Advantages: the center of Paris, the right bank (30 seconds to Tuileries Park, 3 minutes to Place Vendô me), very friendly, helpful service at the reception (in English, French and even - in one of the shifts - in good Russian), hearty breakfasts with high-quality juices and yoghurts; during the day, delicious tea and good coffee are offered in the hotel lobby.
Disadvantages: the hotel became a four-star hotel, which significantly increased the cost of living in it, but remained a solid three-star hotel in a number of ways: small rooms - both standard and more expensive deluxe, which, in general, is typical for Parisian hotels; lack of ventilation in a miniature combined bathroom (after taking a shower, the door to the bathroom has to be left open for a long time, but after the toilet - let's say, do not rush to take a shower); despite the late spring, the absence of any fresh vegetables for breakfast (in winter and spring, the diet is exactly the same); rooms overlooking the courtyard are filled early in the morning with annoying noise from the kitchen and the rattle of carts - even through closed windows; very weak, constantly intermittent wi-fi in the rooms, stable internet is found only in the hotel lobby.
Nevertheless, despite the listed shortcomings, I want to return to this hotel again - first of all, thanks to the friendly helpful service at the reception, good location, and Paris itself, of course...
