There are only a couple of working hotels in Taba and they are 1/3 occupied. But you can walk along the coast, walk around the "idle hotels" and eat dates straight from the trees.
Close to Israel, that's why we went here.
It's a couple of hours to go to Taboo from charm. They make one stop at a local store with which the kickback system works and then they bring everyone to the nearest guests, and you are the last - in general, think in advance about water and food on this journey.
BEACH: The beach is sandy, the entrance to the water is only from the pantone, you can go from the beach but you can go far and you can hurt your legs. We saw a lot of fish and other creatures. It was windy on the beach, straw screens do not protect from the wind (see the photo where you can see the wind on the palm trees), but it saved the pool with sea water, since the building closes from the wind!! ! You can walk to pantones of other nearby hotels.

ROOM: The rooms are large, all with a good sea view and a terrace (2 sunbeds + table + 2 chairs). The furniture is all massive wooden, serviceable. The bed is white and clean.
ALCOHOL: great cocktails are made in the lobby (near the reception)! Real coconut milk is added to pina colada! Decorate with canned pineapple, make real tequila boom with salt as expected. Juices from cardboard packs. See the photo of the cocktail list (try the scorpion cocktail). This bar also has peanuts, just ask for it!
FOOD: Lots of flour products: cereal buns, toast, grisini sticks, croissants, puffs, etc. A bunch of sweets, Fruits: Finniki, apples, guava, melon, etc.
Tasty pizza; in the morning omelettes with mushrooms, tomatoes and in principle whatever you want to choose from; pancakes with honey, chocolate. Yoghurts and cereals; Lipton tea and herbal, really tasty coffee (there is something to compare with) and milk...
For an afternoon snack they give chips (with paprika and regular ones) and make hot dogs! And of course ice cream!
TERRITORY: Huge, with gorgeous views. Half is empty, if it were occupied, it would be even better. There are a lot of crows on the territory, but they do not really interfere, sutra sun loungers are in their litter, but a couple of people walk around and constantly wash them. The eating area on the street is closed with a net (from birds) for all the time only a couple of small sparrows have flown. Beautiful red sunset. On the territory there are 2 tables for ping-pong (table tennis) - take rackets with you. In the main building, climb the tower (through the library). The simulators are not very old, they are few and not greased. There is a tennis field, but for a fee. There are elevators. The sea water pool is great! There is a jacuzzi. A couple of souvenir shops on site. On the beach, if you go to the left, there is a beautiful bay with non-working hotels and, accordingly, untouched beaches.

SERVICE: the representative of the tour operator does not come to the hotel, "the meeting with him also takes place on the bus") The guy who cleans up the annoying one and begs for a tip with all his appearance. Near the pool, the staff helps to move the sun loungers, open umbrellas. Always look neat in white shirts. They clear the tables promptly. The staff knows Russian worse than in Sharm or Hurghada, but English is fluent.
ANIMATION: 2 animators + DJ: there was a charge, volleyball (with vacationers from neighboring hotels), a beach disco (for several hotels), a performance in the lobby (the singer came and dances from the animators). They also take out for free to the mountains there a performance for vacationers from all Taba hotels, and take it out for free to the second line to the town where the staff lives and there are a couple of hotels - there are cafes, souvenir shops. BUT there is nowhere to buy fruit! And no one offered tours either.
And on weekends, Jordanians (Arabs) come in (BUT this is only for 2 days! ) - a couple of families of 15 people each, they are not a clean nation, so do not sit next to the dining room and do not lie down next to the pool (just so as not to spoil your vacation with what you see)
Israel was not allowed. They kept me at the border (on plastic chairs) from 12 am to 9 am. They asked about family and work, checked all things, counted money, looked at photos in phones, contacts, etc. in general it was a terrible night, but it has nothing to do with the hotel. I will write advice on this about who will ask.
