I was alone with a one year old child. I think that this hotel is just perfect for such a trip. In short: a very compact location (from the room to the restaurant, to the beach no more than 100 meters, the stroller brought with it lay in the room for nine days), a sandy beach made of real fine sand with a gentle entrance to the sea, warm in at the end of October, water, quality food, very friendly attitude of the staff (perhaps due to the fact that I was with a child, and the Egyptians are not indifferent to children, in addition, at least a modest knowledge of English helps a lot).
Now more. We arrived around 10pm. We were settled at no extra charge immediately on the second floor overlooking the pool and the sea. The main restaurant was already closed, but at the reception they suggested that from 10.30 and all night you can eat in the coffee shop. In general, all these days, almost all the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only exception, perhaps, was the representative of Tez-tour, an extremely irritable local gentleman, but, thank God, we didn’t need almost anything from him.
We lived according to the Moscow daily routine. The 2 hour time difference made it perfect. Rise at half past five - at six and immediately to the beach - the daily temperature difference is very small and at this time it is already possible to sunbathe. Daytime sleep fell on the hottest time. From about 11 to 2 the sun is very angry and at this time, if you were on the beach, you mostly hid in the shade. The sea is shallow with a very gentle entrance. If you want to swim, then it can be annoying - you need to walk seventy meters to a depth. We had other priorities: playing with the water in the surf and feeding the fish, so everything is fine. Closer to the buoys there is a small coral, near which you can watch the fish standing at the bottom. It was very successful for us, because my daughter did not trust all the boats she brought with her and bought in local shops, preferring to be in the water either with her feet on the bottom or with her father in her arms. We did not use the pool - we swam in the sea. I can only say that the staff "vacuumed" it every evening. At five, the sun sets, and, barely having endured until dinner, at eight the child was already sleeping without hind legs. Because of this, children's discos were missed - they start at eight. I watched them from the balcony - well done animators, get along well with children. If your child is between two and twelve, I think he will like it.

As for food. For adults, everything is quite tasty and varied. The main concerns were about nutrition for the child. After reading rather conflicting reviews, I was fairly reinsured: half of the suitcase was crammed with jars and boxes of food for the little one. Half of the cans came back, because the dishes of the local restaurant were quite successful in constructing a complete and safe diet. For breakfast: egg yolk, yogurt, fruits taken from dinner. At lunch and dinner at the "health corner" you can find mashed soups, steamed fish, boiled vegetables. Daughter really liked the local pastries. Bananas, apples, persimmons, guava, grapes, melons, dates were given from fruits (dates cannot be eaten - they have no taste and are wooden, but the child happily gnawed them). From her brought baby, she ate only canned meat and fish and at first yogurt, until I checked the safety of the locals on myself.
Of the additional features: before dinner, we went for a massage at a nearby hotel. For the first time, the daughter cried at first - she had to distract with toys, and from the second session, without any toys, she quickly fell asleep under the hands of a massage therapist. We managed to bargain for $20 per session. In the same place, in the neighboring hotel, and also very close to it, there is a good playground with a variety of swings and for some reason a completely non-functional slide. There is also a private playground, but some are quite miserable and located close to the construction site. Well, they also went to their neighbors to admire palm trees, cacti and other vegetation - local plantings are very scarce.
In recent days, the increased wind has been bothering me a little. It was still very warm, but the fish became worse, and when swimming, sometimes a wave swept over my daughter's face, which made her a little upset.
In general, young people who want to hang out and see something will be frankly bored here. If you are traveling with a small child, you can’t think of a better place.
