A week ago we returned from Taba, InterContinental Hotel. The only drawback can be considered a long transfer from the airport (3 hours), since there are no planes flying from Odessa to Taba. Everything else is very good.
1. The rooms are large, they were cleaned daily, carefully, the bed was changed, towels too. Slippers, bathrobes, a kettle were in the room. All rooms are located close enough to the sea and the central restaurant, swimming pool and salt lake. There were no complaints about the settlement.
2. The service is unobtrusive, but decent enough. Nobody clings, everyone is polite and helpful. As one tourist said, and I agree with her, "here they still lick tourists. "
3. Food is quite decent by Egyptian standards. Fresh orange juice in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon, fresh food. There were no yesterday's products on today's table. In bars according to the "ALL" system, they make pleasant non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails.

4. The beach is huge and no one sits on each other's heads. Moreover, the sun loungers are separated by partitions and are at a distance, it seems that you are alone on the beach. But the coral reef is very weak, it cannot be compared with Sharm. If you like diving with a mask, then you will not see anything special there. But there is a salt lake with sea water, which is very important with the current shark panic. It seems that you swim in the sea, but you are not afraid of any reptiles.
5. No animation. But this is characteristic of Egypt now. Aqua aerobics, volleyball, bocha. In the evening, however, good live music. I have been to many hotels - this is a standard set, I have not seen anything else.
6. Excursions. I was convinced once again that with local travel agencies you can go anywhere, but for much less money. Great organization, same bus, same guide. This is how we went to Jordan, our friends went to Israel. They contacted us from home, sent them their passport details, and immediately after their arrival we went to Jordan. Our visas were ready, the guys called the hotel and gave detailed recommendations. In short, well done.
7. Nearby there is a decent Water world. There our men mastered water skiing. The equipment is quite decent, and the place is very pleasant, with a small restaurant and a good beach. It is from there that the ferries leave for Jordan.
7. Interested in the Internet. Cards are sold for an hour, a day and a week. WI-FI in the lobby is 2 times cheaper than in the room. But do not take immediately for a week. We couldn’t set up our computer, we had to use a local one in the business center, but they have a prehistoric one. Take it for an hour, check it out, and then you can already for a week, since this pleasure costs about 50 USD. I don't want to throw it away.
In general, the impressions are positive. We have been to Egypt many times and we think this hotel is very good. Recommended for those who want a calm, quiet holiday and good service.
