Just got back from Taba. Yes, it all started with a flight delay of 6 hours (comp. Lik Tour), but that was the end of the trouble. From the very first glance, I really liked the Intercontinental. The rooms are spacious. If something is wrong in the room, immediately report to the reception. They'll fix it right away. Our safe didn't work. They fixed it the same day as requested. The territory is very large, green and beautiful. 2 large swimming pools. The salt lake is the highlight of this hotel. Depth 2.2 meters. Clean, with sea water and small fish. The sea is clean, there is a small coral reef and when the sea is calm, you can enjoy the beautiful underwater world while snorkeling. Lots of fish, very diverse. Who is not enough, you can walk along the beach to Sofitel (10 min. ), There is a pontoon. More depth and more beautiful fish. You can easily visit other hotels there. Our child found a waterslide in nearby Mariot and we went to ride there. The beach is very clean, constantly cleaned. A waiter walks along the beach offering drinks. The sea is not very deep but it is enough for swimming and snorkeling. Especially good for those with children. We were a family with a 6 year old son. There is a sandy entrance which is very convenient. The food is very good. Large selection and well prepared and tasty. A large selection of meat and fish, and seafood is also constantly available for lunch and dinner. Gorgeous sweet tables. Fruit enough, all that was in season. Free fresh juice for breakfast. The drinks are great. In bars, bottled beer, except for the pool bar, is draft. Packet Juices! Very tasty. Our child especially liked guava and apple. They make delicious cocktails. Lots of bars. But be careful with the pool bar, which is also next to the beach. Very arrogant bartenders work there who love to do dirty tricks if you do not give a tip. We did not give because we rarely went there. They gave a dollar to the waiter on the beach and did not have to wait long for him to come up. Very nice bar, friendly guys at the bar on the beach. He works until night. They also give coffee with cakes and ice cream for free from 16 to 17 hours. Very good bar on the salt lake. A la carte restaurants are paid. Service is top notch everywhere. In addition to cleaning the room. Cleaned not perfectly and tips did not help. We first left then stopped. It makes no sense. The staff is friendly. I really liked that I never had to look for a table in a restaurant or set it. The restaurant manager escorts everyone to the already clean table. Drinks in the restaurant are brought by waiters. There is a lobby bar and a bar next to the restaurant where evening programs take place. We really enjoyed the live music. They sing well, worth a listen. The guys sing 3 times a week. On other days there are dance programs. Were at the show of fakirs. I also liked it very much. There are always places on the beach. A hotel for a quiet respectable holiday. Vacationers are mostly foreigners. No one occupies sunbeds in the morning. Everything is civil. There are always places on the beach and near the pool and salt lake. There really is no animation. We didn't see any daytime activities and the evening shows are all invited. But we didn't really need it. From the children's club, a woman walked along the beach inviting children. Our son went to play a couple of times, he liked it. They drew masks, played on the playground and in children. basin. True, there were few children in children. few people went to the club. There is tennis but paid (10 dollars per hour in the afternoon and 15 in the evening), mini golf 18 holes (5 dollars), there is a large golf outside the territory. There was billiards 6 dollars. per hour and ping pong for free. Table football, fitness club for free. So we really enjoyed it and came back happy. We were on excursions in Jerusalem, it is worth a trip, although we expected more. We weren't but were told by people who went that it was a very interesting excursion to Jordan. We recommend this hotel. We have something to compare. In Egypt, the third time, rested only in five stars, but this one is the best in terms of everything, the sea, food service, etc. Very beautiful nature. The mountains. So go, you won't regret it.
