My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 10 days and recently returned from there. Vacation was a success! I want to write the pros and cons of the hotel and Taba.
The road from Sharm to Taba took 4-4.5 hours. Of course it's tedious. At the reception (very attentive staff) we were immediately given the key to the room (to our surprise, the room was not changed, we liked everything). Beautiful view from the window, daily cleaning with mopping, change of towels every day, various figures from towels - very nice! (we left a tip of 2 bucks a day on the bed).
The territory of the hotel is huge, you can wander around it in the evenings, but get bored - you can go to the territory of the neighboring Hilton, and there for shopping (because the prices for sunscreen, T-shirts, souvenirs in the hotel go off scale).

The beach is a large area, a very convenient entrance to the sea. But the corals are kind of grey. Now, if you swim a little towards the Hilton, then there you can look at beautiful coral bushes. Lots of marine life. We saw moray eels (they say that 2 pieces live there in caves), small stingrays, parrot fish and other delights of the sea. A very beautiful view from the beach, when it gets dark, lights come on at the other end of the coast. Such romance!
The hotel has a Russian girl guest relation. This is a plus for the hotel, because. Not all Russians speak English. We did not approach her, because. if there are no problems, then there is no need to bother a person over trifles.
The food is good, varied, during the rest we did not get tired of the diet. Of the minuses of the main restaurant: powdered drinks like yupi, but other bars have normal juices and few fruits, although it may not be the season.
We didn’t go to other restaurants, although it was possible to eat in Scheherazade for free, but you need to sign up, and we constantly forgot. In fact, my husband and I are unpretentious in food.
The animation is not bad: tourists and evening performances are entertained during the day. It's a pity that they finish early, there is nothing to do on the territory of the hotel later. We went to the Hilton in the evenings.
At the beginning of the holiday, we went on an excursion to Israel. We got a good guide and told about his country and the places we visited with such love that it seems that you can’t read more information even in books. Thanks to guide Yasha in Israel! We took the tour from Tatyana, wrote to her, she gave her phone number and we went. Price - compared to other firms impressed, cheap. Even from Russia, we wrote off with several companies, but chose this company because of the attention that Tatyana gave us, and the price. Tourists who took more expensive from other guides were also on our bus. Tatyana's phone is passed from mouth to mouth by the tourists themselves. : ) It’s interesting, after all, the Egyptians do business, they realized that it’s better to let the Russian staff communicate with tourists than themselves (just when we wrote on the Internet, we thought that the Egyptian would answer and not give a complete answer, but it turned out that Russians work in the company ). The city itself is small, and it is not a city at all, but a border area with Israel. In the evening, there is no need to go outside the hotel, because. there is nothing interesting there.
We did not go for a walk in Eilat, although there is such an opportunity there. Other tourists who went said that there was nothing interesting there, the hotel was better. : ) I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing family holiday or honeymooners. My husband and I reminisced about our honeymoon. . .
