Hello! We chose this hotel because it had a good rating and a ticket for a week cost us $700. We bought a ticket 2 months before departure, we were a little worried: maybe the number would be bad or something else unforeseen. We arrived in Sharm at 21:30, then we were registered, received visas, we were met by representatives of the Anex tour, seated on buses and taken to the hotel. It takes 3 hours to get to Sofitel on a big bus and usually make a stop in Dahab for 15 minutes, there are no prices in the store and everything is very expensive, but there is a good toilet, good - I mean decent for Egypt in the desert)) When we went, then $ 1 u003.17 francs, in Cairo, water 1.25 liters on the market can be bought for 7 francs, in Dahab they will sell 0.5 liters for 16 francs. They immediately start screaming, Do you know how expensive it is to bring her here? - So they have 4 liters of gasoline - $ 1, and the roads are even better than in Europe. The buses were escorted by two small cars with 8 armed soldiers. At the entrance and exit from each town there is a checkpoint,
the driver presents a permit to travel, stops no more than a minute. At first it seems dumb, but in fact it is more for control, so that weapons and drugs are not smuggled in, tourists have nothing to be afraid of. It is also worth considering that the militarization took place during the revolution in 2014, the revolution ended, and the military, who want to be in a share of the control of the territory, remained.
We arrived at almost 2 am. Almost 120 people began to settle in unanimously (they xerify the passport, give a key card and cards for towels and hang a bracelet on the handle). And we were also invited to dinner, the main restaurant was working. And only at 4 am managed to go to bed. All Ukrainian visitors were settled in one building, the doors of all from the side of the garden and mountains (inner courtyard), and the windows to the outside - the sea, the beach, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The room has a free safe. Wi-Fi caught in the lobby, but it's so-so if there are 10 other people hanging out.

You can buy a Vodafone card at the airport for $10 with free and good internet. Breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00, lunch from 13:00 to 15:00, and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. During breaks, you can come to take juices and cocktails in the bar and ice cream from 15:00 to 17:00. The food is certainly not super, they don’t give shrimp, unless you order a paid seafood dinner in the tower for $ 60, but you won’t go hungry either. Vegetables, salads, sauces (be careful, they can be very spicy), soup, fish, chicken, sausages, rice, potatoes, sausages are not tasty, it’s not possible to eat at all, fruits and a large assortment of cakes, you can also take red wine separately at the bar , white or pink. Towels are provided near the pool. Be sure to take a mask and snorkel, near the pontoon there are coral reefs and many colored fish, in front of the pool there is a beach area fenced with buoys, where there is only one sand, the sea becomes very deep and even the reefs begin after 20-30m,
so it's good to go there with kids. It is also worth considering that there are mountains behind the hotel, and when we were resting, at exactly 17:30 the sun was hiding behind the mountain, and it was impossible to sunbathe, and it started to get cool, we took towels and went to swim in the pool. The rooms are cleaned every day, so don’t scatter your clothes much)) We took 2 excursions Lost Land for $ 90 and a trip to Cairo for $ 140 (excursion from Sharm for 90 and travel 50, you will still need to buy a visa at Sharma airport upon arrival for 25 $). We were taken to the "Lost Land" from the hotel at 5 in the morning, while they were given lunch boxes with buns, fruits, cheese and 0.5 bottles of water, it's better to take another liter from the room with you, it won't hurt in the desert. 1:30 am driven to the desert for Nuweiba, the Bedouins (like our tsiganis, he has great rights) will treat you to tea, then you will be driven for 40 minutes on bags, maybe even on a camel, then there will be an excursion and a hike through the colored canyon and the desert, where an hour and a half.
After that, they will take you back to the Bedouins and treat you with pita bread, cheese and tea. Get ready that a dozen barefoot children will run after you and ask for "eat" and you will have to give most of your brakes to them. It's just a pity for them. Then return to Taba, where they will put on a yacht and drive up to the island of the Pharaoh. Lunch on the yacht, then diving instruction and with each pair descent for 15-20 minutes at 4-6 m, there are much more fish than near Sofitel and a very beautiful reef, you can swim with a mask and snorkel near the island and the yacht. All this time we were filmed by the operator and took both pictures of the group and individually of each. The disc costs $20 for two. But you may be able to negotiate with him more beneficially for the group and for him. We were brought to the hotel at 17:30. The excursion to Cairo was the next day, first we left at 6:30 from Taba to Sharm, from 9:30 to 11:30 we collected tourists from Sharm hotels, and then went to Cairo. at 19:30 we were brought to a 5-star boat on the Nile, near the park,
after check-in and dinner, we rode a couple of hours along the Nile and arranged a small concert with oriental dances. The next day in the morning we were taken by bus to the Egyptian Museum, the papyrus museum shop, to have lunch, to the pyramids and to the Sphinx. Of course, the guide will tell you how to behave with the local population near the pyramids, but be prepared: the pyramids are large, incredible, shabby, but it is unlikely that you will be imbued with the spirit of the mighty Egyptian era because of these salesmen, from an hour of walking near the pyramids for 40 minutes you will answer and run away, better pretend to be blind-deaf-mute. We left Cairo at 16:30, at 23:00 we were in Sharm, and at 1:30 in Sofitel. We were very happy that in the room a set table with buns, cheese, sausage and fruit was waiting for us.

On the territory of the hotel there is a bank and a shop with souvenirs, slippers and handkerchiefs, for another $ 4-5 you can buy a phone case to take pictures of fish. But be aware
that the water will begin to press on the entire screen and it will begin to open and close various links itself, it is better to find the screen lock mode and button control. On Samsung A3, if you quickly press the menu button 3 times, the entire screen is blocked (a blue bar will move across the screen), then press it quickly 2 times and enter the photo mode, and take pictures with the volume, to exit the mode, you must quickly press the button again - menu 3 times.
Many thanks to the employees of Sofitel, Anex-Tour and Vitalia from "Come with us" shopping center "Arbat" in Dnepropetrovsk for a great vacation)
