Probably, I’ll start with the fact that a few hours after arriving from this wonderful place, I was hospitalized in an ambulance with severe poisoning in the Botkin hospital, from where I am writing now...
We arrived at the hotel at 6 o'clock in the morning and were unpleasantly surprised that we were not put on bracelets right away, but were told to wait until 12.00 in a stuffy hall, where, by the way, the air conditioner was not turned on. Our things were not taken to the luggage room, which apparently does not exist in the hotel. All suitcases were left outside.
Whenever we arrived earlier than the check-out time, we were given the opportunity to eat, change, go to the beach while our things were stored in the luggage room. Here we were not even offered a glass of water, I'm not talking about a cup of coffee!! ! And some, including me, were with small children. All for a fee! Why did I then pay for a ticket for 12 days / 11 nights, when there are as many days as nights.

After 12.00 we were allowed to go out for lunch. . . I have not seen anything like this anywhere: queues of 10-15 meters long for food. Lack of plates, tables, napkins, forks, knives, spoons. . . We had to stand in line for clean plates, which ran out before the waiter had time to bring them to the distribution table. Personally, the Poles almost beat me once when I unknowingly tried to take something out of the queue. At the same time, the plates cannot be called clean, they are smeared with greasy fingers, with the remnants of yesterday's food... As well as the "reusable" plastic glasses in which we were served all drinks, with the exception of coffee and wine. And beer, alcoholic cocktails, soda and water are only in plastic.
A separate word about water: if you decide to go to this hotel, do not take water from the cooler, it is better to buy it in a bottle. Water from the cooler is poured from the tap, we all felt sick after it. As for food: there are no fruits or vegetables... sometimes there were unripe melons and watermelons, sour dates, rotten oranges, grapes without branches (dirty, rotten berries). from vegetables, only cucumbers are normal, from "fresh" tomatoes it sharply smelled of rot, cabbage came across just dried up...
All the salads were heavily drizzled with vinegar, which speaks for itself. The only thing I liked was the meat. It was monotonous, but you could eat it! Stewed beef and chicken, grilled near the restaurant (almost every evening for dinner), then the same chicken overcooked in sauce was served for lunch.
We had the feeling that everything that other, normal hotels did not take was brought here. Since I talked on excursions with people from other places in Taba, everything suited them. They didn't throw themselves at food during excursions like we did when we were brought to the Hilton or Marriott.
The beach... The sand itself, only a lot of small and sharp stones - you don’t look like barefoot. Entrance to the sea - sharp stones and corals, nothing to do without special shoes! There is a pontoon, but somehow strange... the descent does not go into the water, but into the corals. So in any case, cuts on the legs and arms (even with a little excitement from the pontoon, you have to descend into the sea along the corals almost on all fours in order to avoid meeting sea urchins). The fauna in the sea, of course, only pleases. I have never seen such beauty as here anywhere... However, at low tide, go into the sea more carefully - small starfish writhe under your feet - do not cripple the poor crumbs...

Regarding the hotel staff and animation - not a single Russian speaker! You can explain in English. It was even very convenient for me: when I needed to explain something, everyone understood my English, they can also be understood if you get used to the Arabic pronunciation, and when the staff started to dig, you could always pretend not to understand anything. But the boors are all terrible - starting with the manager and ending with the Arab who gives out beach towels. An unpleasant story happened to us, in which the manager showed himself not from the best side. On the third day, we (everyone who flew with us on the same plane from Versa and Coral on) received a notice in English with the following content: your stay has been paid for only three days, tomorrow you must check out of the hotel. We did not understand anything, poured out at the reception. There they explained to us in English that our company paid the hotel only for three days and we are obliged to call Russia and find out everything ourselves.
The manager called our hotel guide and handed me the phone to ask him to come (as if he couldn't). I demanded that the hotel guide come, he gently sent me, saying that I should call Russia, that I had been deceived, that they had not paid money for me and that he would not protect us.
The manager briefly explained to me that if we did not resolve this issue, then tomorrow we would simply be kicked out of the hotel. What can I do in a foreign country. None of the phones of the host company Coral in Egypt answered. It was Saturday, if everything is not resolved today, then tomorrow there will be no one to talk to at all. I started making mobile phone calls to Russia, to the company that sold us tickets. They were very surprised by this turn of events. By the way, I have been flying on vacation with this company for several years and everything has always been great! I asked them to fax the bills to the hotel.
And I demanded from the manager to put my signature on this notice and the seal of the hotel, since they are so sure that they are right. They categorically refused without any reason!! ! After that, they ran for another half an hour, called, yelled. Then the manager came up and said: no problem, the issue is resolved, you can go to your rooms. No apologies.
I asked how the issue was resolved? Was it a payment, or a letter of guarantee? I was told it was payment. Very interesting, only on Saturday the banks do not work and the payment was made on time. So, we were just getting on our nerves because of someone's mistake... Even words cannot describe our feelings at that moment. If the hotel manager has such an attitude towards us, then what good can be expected from such a hotel?

The hotel is located in a very advantageous location: It's half an hour drive to Israel and Jordan. To Mount Moses 2 hours, to the Pyramids - 5 hours. Everyone goes there for the sake of excursions and it is unlikely to return a second time. Therefore, the manager saves on food and staff, because new guests will still come who want to see Petra and Jerusalem. Just think if you will go on a tour in the morning if you ate pasta with rotten sauce, a rotten tomato or just drank water from a dirty glass for dinner... During my stay in Morgan, many people got poisoned and eventually abandoned the tour.
