, a couple of pools. But the water in them is so cold that almost no one swam there, except perhaps "walruses". The toilet near the pool is rarely cleaned, there was often no toilet paper, and the liquid soap dispenser never worked. The foot baths near the beach didn't work either. At the beginning, she worked alone, but with the top she broke. We used the shower on the beach or the pool, so as not to carry sand into the room. The beach itself is more or less clean, but I managed to hurt myself with some kind of chip in the sand. The sunbeds are old but mostly functional. The Arabs pester with offers to go somewhere on an excursion, braid hair, get a massage, etc. By the way, with Anex, we went to Hurghada for free. It makes no sense to pick up anything in the stores they offer. Expensive. If you walk through the territory of the Safaga Shams hotel and go out into the street through their reception, then to the left and right there at the beginning there are several shops, and if you go even further - there is like their market. Many (relatively many) shops. We bought mangoes there for 2.5 - 3 dollars per kg. Spices took and hibiscus. Bargain. They are still crooks. The animation is not bad. Volleyball, exercises (min. 15), boccia, aerobics, aqua aerobics. Children - kids club twice a day. Mini disco in the evening. The little one liked it. Of the entertainment for adults - sometimes shows, "dead" billiards, table tennis with dead rackets, although there have always been balls. SPA-center. He was outside our window. The jacuzzi turned on at 5pm. The hum interfered, but if you close the window, you can't hear it. But I have never seen anyone swim there. Nice gym, free. Restaurant. Well, that's a separate conversation. I advise everyone to take cups and spoons with them from home. This is an eternal problem. Cups are collected from the tables immediately, such as they are washed and distributed to the next vacationers. Why "type wash"? I took a cup and began to brew tea, and there was apparently milk from the previous user. The menu is poor. I fully support the phrase from the reviews I read earlier "do not stay hungry, " but. . . rice, pasta, sometimes potatoes. Chicken, beef and white fish (if it says fish curry, this is a spicy dish). Everything. Preparation is monotonous. Chicken soup is delicious (it's always at lunch) and some soup puree. Once it was edible, the second time - klester. Salads of 8-10 types, but I don’t eat them, so I won’t rate them. Ofoschi - cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet peppers, bitter peppers, cabbage, lettuce. It's all chopped up. For dinner, you can take it in its entirety, without even standing in line to the chef who makes you a salad. The morning at the restaurant begins with a queue for an omelette, which the chef fries in three dead pans at once. There are also forms with pancakes and croissants. If you come a little later - do not count on pancakes. Delicious cheese (only not hard, but like curd mass). Sausage is not edible, but it is in all hotels. Desserts - small biscuits, smeared with either jam or chocolate, with various toppings, jelly and panna cotta. From fruits - finely chopped apples, oranges, some kind of fruit, I don’t remember the name. And once there were bananas. The owner of the restaurant (it is impossible not to notice him, he is a thin Arab, round-shouldered in glasses, and the second glasses of the original design dangle on his chest) personally, almost the entire dinner courts the halls where people eat, at the beginning I thought that the person must be shortcomings in his restaurant looking for a better job. . . But the chest opened easier, from catching vacationers who handed over the numbers and, accordingly, bracelets were cut off from them. I myself have witnessed two such cases. It is understandable if the transfer is in the evening - you need to dine somewhere. Advice. The room must be handed over before 12-00. But the cards for which beach towels are issued do not need to be handed in before 12, and the bracelet, as I was tired, is cut off after the full surrender of everything. So at least "rolled" our neighbors. I can't speak objectively about the decency of the staff. I forgot my cool hat in the restaurant, they never returned it to me. Maybe one of the vacationers "attached her legs". I feel sorry for her. Here's another moment. The guy from "Anex" at the meeting where all new arrivals are called, said that after we rent the room, we can for 45 minutes. ask for a room in order to take a shower and change clothes - this is a type of bonus from Anex. Bullshit. I tried at the reception to take such a number, they told me: "Shower on the beach. " Well, that's how it is. Conclusion. The hotel is a five, even a solid four falls short. Yes, the entry into the sea is good, but go 80 meters so that the water is above the waist. Small corals with fish. Sunbeds on the beach must be occupied until 6 am. By the way, at 6 kopecks they show a wonderful dawn on the sea))). Everything else is one continuous minus (although no - the gym is still in the black))). I understand - price - quality. But in order to humanly treat problems, wash the toilet, fix the taps and stock up on dishes, I think it's not about money, but about the attitude to this business. Good luck to all. In conclusion - no matter what - the rest is cool, even with such costs)))
