I was at the hotel with my wife for the May holidays. Unlucky with the weather - it was cold, on average + 7-8. The temperature in the hotel room is the same. The climate control system in the hotel does not work for heating. Changed the number - the result is the same. The cracks in the windows are half a finger thick. We asked for a heater. Luckily there was a friend who spoke French. After a 30-minute conversation and an attempt by the staff to convince us that we just need to turn the climate control knob to heating (I’m on “you” with the equipment, so all means were tried before going to the administrator) we were told “No problem, now a person will come to you and bring a heater. An hour later I go down to the reception - the manager, with whom we talked for a long time, went home and did not say anything to anyone. All over again and again assurances that everything will be done. In half an hour I go down again - they tell me that the worker just now went up to our room and I have to go and see for myself. And so 4 times. It ended up that we literally brought the hotel worker by the hand, showed him everything (non-heating climate control, cracks, temperature in the room). Only after that they brought us a heater, but the model of the first Soviet ones was a fan heater with an open spiral. Moreover, it not only burns oxygen and "smells", it also makes an incredible noise. I took it back after expressing everything I think about them. Not only did they not help me, they stole 2.5 hours of my time. Did I fly to Paris for this? Our French acquaintances called the hotel "Winter's Tale" among themselves.
Episode two. When moving from room to room, I left my Russian SIM card in the old room. It took 2 days to convince the receptionist to approach the new tenant of our "old" room and bring us this SIM card. We were told for a long time that it is very difficult and almost impossible. Only after we declared that we would go and do everything ourselves (and as practice showed, it was necessary to do so), they convinced us that we should not worry, we should rest and enjoy Paris, and they would bring us sim during the day. -card. Needless to say, in the evening after the tour, surprised eyes at the reception and warm assurances awaited us that tomorrow they will do everything, and now the new owner of the room is already sleeping. We left incredibly upset by the complete lack of understanding of the service in this hotel.
And in continuation of the story, while already in Russia, I received an email from the hotel with a message that the SIM card was found and an offer to send them my credit card details so that they could pay for the delivery of the SIM card to my home address...

P. S. They say that things used to be much better. A year and a half ago, the owner of the hotel moved to another place and the service department decided not to "steam" with maintaining the level. And one more thing: the hotel has just completed a renovation that lasted six months (this is me to the cracks and heat).
