Hello. My review of this hotel will turn out to be not small, but please, do not be lazy, read to the end. The information may be useful to you.
So, we rested in this hotel from 10.09 to 22.09. Fly with Pegasus. And I must say right away that this was the first and last time we used the services of this company. Why - you will see. Even at home, I read terrible reviews about hotel guides from the Pegasus company, which intimidate tourists, behave shamelessly and spoil the mood. I will say right away that there was nothing like that, although our guide did not solve the problems that arose.

The journey from the moment we left the house to the moment we arrived at the hotel took us 14.5 hours. I can’t stand the road very well, and therefore I cursed the whole event for what it was. The airport in Taba is closed until October, so we were driven 4.5 hours by bus from Sharm. By the way, we got off with a little blood. Some were carried for more than 6 hours. So, we arrived at the hotel around 22:00.
We were fed, resettled and we crawled around the rooms. But I took all my curses back the very next day : ) First things first.

Number
The furniture in the room is slightly gouged, it doesn’t pull on the top five in any way (and in all the rooms in which our family stayed). The refrigerator seems to be buzzing, but it does its job poorly. So if you are going to store something in it, then immediately abandon this idea. Check out the bathroom. We met a young couple, they had a broken shower - when switching from a tap to a shower, the water continued to flow merrily from the tap. They found a way out - somehow poked a finger, then decided not to suffer and called the service. The shower was repaired, but they wanted to rip off the money, they say they broke it. So watch everything carefully.
The air conditioner is a little weird. It took me a while to figure it out, but in the end I still won it. Not all rooms have instructions for use, so I'll write here.
The display shows a certain temperature, for example, 23 degrees. By pressing on - or on + you set the desired temperature, for example, +3 degrees from the one that is now. And the air will gradually warm up. Accordingly, also in the direction of the minus.
Rooms are cleaned daily, but sometimes they put dirty towels. More precisely, they are washed, but spots of unknown origin still remain on them. Not very nice. Although all sorts of pretzels of them roll up regularly. The floor doesn't seem to be cleaned. Mom dropped a cotton swab on the floor in her room. So she stayed there for several days. But I still left a dollar almost every day. At least for lotuses and swans : )
I forgot to say, a standard room without a balcony, which depressed me a little, but, as it turned out, you can live. Things dried up and so in one day. Supplement for a room with a balcony is $25 per night.

The pleasure is doubtful, since many rooms with a balcony overlook the disco, and I doubt that it will not be heard even with the window closed. Accommodation in a bungalow - an additional fee of $ 35 per day.

Territory
The territory of our hotel is not very big, but it was enough for us. You can go for a walk on the territory of the neighboring Movenpick. Sometimes, when passing through the security post, they ask for the room number and name. The neighboring hotel has a large area, but some ...stupid. There is a lot of space, but there is little interesting, so we went once and didn’t feel like it anymore. Everything is cozy and compact at the Hilton, there are charming and very comfortable hammocks on the beach, however, they fill up pretty quickly.
The most interesting corals are on the border between Hilton and Movenpick. There are rocks and fish along the Hilton Beach, but they are nothing compared to those corals.
Although, a funny octopus was seen several times on the stones opposite the Marhaba restaurant. It is best to watch corals at high tide, there is more freedom in moving. And be careful, in the evening, several lionfish come to these corals even before the beach closes. These are very dangerous and poisonous fish.

Nutrition
I have a rather capricious stomach, so when I eat out, I break down food almost to molecules, checking for freshness and readiness. Remembering my last vacation in Egypt, when I ate only rice and cucumbers for 2 weeks, because everything else was damp, bloody and smelled strange, here I ate for real. Everything is baked, fried and delicious. True, it quickly became boring, there was not enough variety. Desserts deserve special attention - it's mega delicious.

Chocolate glazed donuts, raspberry jelly, various mousses, the most delicate cakes soaked with coconut, banana-chocolate and lemon-cream pies and much more. Sweet tooth will have a place to roam. There are not many vegetables. I'm afraid to eat chopped salads, so I took cucumbers and tomatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers. And lettuce. By the way, a doctor friend advised us to water the vegetables with lime juice, because it reduces the risk of intestinal infections. Fortunately, limes are almost always given there. There were very few fruits and they were completely unappetizing. Sliced almost to the state of porridge - they did not arouse any interest in me. Once they gave fresh figs, I almost cried with joy. Now I am writing this review and I am finishing the second apple, the third is next in line. Very tired : )
The hotel has 3 restaurants in addition to the main one. 1 seafood restaurant, but it is paid. Those who travel on the all-inclusive system get a 20% discount.
We didn't go there, so I can't say anything about it. There is also a Nelson restaurant (Mexican cuisine) and Marhaba (Lebanese cuisine). The last 2 restaurants are free, but you need to sign up there at one in the afternoon next to the main restaurant. Places are limited, so get there early if you want to visit these places. In Nelson and Marhab there is no buffet, ordering dishes from the menu. Make no mistake, it's not very big : ) And be careful with snacks. We usually ate enough of them already, and there was not enough space for the main course. Marhab has delicious grilled chicken. In Nelson, try nachos and perch fillets.
There is a Pirate bar on the beach. The charming bartender Mohamed works there (I hope I wrote it correctly). Do not spare money for him, he is really a very good and kind guy. He makes sure that they don’t get too drunk (and rightly so, after all, the sea is nearby), he always smiles and jokes. There is also a pool bar and a hookah cafe Shish Bish.
At the last establishment, it seems, from 17.00 all drinks become paid. In the rest of the bars on the beach, everything is free, alcohol is poured from 11 o'clock. I don’t advise you to go to Shish Bish during the day, there is a very strange staff. The waiter is either stoned, or is himself so wonderful. In general, Mohamed - our friend, saved us with delicious drinks in the heat of the day. Lady, don't be shy to ask him for delicious cocktails : ) So tell me - a delicious cocktail for me, men fadlek (it's "please" in Arabic).

Animation

I wrote this word, and everything was trembling inside : ) The animation is AMAZING. The guys are really great. Rady, Bavy, Mido - they made my holiday really sooooo interesting. Previously, on vacation, I never paid attention to the animators and preferred to lie quietly on the sidelines as a vegetable. But these guys turned my whole idea of spending time at sea upside down. At 11 am, there is a stretching next to the pirate bar.
But the exercises are mostly different every day, once there was even a Tai Chi massage. Rady is a master of his craft, knows a lot of interesting things and always gives advice. He never refuses anyone, he often trains individually after stretching with those who have some problems with muscles, spine, etc. at 12 o’clock, water aerobics takes place in the pool. The lesson is fun and useful, do not be too lazy to go. Men also come there, and even a grandfather was seen a couple of times. Sea of positive from the charming Mido : ) At the same time in the other part of the pool there is a water volleyball. Immediately after aerobics, dancing takes place in the same pool. Here the unforgettable Bavy joins the animators. Ohhh, how I envy you that you have yet to watch him dance. The club dances are fun, but certainly don't unlock his potential. But when he dances by himself - this is something, it is impossible to take your eyes off.
40 begin to assemble teams for beach volleyball.
The evening animation is mainly performed by visiting dancers. The program is sometimes repeated, sometimes it changes radically. And, of course, nowhere without Miss and Mr. Hotel contests. Sounds silly, but still fun : )
From about 23.30 to 2.00 there is a disco next to the restaurant.

Tours
We went on 2 excursions, bought from Pegasus.
The first - Israel for 1 day - included a trip to the Dead Sea (there you will be offered to buy mud at the rate of 1 bag per 1 person. If you want to use the mud on the beach, then you can easily buy 1 bag for several people, it was enough for us for three and a little more left). Next is the Church of the Nativity. Here we had a disaster - our guide was detained by the police, because he touched on a political topic, and someone heard it. We waited for him for about an hour and a half. More interesting, our bus left in an unknown direction.

The guide warned us, but just in case, I'll write here - do not leave things on the bus, it can be changed. So, there is no bus, we were exhausted in the heat, the guide called the driver, he said that he would be in 2 minutes. But as you know, eastern 2 minutes are very different from European ones. In short, he never came. We were sent a minibus for 20 people. And a group of forty people: ) After some time, a carriage drove up for the second part. All rusty, duct-taped, rattling. On these motley vehicles, we were taken to the main first bus (we changed to another bus, since not all drivers have the right to travel to Jerusalem). Further restaurant and after that the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Here we must pay tribute to our guide, because by some miracle he shoved us there, bypassing the line and begged the Temple employees so that our entire group would visit the place where the Holy Fire descends.
They consecrated things on the stone of Chrismation, climbed Golgotha and then went to the Wailing Wall. Remember, when you move away from the wall, you can not immediately turn your back on it. Some distance will have to go backwards. A few words about the guide - a stunningly interesting person. Even despite the unpleasant moments, everyone was satisfied with the tour. Igor knows a lot of things and tells it so interestingly that even people from other groups came up to listen to him. Igor, if by some miracle you are reading this, my parents and I want to thank you again!
The second excursion is the Monastery of St. Catherine. I will say right away that if you do not need to visit this particular saint, and your interest is more touristic than religious, then you should not go there. An old monastery, a beautiful panorama of the mountains and that's it. Really, it's not worth a whole day. After the monastery, we were taken to have lunch at the hotel, and after that (tadaaaa!
) for shopping, about which, for some reason, Nikolai (our hotel guide) forgot to tell us when he talked about excursions. Anyway. But with the guide again lucky. This time it was the Egyptian Said. He spoke Russian very well, told interesting things, answered all questions, in general, did not let us get bored.

ladle of tar
We left the hotel on Saturday at 10.45 am. On Friday afternoon, I went to my room to change (I lived in a separate room, my parents in a separate one). And I found that someone had visited me, because the card that is inserted in order for the air conditioner and the light to work was lifted from its socket. It wasn't cleaning - it always comes late, the bed is not made, the dollar is in place, all the other things too. I did not attach any importance to this and soon forgot. After dinner, I went up to my room again and found that the mysterious guest had come again - this time the card was completely turned over in the slot.

The room still wasn't cleaned. Agree - it's not very nice to know that someone is walking around in your number. Further, even more interesting, under my door I found a letter from the guards with a request to contact them. I didn’t find Nikolai, so I waited for the evening, saw him in the lobby, and we went to figure out what kind of message this was. And then the HEAT started. They called a security representative, some senior manager, and they began to prove to me that I had broken the fire alarm, can you imagine? Allegedly, for the first time their security sensor received a signal that someone touched the fire and broke it. And supposedly an engineer came and fixed it. But I did not stop, and climbed to break it again, and finally broke it. And then the engineer could not fix it. And the bottom line is you have to pay. It is noteworthy that both times the signal about the breakdown was received when I was not physically in the room.
He puffed, something like the conversation was already over, and we did not ask for a printout. That is, "I would be interested to see the printout" is not the same as "I want to get a printout. " The mood, as you know, was already spoiled. My number was 408, so be careful.
On the day of departure, the adventure continued. A minibus came for us, and already another representative of Pegasus told us the good news that we would go without air conditioning, because there were problems with gasoline in Egypt. Can you imagine what it is like to be in an iron box in such heat for at least an hour? They started arguing again. We called Nikolai. Nikolai said: "I will come now. " And for some reason we never saw him before we left. This bus had a strange baggage handling system. The luggage compartment was located in the same place as the passenger compartment. But at the same time, the suitcases had to be served through the window.
I saw it for the first time, and, frankly, I was in a stupor from this action. It's good that I was not alone, and they helped me to drag the suitcase. What I would do if I was alone - I have no idea. So we set off. The stuffiness is incredible, and I prepared myself for a slow death. About 20 minutes later, the driver took pity and turned on the air conditioner for us, although he said that he was forbidden to do this at the office. That was the end of our adventures, but my friend stayed at the hotel and joined our vacation. He had less luck with the flight. He flew with the North Wind airline. On the way to Egypt, their flight was delayed by 2 hours. On the way from Egypt, too, but thank God, this was already known at the hotel. Their group was loaded onto a bus, taken to the airport, but on the way they were told that the flight was being postponed. My long-suffering friend was sent to another hotel to while away the time. Accordingly, without food and drink. Their flight was due to leave at 22.

00, in fact this wonderful event happened around 2.00.

So, summing up my entire story, I cannot give you specific advice - whether to go on vacation to the Hilton or not. The holiday itself was amazing, but the ending spoiled the whole impression. Although we try to remember only the good, but the unpleasant aftertaste, of course, remained. If you still decide to spend your vacation in this hotel, eat fruit in advance (to make you feel sick), look half-heartedly at the furniture in the room and strange showers on the beach, take hammocks early and let the animators drag you wherever they call . And, of course, hello Rady. Oh yeah, and don't touch the fire alarms! : )

Good luck and good mood!
