We chose this hotel as our own Pegasus chain, from which we bought a ticket. For 4 people for 2 weeks, the price was the most interesting in Egypt, we considered only charm or marsa alam, we decided to choose Taboo, because. haven't been yet. . . What can I say? The hotel is large, with a huge territory, with a kilometer (!!! ) beach, and it feels like you live here alone in the desert)) In general, we really liked that almost only Russians, well, in some places, Ukrainians, behaved, by the way , calmly, mostly, people go family, or aged, because. near Israel, and schools of tourists go there on excursions...
What interested me was of course the sea, the fauna was very interesting, we didn’t even expect this!! ! Taba is a real "sloping" place... we saw the most beautiful eagles several times, some large marble rays, they mostly sat at the bottom, my husband saw two manta rays (!!! ). The eagles are handsome, it’s a pity there wasn’t an underwater camera with me, it’s a must here, unless of course you’re not afraid to swim, my husband and I swam, it feels like just the two of us, vacationers are either afraid or don’t know about the local sea beauty. They saw turtles a couple of times, although they say that the Arabs caught them all, but they were small, really. It is very interesting to watch flocks of lionfish, they chase fry in flocks of 9-10 pieces, I have never seen such numbers of lionfish. By the way, quite large barracudas sailed right to the pontoon in the morning. Well, there are also all kinds of smaller living creatures - a couple of stingrays-lima, several large moray eels, and different, white sea snakes with stripes, in the evening small moray eels crawled right onto the beach and picked something out from under the stones, all sorts of different fish, though Napoleons and they didn’t meet, after all, the reef is small, it stretches only to the right of the pier and is 150-200 meters long, they didn’t dare to swim further, in principle, and this one suited... squids constantly swam, by the way, nets are thrown at them in the evenings locals, if you swim in the morning, they still don’t have time to clean them up... in general, the local population does not hesitate to get food in the sea, my husband saw an Arab with a giant knife (! ), Who got something from the corals. In general, a separate topic is about caring for corals, there is no caretaker on the pier in the hotel - no one looks after the vacationers, does not drive them off the corals, and some just walk on them, people !! ! this is barbaric!! ! do not do this, they are dying from this and in 10 years this beauty will not exist!! ! By the way, another feature of Taba - such a dirty sea as it was here for a couple of days, I have never seen even here on the Black Sea, apparently it brings rubbish from all over the Red Sea and it just accumulates here, it’s just a nightmare, the guards are trying to collect it, but this is n. . . ts of course... then it takes him somewhere and again the sea is clear...
The hotel itself was renovated - a beautiful large foyer, a restaurant with good air conditioning, the rooms themselves are large, comfortable, the only thing was that the toilet did not work, they repaired it only on the second day.

We had a very beautiful view from the room, near a playground with white sand, 3 swimming pools.
It’s quite far to stomp to the sea, probably 100 meters, but the beach is gorgeous - there are VIP houses with curtains, you can hang yourself there and if you want, even spend the night, security allows... by the way, the staff with knowledge of Russian, or at least its rudiments , there are managers who speak very well, it's nice. Everyone pays attention, sometimes even excessive, like a guy from a spa, well, what to do, you can also understand, this is their money... By the way, the managing manager Yana is a Russian girl, you can always solve all problems with her, I saw her even helped to buy diapers for the child of vacationers, because they were not sold at the hotel)))
The food is very good, there is always meat, 3 different types and 1-2 types of fish, breakfasts are standard, no frills, fruits are different, alternate, sweet, tasty, varied, 1 or 2 soups. In general, no frills, but everything is tasty and fresh, there were no disorders in connection with nutrition...
There is animation, the more vacationers, the more noticeable it is, in the pool during the day, in the evening after dinner, and for children in the miki club, as usual. Once a week - oriental evening, they took out cakes, all sorts of competitions, a children's disco every day. In principle, we came only for the sake of the sea, but entertainment is also a nice bonus. . .
We talked with people who have already come to this hotel for the 3rd or 4th time, we might repeat if there is plenty to choose from. I really like that such attention is given to Russian vacationers, compared to other hotels, this is of course a big plus, and the sea is very, very good. The only thing is that it takes quite a long time to get to the airport - about 3.5 hours, the child was sick on the way back, so we will stock up on special pills)))
