Excellent sea, good hotel, there are nuances

Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For business travel; For families with children
Were at the end of April. They were afraid that it would be hot, because. We were traveling with a child who was just one year old. There were no major problems with the weather. There was a wind for a couple of days, it was hot for a couple of days, but in general the weather is good at this time, the air temperature is 32-35, the water is 22-25.
I will write what would be useful to me before the trip, and about which, unfortunately, no one has written much. The hotel is located in one of the three (I think there are three) regions of Taba - Taba Heights. There are only 4 hotels on the coast and one at a distance of a couple of kilometers from the sea - called "Three Corners". Along the coast, through all the hotels, there is a path laid with tiles, along which you can walk, run (many run). The length of the path is about 2-2.5 km, it stretches from the diving center, past the hotels (intercontinental, Marriott, Sofitel, Hayaat). You can swim in the sea anywhere, but you can only take your sunbeds. The best corals are in Hyatt (and not Sofitel, as written in a previous review). Opposite Mariotte there are also corals, but to the left, closer to Sofitel. They do not go in a wall, as in Hyatt, but in islands, at a shallow depth, which allows you to see the fish much closer. You just need to swim farther, and take to the left. It was near our hotel that we saw an octopus, a stingray and a lot of cool fish, incl. gray moray eels, Napoleon, proboscis, lions. In Hyatt there are 2 pontoons, between them and to the right of the large pontoon there are very beautiful corals, but there is a great depth. It is desirable to swim in special slippers, we bought them in a shop near the Three Corners, where they cost 5 dollars. In general, shopping should be done there, everything is cheaper. There goes a bus (free), every 30 minutes. he goes around all the hotels and the diving center. Before leaving, we were told that on Fridays in the Three Corners there is a large disco for vacationers from all hotels, seemingly free. There is a very cool view of the sea, I think everything looks amazing in the evening. There are also discos in the Intercontinental and Sofitel, whether the entrance is paid - I don’t know, we didn’t go there. In Marriott from entertainment - in the evenings, after 9 near the Regatta bar, a show with national dances. Looks beautiful. And above the Grotto bar even later (about 10) - live music (the same musicians who play near the Regatta from 8 to 9). Beach. We were there for 2 weeks, in the first week there were no problems with places, in the second week we had to take a place from 6 in the morning, and then with problems. People swear at the staff to get their seats. We did it ourselves, because the room was next to the beach. Territory - I liked it more than in other hotels, because. it is large, there is where to walk with a stroller. In the heat, you can walk through the galleries of the buildings. All rooms look towards the sea, but not all rooms can see it. The buildings are in rows, the number of floors is from 1 to 3. All rooms are large, the furniture is a little shabby. They provide a baby cot.
The food is a lot of spicy, only one type of fish each day, but cooked differently. The meat is not very good, almost every day boiled vegetables. My husband was seriously poisoned by some national dishes that are not subjected to heat treatment. The hotel has a doctor who can be contacted for insurance. The doctor is not great, but he can do a dressing with a hint. They did not deal with poisoning, because. everything was with me. On the very first day, my husband cut his leg on the coral, it is still healing (1.5 months have passed) - this is the question of slippers.

Staff. Arabs are Arabs. We had a fight a couple of times in the canteen, but we have a child who littered a lot and they apparently did not like us. There were no problems with cleaning. When checking in for a room with a sea view, they wanted to download 500 dollars for 14 days, agreed on 250, then they gave me to sign an additional invoice, where it is written in English that it costs 15 dollars a day, i. e. $210. But we gave 250, otherwise the number would not have appeared. They're funny, you speak good English to them, and then they think you can't read about $15 a day. We met a Muscovite who just put 20 bucks in her passport, and she was given a room with a view, but away from the sea. We had a room on the first floor, with a terrace and a clearing, and near the beach. We are satisfied, because with a child and a stroller, this is what you need. And don't feel sorry for 250 : )
Pools - actually one pool, divided into two parts, in one the water is cooler. The children's pool is a puddle 15 cm deep, in which I did not bathe my child, because. The water has never been changed there. Places near the pool were also occupied early in the morning, but if anything, you can sit on the grass near the pool in the shade of palm trees.
Animation - all animation is represented by one girl, she is at the children's disco, and belly dancing, and aqua aerobics, karaoke in the evening and other entertainment. Information about sports activities hangs near the towel booth on the beach. I was a couple of times on the belly dance, I saw water aerobics. If it wasn't for the kids, I would probably go. Although it is better to swim with a mask once again. A couple of times invited to play beach volleyball. In general, everything looks much more fun in the nearby Sofitel. And Hyatt is better too. You walk along their beach - there are always people playing something, music. Marriott is kind of calm and relaxed.
All Inclusive. We took HB, the hotel wanted to take all inclusive - this turned out to be a problem. If the number is decided at the reception, then meals through the guide. Our guide is Mukhamed from TezTour. Three days - and we have full meals, the cost is not less than in Kyiv when buying a ticket. So take it right away. Is it worth it? This is an individual question. In the mornings, there are queues at the bars for beer and juices, but from 11 o'clock it is already freer.
We did not go on excursions, good excursions to Jordan by sea and to Jerusalem. In general, they go to Taboo for this. Well, the sea, all the shortcomings of the hotel and service can be forgiven for the sake of the sea.
I hope my review is helpful. If you have any questions - write, I will answer according to fresh memories.
