Taba Heights, a section of about 2x2 km, with armed cordons at the entrance, four five-star hotels on the shore and one four-star hotel near the hills, you can walk around this area, swim, but it seems that you can’t drink or eat anything in other hotels, although in fact no one who doesn't care. We often went to Hyatt and Sofitel, their reef is much more beautiful, 20-30 min. along the beach or along the path. The shopping center is called Uptown, a dozen or two stores, free buses run to it every half an hour, prices for everything are 2-3 times lower than those in hotels, although they are not on sale either.
About the hotel. Built five years ago, new and beautiful, only three buildings, we had a room overlooking the pool and the sea in the main building (for $20). The room is spacious, the bed is huge, the sex is great in the morning, afternoon and evening (it didn't matter). There were about a quarter of Ukrainians in the hotel, maybe a little less. Many French, Italians, Poles, Slovaks. Fortunately, the Muscovites were not noticed, but ours also did not always behave decently, although, of course, these are two big differences. The staff is completely unobtrusive, once they heard a request for ten dollars in an all-inclusive bar, but the young lady was found, answering kiss inaf, and so, if you ask for wine, they run headlong, even if it’s not his table at all. In an area of ​ ​ approx. 5-6 bars where you can drink cocktails from morning to 11. The food is not distinguished by sophistication, but you could always choose what you want today. There were always two or three types of meat, chicken, fish, cheeses, a lot of vegetables and salads (sometimes overbaked), rice, potatoes and lasagna, we disdained. Dates with green oranges, the same apples, melon and some kind of guava were added to the fruit basement, however, oriental sweets turned out to be tastier than any passion fruit, so we didn’t really sweat it because of the lack of peaches and grapes, well, it doesn’t grow with them, they don’t want to import. The number of European-style cakes exceeded reasonable approaches to variety, but we did not eat them, oriental ones are about eight times tastier.

About travel. We went to Petra and Jerusalem. Petra is over-praised, she doesn’t feel like a wonder of the world, although it’s worth a look. It cost us $240, by boat to Akkaba in Jordan, from there three hours by bus, a good lunch at the local Marriott. Be sure to bring warm clothes! We were cold in October due to strong winds, Petra is located at an altitude of approx. 1 km. The ancient city itself is heavily destroyed, the main impression is from the gorge that leads to it, although this is a natural landscape, and not a wonder of the world.
For those concerned about religion, Israel is just Mecca, here you have the place where the Lord was born, where he died, candles, icons, tombs, priests, the Lavra is resting. A Jewish tour guide named Valery took us to a store where everything was about 5 times more expensive than in the usual tourist shops in Bethlehem, well, we didn’t buy anything there. Gryat, there were righteous! We got to Jerusalem to the Wailing Wall on a holiday, it was impossible to break through and ask God for something good, so we watched the crowd with delight: one in white, one in a black hat, Hasidim, Orthodox, screaming, beating themselves with palm branches.
