We were in Paris for 5 days. Back in Moscow, a travel agency booked 2 rooms in this hotel, and paid for everything (88 euros per room per day)
When they arrived, they were amazed.
The hotel has no stars for a long time. The name of the "hotel" (more precisely, a rooming house) is simply indicated on the facade and no three stars...
We went inside... The elevator to lift things did not work.
There was 1 awful dirty elevator upholstered in dirty used carpet. This elevator could fit a maximum of one person, but without things.
As a result, things were dragged on themselves to the 4th floor by themselves.
When we entered the room, an even greater shock awaited us - dirt, blood stains on the bedspread, a broken closet door leaning against the wall.
I won’t say anything about sanitary equipment at all.
We spent the night there and realized that even though we paid in advance, it was impossible to stay there.

It was beyond our strength to survive another night there. I had to pack up and move to a real three-star hotel.
We just crossed the Place de Republique and found a hotel with a decent facade, a real three stars - Meslay Republique.
The room cost 100 euros per day, the room is clean, comfortable, a completely different matter.
