We returned from the hotel and were not satisfied.
I'll start the review with the fact that now there is no manager in the hotel, he will only be in 2 weeks and I hope to correct the situation.
The manager for Russian-speaking tourists (Lyudmila) - finalized the last week and she didn’t care about everything, except for the recommendations that the hotel had to give her, so she even translated the deputy manager not what we said. Fortunately, we understand English and later expressed what they wanted.
The chef of the restaurant (French) quit on the 5th day of our stay. With him, and "left" food at least some. And so in order from the pros.

1. Transfer is excellent. We flew through Pegasus, there are no complaints about them. At the airport, their representatives asked if we needed a visa, we said no, we were given migration cards and we went to passport control. They wrote on the map -sinai only and did not spend 15 USD on a visa. From Sharm, the road took 3.5 hours, all this time we were entertained by the guide with different stories. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children aged 9.
2. The hotel is a large area, large rooms. Settled in 5 minutes, without any additional payments. Welcome cocktail upon arrival. Things were brought to the room 5 minutes after our settlement.
3. The hotel guide Alexei was very polite, did not require purchases of excursions, answered all questions.
4. The sea is beautiful, there is a cleared entrance, but slippers are still needed. Fish, corals, clear water. In the morning 23 degrees water, in the afternoon 28.
5. The territory of the hotel -2 large pools (there are children, but we didn't need them), the water was 26-28 degrees in them, clean. There were enough sun loungers for everyone both near the pool and on the beach. Sea water lagoon, very warm water, transparent, dress in pleasure. No mosquitoes, no flies, constantly poisoned. There was an invasion of locusts one of the days, a lot. But the next day they disappeared, leaving gnawed leaves on palm trees : ). There are 3 hotels nearby, the territory of which you can use, along the sea there is a path leading to them. Walk 3 minutes to the first. There are places to play. You can go to them for dinner, after taking a certificate at the reception (per day). Hotels: marriott, sofitel (there is a pier) and hayat.
From 9-15 am every 30 minutes a free bus runs, you can drive to the mall or to neighboring hotels if you are too lazy to walk.

6. My daughter had a birthday. You need to tell the reception about this in advance and sign up for congratulations. They give a small cake either in the room or in the restaurant. Because there were 6 of us and she made friends there, then we ordered a cake for 12 people (additional payment of $ 50 per cake), the cake was mega tasty and mega big. It was really enough for 40 people. They made it to order, half of it was chocolate, and the other half was fruit. For which a big thank you to the restaurant. We sang a song to our daughter, she was satisfied. The manager of the main restaurant oversees the work of the staff there, his subordinates work well.
7. Rooms: Cleaning is excellent, wet cleaning every day, change of towels and bed. Daughter twisted figurines from towels. Every day they bring water to the room (1.5 liters), but you can ask for 2 bottles, they will not refuse you. As well as tea, coffee, sugar.
8. Drinks, ice cream: bottled water is provided at the bars, this is a big plus, because. in other hotels you yourself need to type in coolers. All juices are packaged (not UPI), bottled beer (bar near the lagoon), in other bars - kegs. Ice cream - in a bar on the beach from 16 to 17-00.
Bars: near the pool, near the lagoon, on the beach, near the main restaurant, in the hotel lobby. From 10-00 delicious coffee is brewed (cappuccino, amerekano) - included in the all-inclusive. Cocktails are best made at the lobby bar, milkshakes at the pool bar. Try guava juice, just super.
Minuses:
1. Service: just a boorish appeal to Russians. The hotel is divided into Russian speakers and everyone else. Even talking to them in English, they treat you badly. Towels provided near the pool. Beach Boy - will always bring them to foreigners, open an umbrella, lay towels on sunbeds. We do everything ourselves and even requests are ignored.
We had a number of negative situations when the hotel staff was simply rude at requests (the waiters near the pool and the bar, which is mostly near the restaurant), and when they started to run into them for rudeness, they neighed and continued to be rude so that vacationers came up to us and asked what happened. As a result, they all had to be built in such a way that then the floor of the hotel management staff walked and apologized.
At a meeting with the hotel administration, they expressed all the claims, after which some of them were eliminated and quickly.

2. Food: this is a big minus of a world-famous hotel. First, it's very scarce. Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausages, rolls, fruit, pastries, some cold cuts, pancakes. Every day the same thing, really sickening. Pros are fresh for breakfast and pastries.
Lunches: 2 soups (you can’t eat), 2-3 side dishes (pasta, which is called pasta. But it doesn’t smell like pasta. Rice and potatoes. Everything), 2 types of meat (beef in gravy and chicken), sometimes fried for lunch fish. Salads - a hodgepodge of what was not eaten for breakfast, tomatoes and cucumbers. A few fruits (dates, melons, oranges, prunes) and desserts (jelly and some cakes, which were almost gone in an hour. ) In total, very little and very scarce. I rested in many 5-kah, but there was no such minimum for food anywhere.
Dinner - again 2 soups, rolls, 2-3 side dishes (mashed potatoes, rice, pasta), 2-3 types of meat (chicken in gravy, beef), steamed vegetables (oh yes, they saved), fruit at least (again, melon, oranges , grapefruits, dates, apples, watermelon and peaches 2 times a week). What saved us was a dish from the chef (until he retired), fish or meat, which he (or him) cooked in front of us, with a delicious sauce. Everything is fresh. Once they gave crabs (very peppery, they couldn’t eat), once sushi (with carrots and crab sticks), 3 things in each hand, once there were quails (very tasty) and squids in batter (also super).
BUT THE BIGGEST minus is poisoning. Of us 6 people, four were poisoned. The child of friends has not eaten at all for the last 4 days, he drank tea with a bun without anything, he vomited from everything. I spent a day with poisoning. I talked with vacationers - many had stomach problems (vomiting, diarrhea, etc. ), everyone was in shock.
The reaction of the hotel administration (Lyudmila, who is the manager for working with Russian-speaking tourists) - she told me in person that I was lying about the poisoning and that it was not clear what and where I ate. Any food complaints were simply ignored.
After the chef was fired, the amount of food decreased by 2 times and became even worse. For dinner, except for mashed potatoes and chicken with cucumbers, it was impossible to eat anything.

3. Animation - it simply does not exist in practice. What is there - a day later, evening shows (we saw 3 in 8 days) and 30 minutes of a children's disco. The animator girl, who is also the main dance show, is just super. Dancing amazingly. Belly dance is amazing.
On the 5th day of stay, water aerobics appeared (although it starts at 12-00, in the very heat, when people hide in numbers). But there was : )
4. On Saturday, the large pool broke down, it was closed for the whole day and the whole crowd was sitting in 1 small one, despite the fact that a bunch of Arab families ran into it for the weekend - this is terrible !!! ! Boars, clamor, spit everywhere, in the restaurant they try everything with their hands (sauces, rolls paw), this is tryndets. Tagil is resting in front of them. Their women in overalls climb into the pool, then there is such dregs that horror. The hotel is aimed at foreigners, but there are a lot of Arabs there. Those who came without families brazenly pester Russian women. And no one ever tells them anything from the staff!!!!
Conclusion: if with the arrival of the manager (like a German) the situation in terms of food and service will change, you can and should go to the hotel, because. it used to be a wonderful place and everyone who was in it a year ago and earlier was shocked by such negative changes. In general, it is now clear to me why tours to this hotel have been sold so cheaply lately (1 thousand dollars for three for 8 days and 7 nights). The price matches the quality. And probably for such money it is silly to demand more.
