As after a good wine there is a pleasant and incomparable aftertaste, so after our stay at the Hilton Taba, the best memories and impressions will remain forever.
We were on holiday in Egypt for the first time. Taboo was chosen because of the proximity to the Holy Places that we managed to visit. It is admirable how such wonderful hotels appear on bare stones, in the desert, among the rocks.
The overall impression of the hotel is admiration. Cozy and relatively large territory, homely atmosphere, friendly and well-trained staff, cleanliness and order.
We arrived on time, the flight went unnoticed, the flight time Kyiv - Taba was 3 hours 15 minutes. In flight, we fed and watered, thanks to Ukraine International Airlines and Pegasus. Transfer to the hotel from Taba airport - 30 minutes. We arrived at about 12.30, were immediately sent for lunch (although we had not had time to get hungry yet), there was no delay with the settlement.

Rooms: clean and comfortable, cleaning DAILY!! ! In the mini bar - 1.5 liters of water. But when we didn't have enough, the staff added a bottle. Toiletries, towels were also changed daily, regardless of the dollar left.
Infrastructure: in the hotel itself there are shops, casinos, banks (the rate is acceptable), on the territory there is a Dyutik (much better in Boryspil) and a bazaar (clothes market, souvenirs, cosmetics, accessories for the sea). There is also a hookah bar and a diving center (for a fee).
Food: delicious, fresh and varied. I list what you could get on the menu: meat (chicken, beef, lamb); superbly cooked fish (including salted herring), fresh and steamed vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, various types of cabbage, carrots, beets, legumes, zucchini, eggplant, olives, salads, greens); cheeses (feta, cheddar, gouda); muesli, yogurt; soups (chicken, vegetable, pumpkin, lentils AND EVEN URAINSKY BORSCH WITH BEEF PIECES! ); side dishes: rice, potatoes, pasta; fruits (bananas, oranges, apples, guava, melon, watermelon, lemons, limes, dates, dried apricots) both fresh and canned. Lots of sauces and seasonings, food is prepared without them, and then you can add whatever you like. I liked olive oil, sesame oil, apple and wine vinegar, amazingly delicious soy sauce for fish. Sausages and sausages - alas, soy. Also the same morning omelette with vegetables, or just scrambled eggs. Additionally, you can taste delicious shawarma (either with beef, or with chicken, with vegetables), grilled lamb kobaski, grilled seafood with vegetables, all kinds of cutlets... About pastries and sweets - NO COMMENTS (look at the photo for yourself), as well as 6.7 types of jams, chocolate, toast, waffles. . . Tea - Lipton, coffee - Nescafe instant, in the main restaurant you can brew yourself with milk. On the beach, coffee is really "no". Juices: good, from tetra-packs. Alcohol: excellent light lager beer, dry white and red wine, gin and tonic. I haven’t tried vodka, whiskey at “3+”, with ice - very usable, good rum. Tequila, who loves, said it was good.
Restaurants and bars: you can dine at the restaurants "Nelson" and "Meraba" at least every day (all inclusive! ), only from 13.00 prior registration at the counter at the entrance to the main restaurant. And in the "Nelson" you can also dine without an appointment. We did not go to Italian - it is paid. There were no snacks in the bars, only cupcakes for tea in the lobby bar from 16.00. But have mercy! The way they serve food in restaurants, snacks in bars will be just “too much”. Do not abuse alcohol, swim a lot, and you will have time to work up a good appetite))) I personally didn’t go for dinner once, once for lunch (I had lunch and re-breakfast, so I wanted to try everything !!! )

Beach: great! Big, clean, there were always free sunbeds and hammocks. And in the Nelson Village area - quite wide, there is absolutely free entry into the water. Although all the same, at the market (it is on site), I recommend buying slippers (only $ 5). There are corals, but in Sharm, as experts said, they are brighter and more beautiful. THE BEACH IS! a locker room (see photo) and two toilets (sorry, no photo here))).
Sea: clean, transparent, turquoise, very salty. At sunset, mountains are reflected in the water, and that's when it turns red)))
Service: a fairly high level. The staff knows English well (I had to remember the school course), and tries to speak Russian. The receptionists speak Russian quite well. Every day the main manager of the hotel - vacationers is interested in the quality of rest, opinion about the hotel, which is nice.
Mosquitoes: alas, there were. Even if they are poisoned. Those who lived "in the villa" felt them very, very much. Stock up on fumigators and repellents. However, the people of Kiev who were resting with us complained at the reception about mosquitoes, they did not have time to go up to the room - there were already fumigators and mosquito plates. This is for the service, by the way))).
Swimming pool: only the one with sea water was successful. Water change and pool cleaning IN A DAY! I did not climb in the jacuzzi). Enough of the pool.
Entertainment: the animation is calm and unobtrusive, not for those who like to move. Animators - charming Sam and Dasha. "Stretching" on the beach, volleyball, water volleyball, aqua aerobics, Arabic lessons, children's disco, there are also for adults, live music and karaoke in the lobby bar, competitions, an evening of Egyptian folklore. We liked.
Excursions: visited Mount Moses and Jerusalem (1 day) + Dead Sea. It's enough for a week's rest if you want to sunbathe and swim a little. Traveled with Pegasus. FABULOUS! First, we signed up for an excursion to Israel with a local tour operator, but overslept, because. the day before they were on the mountain of Moses. Those who traveled with the locals were also very satisfied. With Pegasus - more expensive, but safer. I do not want to advertise anyone, write to the mail (register here, ask questions) and I will answer in detail.

Tour Operator: Pegasus. We were lucky. There are no significant comments. Believe it or not!! ! And I don't pay attention to the little things! Everything was on time, everything was clear, and they returned to Kyiv even an hour earlier than planned. Special thanks to the hotel guide Alexander Shekhirev. He is our guy)))) Although the guides - the Egyptians are distinguished by intimidation and aggressiveness.
Summary: We are lucky. The hotel was occupied by 30%, but perhaps because of this, not everything was functioning (there was no lighting in the pool, not all restaurants and bars worked, the jacuzzi did not gurgle... ) But we had enough of everything anyway !! ! Even those who at first tried to express dissatisfaction left the hotel with smiles, good mood and a desire to return here again. It is a fact! We went with a huge margin of positive and we were lucky. We got 100% rest!! ! Thanks to Hilton, and Pegasus, and Ukraine International Airlines! And to everyone who stayed with us! For a great vacation, pleasant communication, new acquaintances and unforgettable impressions!
P. S. Some notes to be aware of. 1. In the hotel, for the purpose of security measures, enhanced control. Maybe he gets bored, but I treat it with understanding. Yes, then I got used to it. Border territory! 2. Standard rooms do not have balconies. If you want to change, you will have to pay extra $ 25 / day for a sea view with a balcony and $ 35 / day for staying in a villa. No one took baksheesh at the reception!! ! Everything is very fundamental. We got a good number absolutely by accident!! ! (Although I offered $20 and a bottle of vodka. To which I politely(! ) was told that this was unacceptable). Like this. But the number was good. Attempts to thank later also received a polite but convincing refusal. Those who put up with the number, in the end, were still satisfied, because. We only slept in the room! Some changed the standard to the standard, but with a better view (with a piece of the sea). 3. Those vacationers in Hilton and Movenpick who traveled outside the Sinai Peninsula (Israel, Jordan, Cairo) when leaving the bus pay 75 Egyptian pounds extra per person. PAY IN POUNDS! Perhaps this is a local "divorce", but you need to pay. Otherwise, you will miss the plane; ). Tip: change dollars at the bank at the hotel. It will cost you $13.4. I recommend flying directly to Taba (Tuesday, Friday - direct flights from Boryspil). Transfer from Sharm (whoever is lucky) from 3 to 5 hours (according to the reviews of vacationers). 5. Ride with an open heart and a smile on your face and everything will come back to you a hundredfold! And do not regret the notorious ONE DOLLAR! Staff, bartender, waiter, guide, driver! Although it is not necessary... ALL HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY IN THE HILTON TABAH!
