We got a room on the first floor near the main restaurant. The view was on the terrace. At first they thought that this was not the best location, but it turned out that everything was fine - there were no noises from the hall, the terrace was also not crowded and therefore quiet, the view of the mountains was no worse than it would be on the sea. But everything was at hand - the restaurant, the reception, and access to the pool / beach : ) They cleaned the room every day, changed almost 10 types of towels, made the bed, even cleaned the terrace, brought a bottle of clean water. When they began to leave 1 pound each, they began to cover the bed figuratively + they began to wear water without interruption every day (on the first day, for some reason, water was not brought).
The food in the restaurant was very varied. In the morning - a queue for scrambled eggs (the chef asks what to add to it and prepares it), yoghurts, muesli, juices for bottling (the other 2 times they need to be ordered from the waiter).
For lunch and dinner - there were always 1-2 of any meat and fish dishes. All three meals - fresh and very tasty pastries, vegetables, salads, fruits (in particular, melons were always served at this time, other fruits (grapes, pomegranates, dates, guava) - from time to time), sausages, cheeses. Dessert - a separate table full of cakes, cakes, cookies, once there were very tasty marshmallows. In general, even when we came to the restaurant with the firm intention of eating a little this time - ended up with a uniform overeating : ) Hence the first warning - do not even hope to go on a diet in this hotel : )! As for all-inclusive drinks, they give locally produced beer (not very strong, but quite normal. Our bottled beer sucks compared to it, but our draft is still better : ) ), amazing juices (we have juices with such a natural taste, probably not for sale, the first feeling is that the juices are freshly squeezed), black tea, coffee.
You can also order a cocktail, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, but it usually takes longer.
The contingent of the hotel - the French, Italians, Czechs, Jews, Arabs, in general, a very international composition, there are very few Russians in this mass. Lots of families with children. The staff is very helpful. But! The second warning is that most people don’t know Russian very well, only numbers (to write down the room number, for example, when issuing towels), and the waiters have a few phrases + the names of the main dishes. Therefore, when going to this hotel (and, it seems, to any hotel in Taba in general), you need to firmly understand that it will be problematic with one Russian language. It is very good if you (or someone with you) knows English well. The staff was very happy when we talked to him in English, knowing that we are from Russia, as one waiter noted - Russians rarely speak English.
The attitude towards us was very warm on the part of the staff who constantly served us, perhaps because we always treated everyone politely and with smiles. This paid off - "their" waiters served us much faster than usual, they themselves offered and quickly brought something unusual (for example, various very tasty cocktails).
Animation did not interest us, we saw what it was - exercises, games in the pool. On the sea, we didn’t notice any parachutes, bananas, motorcycles (and in general, there are three warnings! Young people who want to have a good time are better off in some Hurghada! There seems to be a disco in the Hilton, but hardly a big one), but on the territory of the hotel there is diving club Aqua Sport, in the "menu" of which there are various water programs and entertainment - a ship with a glass bottom, a catamaran, a yacht, diving. Well, we didn't use it, so we don't know the details.
The beach is large enough, there was always a place, but it's better to take umbrellas in the morning, and then go for breakfast, leaving your things and towels on the sunbeds (this is another advantage of the foreign majority in the hotel - you don't think they will / won't cop : ) ). Take your masks with you - the water is clear, there is something to see - different types of fish, sea urchins, coral reefs on the rocks to the right of the beach. Once they even saw a rather predatory fish in the water, as they later found out from a book - a large barracuda. But no cases of her attacks were heard, although she looked scary : )
From the standard set for all hotels - excursions. Here's another warning! Their prices are outrageous. That is, it’s not that we should be dragged around the pyramids and other attractions for free.
The fact is that in the hotel we looked at the stands of foreign tour operators, and found out that the prices of the Russian tour operator are two times higher than for similar excursions from foreigners. Jerusalem - 200 dollars (from foreigners - from $ 120 to 125 euros), Petra - $ 220 (we don't remember exactly, they also have 100 kopecks), Cairo - $ 75. Well, during the excursions themselves, you will be brought into pens for Russian tourists with wild prices.
Little tricks: in Cairo you can’t buy anything cheap at the pyramids, you can’t buy anything in tourist shops either, but if you don’t mind the money, you can buy very large (and very expensive) papyri, as well as quite interesting perfumes (from $ 30 for 30 ml ). We all saw the same thing that was offered at the pyramids in the Hilton at the bazaar (as already mentioned in other reviews - this hotel is nearby, tourists are freely allowed to visit each other), and at the same, or even lower prices + bargain at least and not very much, but it works.
In an excursion to Jerusalem - even trenchant. On the way there will be a visit to the Dead Sea and you will be dropped off next to a shop for Russians. So, if you are not too lazy + speak a little English, then walk away, where the rest of the shops are, it's literally a couple of minutes walk. There is the same assortment, but with completely different prices (products of the Dead Sea - 2 times cheaper, souvenirs - 3-4 times cheaper). Just look at prices in shekels and divide by 4 to get prices in dollars. Approximately the same picture in Jerusalem - in the souvenir shop (very beautiful wooden works, icons, candles) prices are 3-4 times higher than the same in the bazaar, but there is one difficulty - they won’t let you hang out at the bazaar, you will almost run away. It is not clear how to get out of this situation, apparently it is better to take a full-fledged vacation in Israel and calmly stock up on everyone. Well, or fork out and take it right away : )
And finally, let's try to remember some of the minuses. They practically did not exist, and what was - trifles. Sometimes drinks were carried for a long time, this is if the waiter was not "his", who remembers us and rejoices at us : ) A couple of questions arose for the Egyptian agency working with our tour operator - it seems that they learned the art of gouging from the Russians. Otherwise, we cannot explain why on the day the time was changed from summer to winter (in Egypt, this is somewhere in the beginning of September), the tour began in the old way (although at the reception we were assured that all excursions should be in a new way), and also why In the booth, information about the departure time was only for one group (as it turned out later, not ours, ours left earlier, and therefore everyone had to wait for us, how the rest found out the time of departure is a secret for us).

Closer to Israel, only the Hilton, right behind which the checkpoint begins, is clearly visible from the Hilton territory - the Israeli flag and barbed wire are visible. The flag of Jordan is also visible from the Hilton beach on the other side.
