The hotel is excellent. Egypt is Egypt, but Movenpick in Taba is a great Egyptian hotel.
Those 3-5% of Russian-speaking boors usually remain dissatisfied with the hotel (fortunately, Russian-speakers hardly rest there at all), who, for example, can afford to yell at the waiter at the entire restaurant "Where is my vine? ! Wherte is my cola ?! ", realizing that no one will send them to the father away.
Of course, you can find fault with the little things - for example, to change the bed every day or replace a burned-out lamp in a floor lamp, you just need to politely tell the room service about it or leave a note. But is this really such a problem?
Feeding - for 5 (both assortment, and choice, and cooking - especially dessert). The food does not end in the first hour. For example, breakfast from 6.30 to 10.00. We got enough sleep and went to breakfast at 9 am. And there was plenty of food.

Beach. There are no corals there, there are some pebbles at the water's edge. The water itself is clear and warm. I do not understand those who are so hot in Egypt in the summer.
In Kyiv, I endure the heat much worse than it was in Egypt. There are enough sun loungers, as well as free space in the sea))
The area is really big. The nearby Hilton has a lot more rooms and a much smaller beach, besides the access to the sea is through steps (or jump over large rocks).

Were on excursions in Israel (1 day in Jerusalem and the Merv Sea). The Dead Sea - like the Dead Sea, my wife and I did not experience any great emotions on the occasion of being in it, although there were different people - some, however, bought 10 packs of mud ($ 5 per pack), believing that they would be healed of all diseases ))
The excursion to Jerusalem itself (more precisely, its route) is good.
But the guide is a horror and a disgrace. For those who travel from Pegasus, I inform you that our "guide" was called IRINA TREYVAS. If you want to:
- listen mainly to quotations from the Bible,
- instead of interesting facts, you constantly hear "you need to come here not for 1 day, but for 2, because
you won't see anything (!!! ) in a day;
- accept claims that you need to take a picture ONLY after her story (although this grumbling can hardly be called a story);
- and in the end - to gallop the whole excursion without an articulate interesting story - you are on the way with Irina Treivas (a repatriate from Minsk, who lives in some village near Haifa and still does not believe that she cannot be returned back to the USSR).
REMEMBER THIS NAME! (I think that for $190/per person it was possible to pick up at least a professional guide, and not a rubbish maker, with rare exceptions, of various kinds of trinkets).

Last but not least, we flew via Sharm (there were no direct flights to Taba for our 11 day tour). I won't say that it's so terrible and hard - 3 hours in a soft air-conditioned bus, but somehow a little tiring. So it's up to you to choose how to fly.
AND MOST IMPORTANT!! ! At Sharm Airport, prices for souvenirs are lower than in hotel and hotel shops.

By the way, in Sharma's duty free, the prices are reasonable compared to our Boryspil.
