To begin with, I’ll say that I’m in Egypt 3 times and generally travel for a long time, so I know a lot about five-star hotels! We went to Taba for 2 reasons - the proximity of Israel and the unusual combination of mountains and sea.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were immediately given the key. Room with sea view, 2 houses on the edge. Big room. Inside, everything is neat, the furniture is new, the interior is generally pleasant, slippers and a bathrobe are issued, which, by the way, I have not seen in any hotel. Cleaned great, they wrote here that the towels are old, I don’t know, we didn’t have anything like that. The territory itself is green and not very large (compared to the hotel in Sharm), which is good, because it is not far to the sea and the restaurant, which is especially important in the heat. The entrance to the sea is terrible. One is lined with slabs, and then there are corals. In principle, you can swim, but a couple of times having hit the stones well, I abandoned this entrance. The second - first concrete, then a small strip of stones, where you can also screw up!
When I swam with a mask, I was horrified by how uneven the bottom was! So, comrades, take slippers with you! There are also 2 pantones floating in the water, which is noteworthy, without a ladder, so it’s impossible to climb on them and their purpose is generally incomprehensible! And besides, they rest on anchors that can be stepped on! These are not stones for you! The beach is large, but you need to borrow sunbeds in the morning. There is a bar on the beach. In general, the sea and nearby mountains are simply unforgettable! When you swim, such a magnificent view opens up that there are no words to describe it! ! ! I am not a fan of swimming in the pool, but once I got there. The water is dirty in the literal sense of the word, the pool is small. Food. Lunch, breakfast and dinner in one restaurant. The air conditioning does not work well and what is especially annoying is the unmeasured number of children for whom their parents do not look at all!

Tables without children can be counted on the fingers, at least 3 children sit at each table, who run around everywhere, knock everyone down, yell, and even paw plates and get their hands into food! A Russian girl told us that while eating, an Arab child approached her and started pulling her hair! Sorry, I came to take a break from the bustle of the city, and then they put me in a kindergarten! Thank God, on the second day, the manager dragged us by the hand to 2 restaurants, cool, without children and queues for food (on the way, they send Europeans there). It somehow brightened up my trip. The food itself is not top notch. Every day, the national cuisine of different countries, especially the Mexican one. The variety of dishes is not very large, but it was enough for me. The fish is just rubbish, I don't know how they managed to spoil it! Soup is one water.
The rest of the food is delicious, a sweet table is lucky, sometimes nothing tasty at all, and sometimes just masterpieces. There were very few fruits and no melons at all! The staff is not pushy, as is usually the case in Arab countries, at least it annoys me when the waiters start to make eyes. There are no discos on the territory, but I didn’t need them. The animation program is terrifying, ill-conceived, uninteresting, poorly organized. Now separately about excursions. I already went to Israel last year from Sharm, where we got a disgusting guide, so I went again. This time everything was fine with the guide, I am very satisfied with the tour! When I went from Sharm, upon returning to the hotel (and it was late at night), a mini-dinner was waiting for us in the room. Now we decided to order dinner in the room the day before the tour, with us the Arab wrote down on a piece of paper the day when we need to bring dinner, the number
rooms and times.
We are returning from Israel, hungry (the last time we ate 11 hours ago) and tired. Upon arrival in the room, food was not found, we want to call the reception, but no such luck! Neither on the phone itself, nor anywhere in the numerous leaflets, the number is written! We have to go there ourselves, we are given a "dinner" and it turns out that the reception number is "0". As you wish, so guess! Dinner is an ordinary dry ration in a bag with weathered cheese, stale rolls and inedible sausage. The next day we made the biggest mistake - we went to Petra! The guide told us that we will arrive at the hotel at 17.00, which we were very happy about, because it was our last day and we wanted to swim for the last time. In fact, it turned out that we arrived at 22.00! The guide did not show up at our hotel at all. It is 14 km to Petra on foot (round trip), half of the road is on sand, it is unbearably difficult to walk, information is not perceived at all.

There is a restaurant in Petra itself, for some reason we were seated outdoors next to donkeys and camels, although there were seats inside! Food is nowhere worse, all salads with mayonnaise, which is incomprehensible at +40. On the way back an hour, and the guide left us and said, get yourself! And this despite the fact that there were 3 hours! Unthinkable. If anyone wants to go to Petra in the summer, do not hesitate! Loss of time. Before leaving home, we called the reception to find out what time the bus would arrive. They said they didn't know... And then who knows? ? Receptionist work is completely incomprehensible ! ! If we talk about the overall impression of the rest, then it is mixed, because everything seems to be superficially good, but all these little things are just annoying! To the question: Is it worth going to Radisson? I would say no rather than yes. Although maybe all their hotels in Taba are like that...
