I was in Egypt so many times that I lost the account . . I went to Taba to go to Israel or Jordan.
The MARRIOTT TABA HEIGHTS hotel is not at all 5 *, the territory is large of course beautiful . . the room is also large - comfortable . . BUT there are many BUT.
Firstly, the attitude of the staff is disgusting. Every self-respecting tourist will be shocked by such an attitude as it was in this hotel. In order to pay attention to you and take an order, you need to have VERY great patience. All inclusive does not mean that everything they will give it for free. At least there are bartenders on the beach, whoever they like. They can apply for free, or they can refuse, they will say pay money.

The food is also disgusting... there was no fruit at all . . for a week, fruits were served at lunch - tangerines, which are not possible, they were so dry inside that the only peeling them can be mistaken for kneading the hands. On another day for dinner they served bananas (FOOD)... it’s impossible to eat them... in the mouth everything is so “tied up” that it’s just horror. And 2 times there was another fruit that was sorted out in one minute... but they didn’t have the mind to put it in, or they didn’t want to bother themselves.
All inclusive... but why sign receipts for drinks that have zeros in them, but sometimes they forgot to put down ZOES... and then you will be charged such an amount when you check out... which will not seem enough... So if you drink any drinks, and sign checks, then draw zeros for them.
The impression left from this trip is disgusting. But that is not all. Get up early and go to the beach to take sunbeds, and if you come after breakfast, you may not find a free sunbed... And the boys who serve the beach ask for money for a free place under the sun. So. . .
take free advice: You came to the beach, but there is no sunbed, invite these boys, let them find free sunbeds for you, on which they themselves put beach towels... feel free to change your towels for them . . lie down . . sunbathe... they will ask for money... just smile and thank... do not give money... (of course, if you have extra, you can give a dollar... again, if you have a desire for this... but I think after a day you have it then the desire will disappear... only irritation with such an attitude will appear)
Now a little about excursions. Believe me, I have seen a lot during my travels, but my personal opinion is: There is NOTHING to do in Jordan. TRUST me and save $200-$250. Different tour operators therefore different prices. There may be something to watch, only it's not worth the money....it's better to leave this money for Israel. And here I will stop in more detail.

It is more desirable that at the beginning of the tour you would be taken to the "TEMPLE OF THE LORD"... ask the guide to go to this temple first. Ask him to tell you: where to consecrate the icons... if he doesn’t say or forgets... then I tell you... As soon as you enter the temple of the LORD, you will immediately see a marble slab and lamps hang and burn over it . . lay out everything that want to sanctify and mentally ask for blessings. Then there will be excursions around the temple. . . You will definitely buy and consecrate candles (a candle in which there are 33 pieces), it costs 2 dollars. . . have small money with you. . . you will consecrate a small cell near the "burial slab". . . the priest speaks Russian... kneel down and touch the "stove" at the bottom of the wall, at this time the father will light the holy fire on the candles... and put it out... you will leave the church... also consecrate these candles under the lamps. And not an unimportant piece of advice. IF YOU WANT TO BUY ICONS....or other SOUVENIRS... consecrate them on holy land . . THESE ARE SMALL STORES near the "CHURCH OF THE LORD", you can even bargain there....but when you will be taken to the "CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY OF CHRIST" ". . . they will be delivered to the store... there the prices are three times MORE EXPENSIVE. BELIEVE ME. How do you buy souvenirs or something that you want to consecrate... return to the TEMPLE OF THE LORD . . and consecrate all these things... Then when you are in the TEMPLE OF THE NATIVITY OF CHRIST... consecrate all this a second time... at the holy birthplace of CHRIST.
And one more piece of advice: If you want, you can even bring with you things "dear" to your heart, everything you consider necessary and consecrate them in two churches. For me, "faith"....it's like a particularly personal one... but if someone wrote what I'm writing to YOU ​ ​ now... then I would already be ready for this trip.
