Just got back from Taba. Yes, it all started with a flight delay of 6 hours (comp. Lik Tour), but that was the end of the trouble. From the very first glance, I really liked the Intercontinental. The rooms are spacious. If something is wrong in the room, immediately report to the reception. They'll fix it right away. Our safe didn't work. They fixed it the same day as requested. The territory is very large, green and beautiful. 2 large swimming pools. The salt lake is the highlight of this hotel. Depth 2.2 meters. Clean, with sea water and small fish. The sea is clean, there is a small coral reef and when the sea is calm, you can enjoy the beautiful underwater world while snorkeling. Lots of fish, very diverse. Who is not enough, you can walk along the beach to Sofitel (10 min. ), There is a pontoon. More depth and more beautiful fish. You can easily visit other hotels there. Our child found a waterslide in nearby Mariot and we went to ride there. The beach is very clean, constantly cleaned. A waiter walks along the beach offering drinks. The sea is not very deep but it is enough for swimming and snorkeling. Especially good for those with children. We were a family with a 6 year old son. There is a sandy entrance which is very convenient. The food is very good. Large selection and well prepared and tasty. A large selection of meat and fish, and seafood is also constantly available for lunch and dinner. Gorgeous sweet tables. Fruit enough, all that was in season. Free fresh juice for breakfast. The drinks are great. In bars, bottled beer, except for the pool bar, is draft. Packet Juices! Very tasty. Our child especially liked guava and apple. They make delicious cocktails. Lots of bars. But be careful with the pool bar, which is also next to the beach. Very arrogant bartenders work there who love to do dirty tricks if you do not give a tip. We did not give because we rarely went there. They gave a dollar to the waiter on the beach and did not have to wait long for him to come up. Very nice bar, friendly guys at the bar on the beach. He works until night. They also give coffee with cakes and ice cream for free from 16 to 17 hours. Very good bar on the salt lake. A la carte restaurants are paid. Service is top notch everywhere.
