We wanted to go on an excursion to Petra (Jordan) inexpensively and comfortably. We were advised by my friend to contact VotpuskEgypt. The tour is excellent, Petra is a stunning beautiful city in the stones, a special atmosphere in it. We visited many ancient interesting places. And it's nice that they sailed to Jordan by ferry, it's romantic and unusual. Absolutely loved it.

We arrived at the hotel at the beginning of 11 pm local time. The room was settled immediately, promising to bring water and a snack. Half an hour after contacting the reception again, they brought us one bottle of water (0.6 l), but we didn’t wait to eat, we went to bed hungry. By the way, bottled water is given out upon check-in, and then you have to collect it yourself from coolers located on each floor.

The room was cleaned daily, towels were also changed daily, but bed linen was never changed during the entire stay. The key to the room is an electronic one in the form of a plastic card, which must be inserted into a special slot in order for everything to work in the room. The TV is turned on with a button on the bottom of the screen.
The territory of the hotel is very compact, a lot of greenery, which is very carefully looked after: constantly watered, trimmed, weeded. Especially on the territory you can’t take a walk because of its compactness, and there is nowhere to go outside the territory - to the left and to the right there is nothing.
There are two fairly large and deep pools with fresh water on the territory (one is 1.55 m deep, the second is 1.45 m) and a pool for children 0.45 m deep. you need to take them to your room in the evening if you like to sunbathe at sunrise.
There is a playground where an animator is involved with the children (if any), but, in my opinion, all activities come down to the function of looking after the child. Animation at all in the hotel no.
Only Russian tourists seem to sunbathe and swim on the beach. By the way, Russians (as well as Ukrainians and Belarusians) are the predominant contingent in this hotel, in second place are the Poles, quite a bit of Italians. The beach is pretty unkempt. Garbage brought by waves or wind is cleaned very lazily and rarely. There are a lot of sunbeds, but there are few mattresses for sunbeds, and half of them have a very deplorable tattered appearance.
There is no pier, so you have to go to the edge of the reef, maneuvering between sea urchins, of which there are a huge number, and balancing on stones grown into corals (apparently, such a number of stones in the sea is due to the proximity of the mountains). There are not many marine life near the shore. The most convenient entrance to the sea (cleared from hedgehogs and stones) is at the very end of the beach. In the same place, it is most convenient to go down to swim along the reef, watch the fish and corals.
The food was rather poor in terms of assortment. Very few fruits: besides green melons and oranges, dates were given several times, but only twice were they of normal ripeness. Salads are basically the same - variations of cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots and cabbage. Desserts also did not differ in variety. And many of the dishes were just very spicy. At the time of our stay, the wine was completely absent (we are talking about local wine from the "all inclusive"), and strong alcoholic drinks are of very low quality and strength. Admittedly, the beer is pretty bad.
Basically, those who want to visit Israel, Jordan, visit Mount Moses and the monastery of St. Catherine come to this hotel.

I wanted to answer him………nothing…. I just need an escape from myself - to nowhere..... into exile... I again find Paradise - under the sky of the hot deserts of Jordan, leaving Sinai far away. And listening to the gentle, quiet rustling sands in the night, I suddenly feel on my skin how Eternity breathes, how sadly it is silent... In the mountains, at dawn, arms outstretched, I run from the sandy cliffs - and wait for the sun to aim its first blinding ray in the morning... I wander through the gorges in worn jeans that have absorbed all the dust of the roads. There is no one here - just me and the birds. There is no one here…. Only God. . . The moon over the mountains - oh, that's something! smoke, Arabian dream… The tour was very well and professionally organized. Went with a company (On Holiday Egypt). I liked absolutely everything. Vacation went great! . I recommend the hotel to everyone, I wish everyone a great rest…

We are picky tourists and we understand where we are going when we go to Egypt. This time we abandoned the usual holiday in Sharm El Sheikh and decided to go to Taba to visit nearby countries. We arrived in our native Sharm El Sheikh around 12:00, we were very quickly pulled out of the crowd of tourists and put into a minibus.

We are picky tourists and we understand where we are going when we go to Egypt. This time we abandoned the usual holiday in Sharm El Sheikh and decided to go to Taba to visit nearby countries.
We arrived in our native Sharm El Sheikh around 12:00, we were very quickly pulled out of the crowd of tourists and put into a minibus. Of course, it is very inconvenient to drive 300 kilometers along a serpentine, taking into account the height differences in a small bus. Yes, and in the absence of the option of reclining seatbacks. Shriveled after 3 hours of driving went to the reception. Everything is very modest, calm and polite. There are 50 tourists in the hotel, except for those 5 who came with us by minibus. We got a room with a sea view without any bribes. In a hotel, by the way, you probably have to pay a bribe to get a view of the desert, since the building is built in the shape of a horseshoe, and almost all the rooms face the sea.
Everything in the room was also clean, slightly shabby, a bit old. But the luxurious view from the room turns a blind eye to these shortcomings. Plumbing was in perfect order, although one of the days had problems with hot water. After a complaint about the reception, the issue was resolved within two hours. Cleaning was of high quality, the cleaner tried to earn at least something in view of the almost complete absence of tourists. From a purely human point of view, we understood his efforts and left $2 every other day. It was clear from his face that he wanted more. Swans and other animals from towels and pillows did not build. The bed linen was not new, as was the hotel, there were stains on the towels in places.
The territory of the hotel is more than compact, there is nowhere to walk at all. At the same time, everything is carefully cleaned and watered. The beach is almost empty, the entrance to the sea on the rocks further coral reef and depth. It is risky to enter the water without slippers. We bought them in the shop at the hotel, where the prices are absolutely adequate. The reef itself is poorer than in Sharm, but there are many fish, both large and small.
The food is normal, there is everything: fish, meat and chicken, side dishes in the form of rice, pasta, fried potatoes and mashed potatoes, a large selection of chopped vegetables (tasteless cucumbers and tomatoes), sausage, cheese, omelettes, yogurts, sausages, pizza, pastries, fruits (dates, melon, oranges). You can't stay hungry. There is practically no animation, but we calmly managed without it.
We were going to go on several excursions, but it turned out to go on only 2, the group did not get on the rest of the excursions. We ordered by phone at a local tour agency, which was advised to us by friends back in Russia. Then their guide called us to the room and organized for us a tour to Jerusalem with an overnight stay in Bethlehem and an excursion to Petra by ferry.
I liked everything, rest, excursions and the hotel were quite. Although next time we will not go to Taba, we saw everything we wanted. Taba and the hotel itself are suitable for a measured, very relaxing holiday.

Highly recommend to tourists who want to take a break from the city everyday bustle. It was my first time in Egypt and I am very glad that I made the right choice : -) The hotel is compact and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful sea. Gorgeous mountains. Delicious cuisine. All this is interrupted by tiny flaws - the lack of a variety of fruits (I would like to use them more than meat in the south) and unimportant cleaning of the room (what did you expect? The room is cleaned by a guy who doesn’t even know how to handle a mop : -) but, great twists miracles out of towels : -).
