I visited Sofitel Taba in May 2015. The weather was beautiful all ten days, there was a wind for a couple of days in the morning.
It's been a wonderful vacation.
The hotel is very elegantly built, there is a lot of light, greenery and water surface around, great respect to the architects. Sometimes you can feel like in the Sultan's palace - in a good way, of course.
The rooms are clean, large and comfortable, although tiredness is already felt. Pleasant little things like lighting in the cabinets and a huge terrace are present.
The staff is friendly and works like clockwork.
The beach is clean and well-groomed, green grass adjoins it, which is very pleasant to walk on. The promenade along the sea also decorates the rest.
The pool with sea water makes it possible to swim well, because the abundance of living creatures in the sea, for example, made me finish swimming as soon as possible.

From the observed shortcomings. I will say that the level of the restaurant in terms of serving, selection of dishes and the taste of ordinary tea with bleach is not very compatible with the deluxe level that this hotel could well claim. Killed by life, brown plastic napkins are more suitable for a trucker's cafe than for a calving from the worldwide network.
On the other hand, when the choice is not ice, you want to eat less, there is less harm to health.
I went on a one-day Jerusalem tour, I was very pleased. In the physical sense, it turned out to be a difficult thing to stand in lines at the borders at night for more than 3 hours, but everything else was very educational. Price $105 I did not go to Jordan, 205 dollars. got expensive.
In general, I give the hotel 8 points out of 10 because of the restaurant.
